Es una propiedad increíble, la zona de parrilla / piscina esta súper bien equipada, privada y la disfrutamos mucho. La cocina es amplia y tiene todo lo que se ocupa para hacer comida para el día. La casa es de muy facil acceso, céntrica cerca de todo pero a la vez muy tranquila. Amazing stay, we had an incredible time and would love to stay again someday

La casa es perfecta, fresca, en un barrio tranquilo. Se siente privado pero íntimo. Tiene todos los utensilios necesarios para preparar cualquier comida. Los ambientes bien distribuidos, la piscina amplia y la terraza fresca. La zona de parrillada es perfecta. Nos dejaron deliciosas frutas de temporada ❤️. Los detalles de madera natural permiten que a pesar de ser muy moderna, la casa tenga sensación de hogar. Valoramos mucho el tiempo que pasamos acá. Como llueve bastante en esta época es indispensable un espacio agradable y acogedor. La playa está a 3-4 cuadras. Se camina fácilmente a la entrada principal del parque nacional. Un éxito total haber rentado este espacio.

Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay at the Casalita Catalina. Evertyhing is well tought. For us it started outside; we loved the pool with its outside kitchen, counter, shower and a private outside bathroom. No reason to be inside! 🙂 Inside, we had everything that we needed and more. The two bedrooms with adjacent bathroom made it really easy for us. The casalita is also well situated, we were walking to the beach and enjoying some of the surrounding restaurants. It was very nice and feeling like at home stay. Private pool is amazing to have and enjoy. Property was perfect for three of us . Beautiful property, clean and well equipped. Good location, the pool and bbq area is a big bonus. The only downside is the hot water is run from solar so we had a few cloudy days and cold showers. Ok for us but a little cold for our children, nothing major!

We had a great stay at Casita Catalina, which is walking distance to the beach. It has a great pool, AC, and fast wifi. The two-suite layout works well for a family. Host communication was great, very responsive, with clear check-in instructions well ahead of arrival. Everything went smoothly. We were especially grateful for the host connecting us with a local transportation service we wouldn't have been able to find on our own. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Cassita. Tout était parfait et corresponds exactement aux images. Secteur tranquille et très paisible. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité tout au long de notre séjour. Beaucoup de bon petits restaurants à distance de marché dont le Kinsu, le Nativo ainsi que le Boba La Ballena. Plus traditionnel La Flore de Bahía était aussi très bien. Côté plage c’était aussi parfait. Marcher pour s’y rendre, la plage Chaman est un secteur du parc de Marino Ballena donc payant mais tellement belle, ça vaut vraiment la peine. Nous avons adoré nos journées. Et que dire de la petite piscine; parfaite pour les fins d’après-midi. Nous y avons vu beaucoup d’oiseaux, des toucans, des perroquets ainsi que des chevaux. Beautiful house with all of the amenities. It was great having a grill and a pool and a comfortable outdoor space protected from the rain. We spent a wonderful 5 nights at this beautiful house in Uvita. The location was great - 5mins from the beach, lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops in direct proximity. You could easily walk to the Whale Tail for sunset which was stunning. The property has everything you could need for a relaxing stay - comfy bed and sofa, well-equipped kitchen, great BBQ, powerful shower, frosty aircon, safe off-road parking. The private pool is obviously a massive benefit, especially as the loungers were under shade and we could relax during the fierce heat of the day. The management company were very responsive and helpful at all times. There was a lovely bunch of flowers and fresh fruit left at check-in which was the icing on the cake. A perfect place! Magnifique maison lumineuse avec un extérieur très invitant. La piscine est plus petite que sur les photos mais très agréable quand même! Le plat de fruits, les fleurs et le café ont eu un effet « Wow » dès notre arrivée. Tout sentait bon aussi! La communication était excellente et ce fut très facile d’accéder à la maison. La plage Chaman est accessible à pied (entrée payante). Nous avons adoré l’aspect un peu sauvage des environs de la maison et le petit sentier parallèle à la plage rempli de singes capucins. Pour deux couples, les chambres étaient semblables avec chacune une salle de bain complète attenante à la chambre. Un matelas est à changer cependant dans l’une d’elle car le matelas creuse et le lit craque beaucoup. Suite à ce commentaire, la gestionnaire a répondu avec beaucoup de gentillesse et transmettra nos remarques au propriétaire. À part cela, nous avons tout aimé de la maison et d’Uvita! Great location just a 10 minute walk to Playa Chaman. We loved the comfy living room and beautiful bathrooms, and the home had all the amenities we needed for a stress-free stay. Lots of towels, pillows, comfy linens, and the high ceilings give the house a spacious feel. We loved doing yoga out by the pool and wish we had more time to make use of the BBQ area. We loved our stay here, the villa is so comfortable and pretty. The layout feels so spacious and the area is quiet, despite being near shops, restaurants and tour operations Would definitely stay again

The place was great! We had a few small hiccups but that’s Costa Rica and the management was on top of everything and very responsive! We loved the privacy and the pool and the covered seating are. Also had a daily visitor cat that was fun to visit with and a sweetheart! It was nice to have the security gate. They helped us book a private chef Ronny that was amazing! I highly recommend him and his wife! I also highly recommend staying here. It was truly a sanctuary!

We had an incredible time in Uvita and thoroughly enjoyed have this beautiful space to call home while we were there. The pool was nice and felt very private. Everything was very clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed, including pool towels. The host was very responsive both before and during our stay to answer any questions. Hope to come back soon! Loved walking to the beach for sunsets and walking to neighborhood restaurants for any meal. (Kinsu and Thai Bar were our favorites!)

We had a wonderful stay. The pool is great for cooling off any time right at your doorstep. Patio area was lovely to hang out in, rain or shine. Host was very responsive and helpful. Als wir das Haus betreten waren wir gleich begeistert, es war alles super sauber und man konnte sich wie Zuhause fühlen. Draussen ein kleiner aber sehr schöner und gepflegter Pool, den wir sehr oft nach unseren Ausflügen genutzt haben um uns zu erfrischen. 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt ist der atemberaubend schöne und riesige Strand, so dass wir für Strandbesuche und gebuchte Ausflüge nicht mit dem Auto fahren mussten. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten die wir anmerken und verbessern würden wäre Qualität und Bequemlichkeit der Betten. Diese Knarren laut sobald man sich bewegt und die Matratzen sind nicht wirklich bequem. Der Trockner ließ sich nur schwerfällig bedienen dass man dachte man reist den Einstellknopf ab. Es wurde uns sehr schnell geholfen, aber mit einer entsprechenden Beschreibung am Gerät wäre einfacher. Unbedingt die Online Anleitung vom safe lesen!

Everything was perfect!

An amazing location near the beach in Uvita! Fully stocked kitchen, (and outdoor one), super nice pool, amazing bathrooms. Very well organized and easy communication 🙂 (Beds are a bit hard).

We had a lovely stay at this property in Uvita. The kitchen was fully equipped, the outdoor grill was perfect for meals, and the pool was very refreshing during the warm days. We loved being close to the beach for walks, and the nature nearby made the it feel extra special. The house was spotless, and the thoughtful touch of fresh fruit and coffee after our long journey was much appreciated! The only small challenge we experienced was with the WiFi after a rainstorm. We understand that’s typical for the area, but mentioning it in case future guests plan to rely on it for work, as we did. Overall a great experience, thank you for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The Airbnb exceeded our expectations and that almost never happens! Plenty of room and my personal opinion is the photos don't do it justice!! 8 min walk to beach and lots of great restaurants nearby.

Muy buen lugar, muy amables y buena ubicación

Osa Property management team was fantastic. We loved our stay in this beautiful home and this town is so very special but it was also full of excitement. The house is on a gravel side road Calle La Pista. We had a bit of hard time but if you see Cabinas de Castro it’s across the street from Calle la Pista. We lost power upon check in and the Osa team were quick to help us locate flashlights and report the outage. Luckily the safe is battery but the exterior gate is electric so I asked for a manual override key so we could still get out & they came the next morning to help. After all that when we came back from the beach the following day we were locked out due to loss of power w/ the manual override key inside the property. Lol! The power typically returns in 20 minutes. Hot water is wonderful and solar powered so be sure to shower before doing laundry. Even set to cold the wash machine used hot water. Great little spot in Uvita!

The house and its location was all that we could’ve asked for and more! The house was equipped with everything we needed, including cooking utensils, toiletries, and beach towels. This property was in a great location. Within walking distance from the beach and some restaurants. We loved the local feel and watching the surfers on the beach. The house itself was private and clean. The pool was an awesome perk and we loved hanging in the backyard. We noticed in the description it said the pool would be cleaned twice a week but we didn't know when the cleaner would show up. He randomly opened he gate one day and we were slightly nervous but he was quick and very nice! We also saw plenty of wildlife there and the birds even peck on the windows to get in so don't let that scare you 🙂 It is slightly down a gravel road with a few pot holes but just take it slow and you will be fine. We had a fantastic stay here! The house was beautiful, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is about an 8-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. There are at least four great little restaurants within walking distance, so going out for a meal was always convenient (highly recommend the empanada place!). After days spent at the beach or exploring the area, the private pool was the perfect place to relax. Honestly, we almost hate to leave such a good review because we would love for this house to still be available next time we come back. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay, the house is beautifully designed and we particularly loved the pool and outdoor living area. There’s also an option to use the outdoor bbq, shower and bathroom. The home was perfectly located close to the beach and restaurants, with a mini mart near by. It was also easy to find as it’s listed on google maps (genius!) The property management company was extremely responsive and proactively reached out to see if they could assist us with anything. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Uvita and we hope to make it back some day.

This is a great airbnb if you are looking for walkabililty and privacy. It's a 10 minute walk to Playa Chaman, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. We came here to enjoy the coast for a few days and to go scuba diving. The dive shop, costa rica dive and surf is a short 5 minute drive from this property, very convenient! We loved the pool and the covered outdoor living space at this property. It was a great way to cool off on a hot day, without having to be inside! We would stay here again. Highly recommend! This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica! What a beautiful space in a walkable community. We loved the pool and the patio space. It was nice to have a washer and drier and the showers made us feel like we were at a spa. They even left us fresh fruit, cookies and coffee.

Had a great stay. The casita is very comfortable with high quality appliances and furniture. The hosts were proactive and prompt with communication. The beach (Marina Ballena) is beautiful. However, it is $6 per person/day for non-residents, which can add up.

My partner and I loved the house, the pool, the bbq area, having a kitchen, it felt like home! I enjoyed the water pressure in the shower and there are three toilets including the one by the pool, so that's nice for a family. 7 minute walk to the beach, we entered for free three times, and paid twice, so it was kinda random. 30 minutes walk from Bahia Ballena national park, we found a local super market with everything 15 min walk. The house and street felt safe, it was clean too, it looks even better in person than on the photos, and finally some nice towels!!! I recommend it!

My partner and I had a fabulous stay here. When we weren’t at the beach, this stay was its own little sanctuary! We loved the pool, outdoor spaces and appreciated the well stocked kitchen appliances since we cooked most of our meals at the house. We enjoyed all of the thoughtful details that were created to make us feel welcomed; even fresh fruits and coffee! The host was extremely responsive and kind. I will definitely visit again.

Wonderful place to stay. They did require a $500 deposit or purchase of $45 insurance to stay here in addition to the rental fees, which I had not noticed in the rental ad. The house is beautiful and close to a beach, but the beach does cost $6.78 per person per day for park entrance fees. Lots to do in the area as far as tours and outdoor activities. Very quiet and relaxing stay. I would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

This was a surprise for my wife’s Birthday, and I’m happy I choose this property!!! My wife and I describe it as paradise , it is the most beautiful well equipped private property we have ever stayed in!! Our Host was most gracious and helpful towards all our needs ensuring a wonderful birthday for my wife. Everyone we met were super friendly and welcoming the area has some of the best restaurants I’ve been to and nothing can beat that early morning walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. Needless to say we will be returning in the near future and staying at the property again . I highly recommend to anyone one looking for the perfect paradise oasis.

Casita Catalina was great! Beautiful place and just a few minutes away from the National Park. Communication with the host was excellent!

Great location. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Short driving distance to supermarkets and other points of interest. Lovely outdoor area with pool and bbq. The inside space is small but you can make it work with 2 people max. The kitchen/living area was a bit uncomfortable for 4 of us to share. Things to note: there is nonstop construction right next door. We experienced construction noise from 6am-6pm, including weekends. There is nothing that the host can do on this end, but should be disclosed on the Airbnb listing for transparency. Host was very responsive prior to our check-in, however, when we encountered some challenges and reached out to the host during our stay and post check-out, they read all our messages via Airbnb, but stayed silent and never responded to our concerns.

Our stay was amazing, beautiful clean and modern home tucked back off of the main roads. A 7 minute stroll to one of the most pristine beaches in Costa Rica. Cool plunge pool to relax in after a long day of exploring. A/C in every room, hot water in the shower, honestly I can’t find a single complaint other than nights wasn’t enough.

We had a wonderful time. The pool and bbq were a great touch, the layout of the house is very functional, the AC was a welcome luxury in the Uvita heat!

This place was the perfect landing pad for our tropical vacation. We were two couples, each with a baby, and this place was ideal for us for so many reasons. The AC was super valuable, as we didn’t realize how much the heat would sap our energy. With babies, having a pool to hang out in during nap time was clutch. Being able to walk to the beach and several restaurants was so nice because we didn’t need pile into a car every time we wanted a smoothie or a beer. The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen implements. The property management company was quick to respond to questions and requests. We were even able to rent two cribs for the week which they had all set up for us when we arrived. It also felt very private and calm- the only noise you could really hear was the scarlet macaws hanging out in the nearby trees! We would happily return to this Airbnb, it is an excellent option for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Uvita.

What a place! The beach at Uvita took 10mins to walk, there were local restaurants en route, as well as surf board hire. The house was immaculate, and the pool glorious. This was by far the best house of our trip so far. The only downside is that we had to leave.

Great house in a great location. Everything worked perfectly. We were a half mile from the beach. Nice local restaurants within walking distance. Did not have the tourist feel. We love cooking at the house and the pool was a great place for the end of the day, and first thing in the morning! I would definitely stay again

We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. We would surf every evening till the sun went down and sometimes picked up take out on our way home. The pool was perfect for my two kids. Scarlet macaws and fiery-billed Aracari would visit daily in the back yard. The neighbor hood was peaceful, not the party scene as in other places in town. Very family friendly. The house had most amenities but the kitchen was a bit under supplied. If you were planning on cooking a nice meal you may be frustrated with the lack of a few utensils and extremely dull knives. We utilized the restaurants close by. There were several within walking distance and several more only a 5-10 min drive away. The property manager for this unit did a decent job with communication prior to our visit. They also were very responsive to our requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Très belle maison, d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien située pour se reposer quelques jours. Tout le nécessaire est accessible à pied : restaurants, supérette, plage (payante, mais elle vaut le détour). La maison en est elle-même est vraiment très agréable, très bien équipée (il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner) et la piscine est juste parfaite. On espère pouvoir y retourner un jour !

Excelente ubicacion, se puede ir caminando al Parque Nacional al sector de playa chaman, de las mejores playas de la zona. Muy seguro para ir con su mascota. La cocina muy completa con todos sus utensilios y todo funciona correctamente. La piscina esta perfecta. Excelente comunicacion, siempre atentos a que todo estuviera en orden. Todo estuvo super bien.

This is not a party area of CR and is perfect for those seeking a quiet vacation with easy access to all kinds of nature parks and animals. Lots of birds signing every morning was a bonus for us. Lastly host Nicholas is knowledgeable friendly and efficient.

Recomendada para familias pequeñas o parejas. Los restaurantes, supermercados y bancos están a menos de 2 kilómetros y la comida muy buena y precios justos.

Our experience at Casa Loros Rojos was undoubtedly perfect. Since the house is located in a very quiet place, close to everything (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, main road, etc.) as well as easy access for any type of car. I absolutely love this property! Perfectly located in Uvita and walking distance to a couple of restaurants and the beach/National Park. I used the swimming pool daily to refresh and to relax. I will be back!

We enjoyed our time in this beautiful Casita very much. It was very clean, well equipped with attention to details that made our stay very pleasant. A perfect place to stay! We would recommend is to make it easier to find the casita since the address was not explicitly given. Also, understanding the security system and enter the building for the first time was not easy.
