La ubicación perfecta, la casa muy bonita, pero atrás hay muchos árboles y se hace muchísima basura en la piscina el corredor trasero y el patio. Muchísima humedad. Y tiene un sensor de ruido en la Cosina que no se puede ni hablar porque ya le están escribiendo por el ruido. We also completely understand that the high humidity can be a surprise for guests unfamiliar with Costa Rica’s tropical climate during this time of year. Regarding the noise sensor, we want to clarify for future guests that our system is set to alert at 85 decibels — the equivalent of a very loud music ("85 dB marks the official threshold where sounds begin to cause permanent hearing damage with prolonged exposure") — and is not sensitive to normal talking or everyday household sounds. We regret that this caused any anxiety during your stay and we will look at how we can better communicate this to guests in advance so there are no surprises. What a beautiful house to stay in, felt very lucky to wake up to all that beautiful sunlight spilling in through all the windows and the pool was a life saver in the Costa Rican heat! Great location to be able to go off and explore all the main highlights in the area, everything seemed to be within 30 mins in a car which was ideal with the kids! Would definitely recommend, if I had to put a negative, I would say the main road - you can hear heavy traffic when going to sleep but it didn’t keep us awake, we would blame the wildlife more for that but could never complain, all part of Costa Rican life! Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sehr geräumig. Der Außenbereich war sehr schön. Leider ist eine Hauptstraße in der Nähe dieser laut ist. Zudem ist fast direkt daneben aktuell eine Baustelle die tagsüber sich sehr laut war. Ansonsten waren wir aber sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. La pasamos súper bien! La casa está igual que en las fotos. Camas muy cómodas. Zonas comunes amplias, todo se ve nuevo. Seguro que volveremos pronto.

This house was private…. Secured…. And that’s what my family and I were looking for…the pool, the ammetties, ,,,, were perfect…. Awesome space for the 5 of us……. Beaches were well within reach.. and they were amazing…. Kids and my wife were so happy……… I love the set up of this house….. I plan to come back again and would definitely stay here in beautiful Uvita!!!

This was a great property for our time in Uvita - close to shops and restaurants, and not far from the beach. The property management company was very quick to respond to the couple of issues that came up (with the entry gate and the kitchen sink), and fixed the problems promptly. The property was clean and spacious, and we loved the pool!

La estadía fue realmente agradable. La casa es muy cómoda y está equipada con todos los implementos necesarios para cocinar y disfrutar momentos especiales. Su ubicación es excelente, ya que se encuentra cerca de la playa, supermercados y restaurantes, lo que facilita mucho el acceso a diferentes actividades. Disfrutamos de un ambiente privado y espacioso, ideal para descansar. Las camas son extremadamente cómodas, lo que garantiza un sueño reparador. Mi hijo de 6 años quedó encantado con la experiencia, y estamos seguros de que volveremos en el futuro.

La casa nos gustó mucho, una de las cosas que más disfrutamos es que el lugar está cercado en su totalidad ya que llevamos mascotas y eso representa seguridad para nosotros. Con respecto a la piscina es pequeña, ya que tiene una división para chapoteadero para niños. Algo que nos faltó fueron utensilios de cocina básicos, como ollas grandes, abrelatas, no había trapos para limpieza y no había mopa para limpiar los pisos, cosas que consideramos necesaria para una larga estancia. Nos hubiera gustado un poco más de flexibilidad a la hora de llegada, ya que solicitamos llegar 3 horas antes de lo establecido pero tenía un cargo adicional, entendemos las políticas pero igual 1 hora pudo hacer una gran diferencia. En general bastante bien la estancia, la persona con la que teníamos comunicación siempre estuvo al pendiente, recomendable el lugar. La casa muy bien ubicada en Uvita, en un punto muy estratégico. Excelentes condiciones de limpieza, orden y comodidades. Las áreas comunes y de la piscina muy convenientes para el disfrute de toda la familia. El anfitrión muy amable y preocupado, siempre atendió a todas nuestras consultas y requerimientos casi de inmediato. Excelente comunicación y trato.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Osa Team war jederzeit schnell und zuverlässig – wir konnten auch unkompliziert Fragen zu Aktivitäten stellen. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und das Haus bietet viel Platz sowie alles, was man braucht. Weniger angenehm war jedoch, dass direkt neben dem Haus ein neues Gebäude gebaut wird. Dadurch kam es teils zu erheblichem Baulärm – leider auch während der Nacht. Auch die Zufahrtsstraße ist in sehr schlechtem Zustand, was die Anfahrt deutlich erschwert. Es fiel einmal in der gesamten Gegend für etwa 2–3 Std. der Strom aus. Was man wissen sollte: Es wird ein Depot von 500 USD verlangt. Alternativ kann man auf das Depot verzichten, zahlt dann aber eine Gebühr von ca. 45 USD. Entscheidet man sich für das Depot, fällt trotzdem eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 15 USD an – das empfinden wir nicht besonders kundenfreundlich. Die Unterkunft an sich ist schön, doch angesichts des Preises von 200 USD pro Nacht ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gegeben. Response: Hola Raji! We stayed for about six days after walking El Camino de Costa Rica and at the end of April 2025. The location, despite along a major traffic way, was ideal. Uvita is an amazling little oasis with fantastic restaurants, groceries, banks and quaint shops within distance. The property is well maintained and very clean, Osa Property management was superb in helping us find the property and gaining entrance. Nick was super pleasant. I would surely stay here again!

Excelente lugar, la casa preciosa, las playas de lo mejor que hay en el país, la piscina de la casa muy bonita, el lugar muy bien ubicado cerca de las playas, supermercados en fin de todo lo que necesitábamos.. 100% recomendado.

This is a great place to stay for friends and family at Uvita. There were some minor hickups, like setting the timer for jets in the pool, hot water not working due to trip on the fuse board. But every time we reached out to the property manager, they would respond in minutes and send out a technician quickly to address them. The location is fantastic, with drives to the beaches, restaurants and groceries within minutes. There are ACs in every room, including the living room, which was a blessing during hot afternoons. The pool is awesome, especially for kids. The property was maintained very clean and security is top notch with access control for both the property as well as the main door.

Una casa muy linda y cómoda.

Il était noté dans le descriptif que la maison offrait la tranquillité au bord d une rivière sereine , ce n est pas le cas . Elle est près d une route très fréquentée et très bruyante . Même enfermés à l intérieur, nous avons été très gênés par le bruit des voitures et des camions la nuit , le matin et la journée. Malgré tout la maison est très belle avec des prestations de qualité .

La casa muy linda, tal cual se muestra en las fotos. La limpieza súper bien, cerca de todo, muy atento en anfitrión. Lo único es que el Internet es malo.

We spent a week in a group of 6 people. Large and cozy living room, there was enough space for everyone. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, there is a washing machine and dryer, which was very helpful for a beach holiday. We liked the many board games for every taste. The style of the house is very interesting and beautiful. The pool was also cleaned regularly. The location of the house to restaurants, shops and coffee shops - you can't imagine better. The nearest beach is 5 minutes away. Waterfalls and parks are also close. The owner was very responsive and responded quickly. Air conditioning in each room. There are flowers in the backyard where hummingbirds fly every morning. Of the minuses - I would like to replace some kitchen utensils, for example, frying pans. Overall, that was a great stay!

La casa es igual que en las fotos. Nos encantó demasiado. La arquitectura de la casa es bella, amamos los baños y la cocina, también la piscina con su fuente. Super buena si viajan con mascotas ya que se encuentra cerrada alrededor y no hay peligro de que las mascotas puedan escapar. Nos dejaron muchas cositas de bienvenida que los hizo diferente a otros airbnb’s, muy atentos. Si teníamos algún problema siempre respondían rápido.

very nice place perfect, to move around Uvita and close to a lot of beaches, the place is top with pretty good furniture and kitchen utensils just to use it and cook, the pool looks very good with the lights, the beds were very comfortable, and the AC works very well

As a group of 4, we really enjoyed the pool and kitchen here. The location was great and the home felt very safe. Our cons were that there was hardly any furniture besides the bare minimum. For example, no nightstands in the 2 smaller bedrooms and zero decorations. The furniture that was there was so uncomfortable. There were only two pillows per bedroom and they seemed like there were stuffed with rocks- lumpy and uncomfortable. There were no extra pillows or sheets. The house was fine for a 4 night stay but it felt cheap and if they put in a small amount of effort to make it more homey, this place would be perfect! Like I said we greatly enjoyed the pool and the host was responsive but didn’t nag at all. We didn’t have to reach out for anything during our stay as we had everything we needed. I would probably look elsewhere for my next stay in Uvita due to those reasons but this was a fine affordable option. Response: Samantha - thank you for your feedback. Villa Eco del Río is just an amazing place. During our stay, we really enjoyed all amenities available. The location is perfect, 5 min drive almost to everything (near to the beaches, super markets, restaurants, even a bank if you need it). This place is Pet Fiendly which is great. The property itself was beautifully maintained, with clean and spacious rooms that had all the amenities we needed. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the easy access to local attractions. Overall, a fantastic experience and we can't wait to come back!"

Amazing stay! Just like in the pictures, close to the beach and to the Marino Ballena national park. House is right next to the main road but even with that, there’s little to no noise that disturbs while sleeping!

La casa es súper cómoda y tal cual las fotografías, para tomar en cuenta la electricidad se va muy seguido y el último día el internet fallo después de un apagón y no llego más. El administrador cobra un tipo “seguro” de $45 que no te indican antes de reservar y no se paga a través de airbnb, no me parece esa medida. Response: Hola Oscar! The Damage Waiver is clearly disclosed in the House Rules in Airbnb - be sure to read those BEFORE booking a reservation in Airbnb. We would recommend you take the time to read those. Casa moderna muy bonita , agradable. Muy atentos y cordiales en toda la estadía .

The home was perfect. Wells suited for our family with 2 grown children, so plenty of room. Pool was awesome - loved having the sound and look of the pool fountain going so we asked if they could leave it on longer and they did. They were so much help with everything from car rental, dining suggestions, to navigating excursions. They bought 2 more beach chairs and brought to our house at no extra charge - we bought a beach umbrella and gifted it to the house for next person. Our only problem was the constant loud noise from the near by busy road.

Esta casa es hermosa, justo como se ve en las fotos. Ubicada en el puro centro de Uvita. Muy cómoda, nueva y limpia. Super bien equipada. Recomendable al 100% para grupos de 4 o 6 personas.

Our recent stay at this lovely home was an absolute DREAM from start to finish. The key highlight of this property was its prime location. Positioned conveniently close to all essential amenities and attractions, it allowed us to effortlessly explore Costa Rica and still be able to return to recharge. Our kids have food allergies and the management ensured that everything at home was safe for our kiddos which we truly appreciated. Attention to details/amenities left us wanting for nothing - whatever we needed, it was there. Initially we were apprehensive due to the listing being brand new with limited reviews, but the management and the listing proved to be exceptionally reliable and proactive. Our kids LOVED the swimming pool. It was cleaned regularly and we loved that kids had their own little section. Despite the property's proximity to the bustling surroundings, home provides a sense of peace and tranquility. In conclusion, undeniably WORTH IT! Thank you so much!

Exactly as expected. The temperature was perfect, hummingbirds in the garden all day, all the amenities , fantastic pool with waterfall and changing lights! I would recommend it to everyone.
