This property was outstanding, from the amenities to the view and everything else, including the wildlife (iguanas, scarlet macaws and tones of big and small birds). The infinity pool had the best view of the whole region and the ocean. The owner was helping us with every little thing. The property is in a secluded, gated community and very safe and well manicured. We had other parties picking us up for different tours. They even provide a personal chef that came and cooked and served a dinner right at home. They have a personal concierge that helps with every little thing you want to book in CR right from when you click book on airbnb. Outstanding property and team. Thank you OSA.

Our group of nine people had one of the most fantastic vacations ever! The home is beautiful with spectacular views. Gary (our concierge) was awesome! He took care of arranging everything we did-from car rental to dinner reservations to all excursions (lots of them)!!! Thanks you for everything and we look forward to visiting again. Pura Vida!

House was great. More than we needed but it's was great haveming the extra space. The views were amazing. Concierge was helpful. Was just disappointed that the pictures didn't match the landscaping. The landscaping was not managed and everything was dead. They back yard also had empty beer cans, pool equipment and full trash bags from pervious renters that were never cleaned up. The plastic pool cups were all full of mold and water. Besides that the house was clean and tidy

Amazing airbnb! Pictures did not do it justice. If you’re renter here ill advise you to have ride arrangements coordinated in advance because it is on the top of a mountain and very hard to get to by normal vehicle. You will need a 4x4 to reach the top. Walking down wasnt the worst but some of my party couldnt make the hike back up. The view is stunning and definitely worth the journey up the mountain. I would return and do recommend.

Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this house is. You will be in awe as soon as you walk inside, the house was spotless clean, spacious and welcoming. We went with our 3 boys, who loved the space, the pool, and most importantly all the beautiful animals we spotted. We saw macaws, toucans, iguanas. We loved the accessibility too to Jaco, herradura and we truly enjoyed playa Blanca in punta Leona ( you can request access here ahead of time) it’s a beautiful white sand beach, where we spotted so many monkeys. This is a place worth staying and going back to. Pura Vida 🇨🇷❤️

The villa was spotless, luxurious, and fully equipped with everything you need to relax in total privacy. Secluded yet convenient, it’s about a 15-minute drive to stores and restaurants. The views are breathtaking from every corner, especially the pool and balcony, serenaded by birds and the wildlife create a true nature-lover’s paradise. Nestled in the mountains, surrounded by pure nature you’ll encounter harmless local residents like iguanas, ants, and Melipona bees; please don’t harm them, as they’re vital to the ecosystem. The road up is well-paved, the incline drive similar to a U.S mountain cabin. The Osa Property Management team was exceptional, meeting us at the gate and ensuring a smooth stay. If peace, privacy, and natural beauty are what you seek Casa Majestica is perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Majestica. The view was absolutely incredible, exactly as pictured. We saw quite a bit of wildlife from the house and neighborhood including Toucans, Macaws, Iguanas, Wild Piggies (or so we think), and more! Our host was always responsive and very helpful. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Beautiful house with spectacular views. Location is on top of mountain so it is a little rough to get to but well worth it. House is clean and prepared well for your stay with everything you’ll need. There were a few hiccups with power and water but owners were responsive and helped in anyway possible… and just again the views from the house I would say once in a lifetime but I do plan on returning

Casa Majestica is more than Majestic, It’s Perfect!
The location is unbeatable. Steep drive up the mountain estates yields all the benefits. The view is unmatched. It sits in the middle of the rainforest near Tarcoles and has so much wildlife around it, we were astounded! A Tayra right next to the swimming pool one morning (a rare site for mammal lovers), many red macaws flying around the house all the time, toucan, a bird watcher's dream! All the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Our group was well taken care of by Osa Property Management from beginning to end. Near Jaco for grocery runs if necessary. Great location for daily outings of all kinds. Super bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and common area! Laundry facilities, so we could reuse clothing and not pack as much. I can't stop raving about Casa Majestica. My best experience in Central America to date!

Our stay at Casa Majestica was fabulous. We arrived late due to an accident (landslide) on Rt 1. But Hector met us at the gate and led us up the road to the property. Note: The road is paved, but steep in parts. We had an SUV and Truck and both made it up with no issues. At first, your thinking, oh no! Where are we going? Then you arrive, and the view and privacy of the home are well worth the adventure. By day 2, I had mastered driving up the hill! Casa Majestica was perfect for our party of adults.
Our only concerns with the house was the waterfall shower heads did not work correctly in 2 of the bathrooms. The water outlet holes were most likely blocked by corrosion or mineral sediment. I would just get rid of them.
The propane bottle in the grill was empty but the house manager was quick to get us a new bottle!
Would definitely stay here again!
FYI, a resident bat is living in the alcove to the laundry room. It didn't bother us so we didn't bother it!

We recently stayed at this property for a family trip. The house itself was absolutely beautiful! The views were amazing, rooms were clean and spacious and the downstairs common area was very homey. The hosts were very responsive. Any issues we had, they would try to resolve it right away. Their checking was very easy and checkout as well. They had great recommendations for restaurants and tours. They even had great recommendations for a private chef that we got to enjoy as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this property.

This is a magical villa atop a mountain but close to the beaches of Tarcoles and Jaco as well as the San Jose airport. The house and grounds are spacious, comfortable and the art work reflects Costa Rican culture.
