Fantastic place! Was so surprised to find a hidden gem like this with plenty of options and fresh ingredients. Went here every day for lunch, the reuben sandwich was great and so were the different breakfast options. They have sandwiches, english muffins, bagels etc.

Great place to eat a sandwich before the beach or grab it on the go. All of the meats are cured in-house, which is what makes the sandwiches so good. The bread is locally sourced from a nearby bakery. The owner herself makes you the sandwiches and it is evident she takes pride in her product.

You can add additional veggies to the sandwiches and change sauces based on your taste. I had the muffalatta sandwich with the Greek salad dressing and it was delicious. My husband had the pastrami sandwich with whole grain mustard on rye bread, perfectly made.

They will also sell the meat by the kilo if you want to make your own sandwiches at home. The meats are like nothing you’ll find in any grocery store in Costa Rica. We will be coming back!

Had dinner here tonight after noticing the restaurant and hotel on a previous visit to the wildlife sanctuary. The food was very high quality and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. Some American fare and local cuisine on the menu. Drinks were also very tasty. Will likely come back during our stay.
