Stayed at Pacific Escape
Beautiful home. Great pool. Good value. But there are management issues as all communications with the host are through a management company that is unfamiliar with the home. On day one we were missing a key to the secondary door to the back of the house and it was a game of telephone to figure out what was wrong. To be fair, the next day maintenance was sent out in the morning and switched out the keys, but we had to go day 1 without a main door opening. The first night we also alerted the host about the advertised pool water jets, fountain, and circulation features not working. The next day we were told they were on a timer but they were not. The next day maintenance was sent to us and told us they would need to go back to the office to get the key. They never returned. Overall, it is a luxurious property with good amenities and you get nice fruits when checking in. Just be aware this is a management company host and you may have to make peace with certain smaller frustrations.

La propiedad está espectacular, está tal cual las fotos. El diseño y arquitectura están pareisimos y la casa está muy bien amueblada, todo lo necesario para cocinar, comer, servir, almacenar. La vista desde arriba es espectacular y todos los días pudimos ver halcones, monos en los árboles, mariposas azules y muchos otros durante el sendero. La recomiendo ampliamente.

La estancia en esta casa fue maravillosa, muy bien distribuida, delicadamente decorada y nos sentimos seguros en el lugar, al tiempo que estábamos a pocos minutos de restaurantes, comercios y playas. Súper recomendado.

Stayed at Casa Honu Kai
We had a wonderful stay at Honu Kai from May 11, 2026 to May 15, 2026. The home is stunning , very clean and well equipped. It truly is in the middle of the jungle and home of amazing wildlife. We saw several capuchin monkeys playing in the trees, a three toed sloth eating his lunch, a basilisk lizard that hung out by the pool with us, numerous birds and butterflies and a group of howler monkeys sitting in a tree near the house. The property lost a star due to the lack of railings on outside stairs and pool stairs. We would definitely stay at Honu Kai again. It was a vacation to remember!

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at this beautiful house in Uvita. The location was great – 5mins from the beach, lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops in direct proximity. You could easily walk to the Whale Tail for sunset which was stunning. The property has everything you could need for a relaxing stay – comfy bed and sofa, well-equipped kitchen, great BBQ, powerful shower, frosty aircon, safe off-road parking. The private pool is obviously a massive benefit, especially as the loungers were under shade and we could relax during the fierce heat of the day. The management company were very responsive and helpful at all times. There was a lovely bunch of flowers and fresh fruit left at check-in which was the icing on the cake. A perfect place! Pictures can’t explain how beautiful this property is. The wildlife, beautiful sunrises and sunsets from pool were breathtaking. Lots of room, everyone felt like they had their own space. Great communal areas including the upper gazebo we called “the dj booth” where we spent our nights playing games and star gazing. Abigail and the Osa management team went above and beyond, Very helpful for advice about the area and any questions we had about the house. From the start to the finish of our stay they were on point not missing a beat. Best experience we have had abroad. Highly recommend the property and Management team. Wir waren für drei Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, insbesondere zum Kochen war alles da was wir brauchten. Uns hat besonders der Pool und die Terrasse gefallen. In der Wohnung wurde es sehr warm, im Hauptschlafzimmer gibt es jedoch eine Klimaanlage, so dass es dort sehr angenehm war. Wir hatten ein Problem mit einem Schlüssel, der einen Tag vor der Abreise abgebrochen ist. Es wurde sich zeitnah um eine Lösung gekümmert. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Auch die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut, in der Nähe gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch der Nationalpark Ballena ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen!
