Ballena National Park is home to the most recognizable natural formation/landmark in all of the Osa Peninsula – the famous ‘Whales Tail’ beach located inside Ballena National Park’s Uvita entrance.

Ballena National Park is located an easy 20 minutes drive from Las Villas de San Buenas. Simply head north on the Costanera Highway until you arrive in Uvita.

Ballena National Park is a larege National Park, with approximately 110 hectares (270 acres) of beach and an incredible 5,400 hectares of sea (13,300 acres).
