“A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Ocean Views”Our group of 10 had an amazing stay at this Ballena Bliss luxury villa. The spacious layout, including an adjoining casita, provided plenty of room, and the second-floor balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy true Costa Rica jungle sounds and views of the Pacific. We loved gathering and relaxing by the pool, with a bar conveniently connected to the kitchen.The location was perfect—90 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park, 50 minutes from Nauyaca Waterfalls, 30 min from Uvita Zipline and just 5 minutes to the secluded Playa Piñuela. The property manager was excellent with communication and gave great local recommendations.A fantastic spot for both relaxation and adventure!

This was our first time to Costa Rica. The accomodations exceeded our expectations. A wonderful kitchen with plenty of space to cook and an outdoor dining area overlooking the pool . The home is located next to a protected biological corridor. Plenty of wildlife to observe as you sit on the comfy couch on the top balcony. Perhaps sitting with a coffee or perhaps an early morning fruit smoothie. Harold and Cindy are wonderful hosts, providing ample information as to the best beaches, great food and different things to do and see. If you want to zipline through the rainforest that is close by too. The two casitas are perfect for a large family gathering if you need additional space.

A beautiful spot to visit in Costa Rica!!!!!
The Belena Bliss rental was located in easy driving distance from San Jose (3-4 hours driving) and was in a quiet and lovely part of CR. This home was very clean with all of the amenities as promised. The variety of birds that came to visit daily was a real highlight. We frequented many of the local towns nearby which was fun and interesting. The local restaurants were easy to find with excellent food. Access to beaches was terrific and we had a great time walking and hiking. A highlight was the local zipline through the canopy. Flying through the trees was the best 4 hours we spent in Costa Rica. Highly recommend both the rental and the locale.
Very spacious, and in a beautiful location with easy access to Uvita, Ojochal, beaches and activities.
The house and casita studio apartments can easily accommodate 10 in spacious rooms. We did family activities, but the house also accommodated privacy (like reading on the upper deck with ocean view) and working with on-line access. We much appreciated the easy access to the main highway and all that Uvita and Ojochal offer, while still being in a rainforest environment with lots of birds. The nearby beaches are gorgeous and part of the marine park.

This place was simply beautiful, cozy, peaceful and very private….
This place was simply beautiful, cozy, peaceful and very private. We all enjoyed the pool. We woke up to the sound of nature every morning. The toucan birds were in our backyard every day. The hosts were always available and responsive to our needs. Check-in and check-out were effortless.
All you need is a 4X4 vehicle and a family ready to have fun.
We are definitely going back. I recommend this place.

Excelente lugar, muy limpio, buen internet, suficiente espacio para 10 personas, camas cómodas, bien equipado.

This is a very beautiful house in a fabulous location. The view is beautiful, the house is large and very comfortable.
Check in was challenging because they told us arrive at 3 PM at the management office, which we did, but no one was there for over an hour as they went with other people to check them in first and no one was left in the office. And it was raining hard. When we got in to the house eventually, the cleaners were still there for another 3 hours, so that was weird. They also returned unannounced while we were out to go into the place to drop off towels. Again, not bad, just odd and slightly unnerving.
That said, we loved our stay. The beds are super comfortable and the home was very clean. The pool was really nice too and the grounds are very well kept. The road to the house is treacherous though, so be prepared for a very steep incline on a rough road. A tough car is a must.

Amazing Costa Rica experience in a beautiful house
Wonderful house, very clean and spacious. We loved spending time in the pool and the backyard. It had all the amenities we needed during our one-week stay. Very conveniently located near Uvita. We had an amazing time in Costa Rica and highly recommend our stay at Ballena Bliss!!

Wonderful, relaxing experience
The home is perfect for a getaway in the beautiful South Pacific region. It is well situated in town, with access to many grocery stores, restaurants, and tourist locations. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen and living areas are perfect for making the best memories. We recommend the house, specially for a big group!
