Villas and Places to Stay in Costa Rica

We had a really nice stay! The house was beautiful, clean, and the views were absolutely amazing!!!The private chef was definitely a highlight ,the food was sooo good! The hostes were also very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

I had a lovely stay here! The place was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The host was friendly and welcoming, and everything was smooth and easy from start to finish. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it! 😊

We simply loved everything! If we could, we would give you 10 stars. The booking was super easy, the communication fast and very friendly, helpful and absolutely nice. The house is fantastic, there is so much space, it’s clean, the rooms are lovely, the bathrooms outstanding beautiful (you can look in the jungle from the shower), the kitchen supply is welcoming to cook on your own and it’s peaceful, quiet, wonderful relaxing. You are very fast in Uvita and there is so much you can do. Also you don’t need a 4×4, it’s easy to get there. Don’t follow Google! You get the best direction with the host. Thank you so much, we had the most beautiful days. ❤️

Absolutely spectacular! The views, peaceful silence, and surrounding nature are unforgettable. Everything was spotless and beautifully organized, and the host was incredibly attentive. The place is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The beds are comfortable, and the lovely kitchen has everything you need. I’d come back a thousand times. Highly recommend!

Nuy lindo, y mucha privacidad

The property and management are above and beyond what anyone could need for their stay. The space is great, kitchen is highly equipped (probably the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen on AirBnB – great for hiring a chef!), outdoors are super enjoyable and the indoor outdoor experience of the house makes it perfect for groups, hanging out and having a great time. The property management team also went above and beyond providing local fruit, local coffee and being super responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The home was exactly as pictured, clean, comfortable, and the views were incredible. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We did have two minor pool issues. The waterfall stopped working, and after I reached out and we confirmed it wasn’t a timer issue, the host arranged for it to be fixed the following day. On our last night, the pool lights didn’t come on. By the time we noticed, it was already dark, and I didn’t want to bother the host that late. It was a little disappointing since the pool was such a beautiful highlight of the property. Aside from those small issues, everything was wonderful. We absolutely loved the villa and would happily stay here again! Response: Thank you so much, Cynthia, for the wonderful 5-star review! We’re so thrilled to hear that El Rey de Portalón delivered such a beautiful experience — exactly as pictured, clean, comfortable, and with those incredible views is everything we strive for with every guest. We sincerely apologize for the minor pool issues during your stay — we always want every feature of the property to be working perfectly throughout the entire visit. We’re glad our team was responsive in arranging a fix for the waterfall the following day, and please never hesitate to reach out to us at any hour — we are always happy to help! We want you to know that as a result of your feedback, our pool technician and engineer have since fully repaired and resolved both issues, so future guests will be able to enjoy the pool lights and waterfall in all their glory. We truly appreciate you bringing these details to our attention and we’re so glad that overall you absolutely loved the villa and would happily stay again! Amazing place. We loved it so much we had to extend 2 more night. Perfect for birdwatching. Very quiet area. Truly a gem. Thank you to osa property management for the great experience and service.

Amazing stay, we had an incredible time and would love to stay again someday

The house was beautiful, exactly as pictured. And Osa were wonderful hosts. Their onsite concierge, Gary, was also great to work with and was very kind, attentive and helpful.

The house was absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. Would absolutely go back to stay at that property. Pool area was super nice.
