Magnifique maison lumineuse avec un extérieur très invitant. La piscine est plus petite que sur les photos mais très agréable quand même! Le plat de fruits, les fleurs et le café ont eu un effet « Wow » dès notre arrivée. Tout sentait bon aussi!
La communication était excellente et ce fut très facile d’accéder à la maison. La plage Chaman est accessible à pied (entrée payante).
Nous avons adoré l’aspect un peu sauvage des environs de la maison et le petit sentier parallèle à la plage rempli de singes capucins.
Pour deux couples, les chambres étaient semblables avec chacune une salle de bain complète attenante à la chambre. Un matelas est à changer cependant dans l’une d’elle car le matelas creuse et le lit craque beaucoup.
Suite à ce commentaire, la gestionnaire a répondu avec beaucoup de gentillesse et transmettra nos remarques au propriétaire. À part cela, nous avons tout aimé de la maison et d’Uvita!

Great location just a 10 minute walk to Playa Chaman. We loved the comfy living room and beautiful bathrooms, and the home had all the amenities we needed for a stress-free stay. Lots of towels, pillows, comfy linens, and the high ceilings give the house a spacious feel. We loved doing yoga out by the pool and wish we had more time to make use of the BBQ area. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice property, very well designed and thought of and with a great attention to details. Located very close to the beach which is part of the national parc which is why the access is not free ($6.8 USD / person) and local restaurants. You can take advantage of affordable surfing lessons on the spot if you ask around. The restaurants suggestions from the property guest book is worth trying, we found La Choza De Alejo a very good one and close by with the car.

This is a great house in a great location. Beautifully appointed and had everything you would want in it. Nice set of pots and non stick pans, sharp knives, food storage containers, even a cooler to take to the beach!
Little hiccup upon checking in and accessing the house initially but smooth sailing after. Great spot near everything but not on the main drag. Would stay here again.

Perfect Beach Getaway
Pictures did not do this house and property justice. Amazing home, great amenities, perfect location and just the right amount of space. We had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day, walked to the beach each evening to watch the sunset (safe area), and enjoyed a few swims in the pool. We are already planning our next visit to CR and we will book this unit again (hopefully it will be available.)

Comfortable home in a great location. 10 minute walk to beach. Restaurants walkable and mini mercado as well. Pool was great to come back to and chill after a day at the beach or exploring nearby attractions. Would come back and highly recommend.

The Casita Catalina is totally worth spending a few days…
The Casita Catalina is totally worth spending a few days while enjoying Uvita and its surroundings! You will find a very well equipped house kitchen in case you want to dine at home - thanks to the grill beside the pool it should an option nr. 1! The pool provides you with a possibility to cool yourself at any moment and even take some son baths. The beach is near, the surroundings are quiet and the ACs are working properly.

The finishings are nice, furniture is getting a bit worn out it seems.
It really is only like a kilometre or less walk to the beach, which is paid, but sooo beautiful. Probably my favourite beach of Costa Rica.
The property management team is super communicative and quick to respond. Some things around the house could use a little maintenance, but overall was a lovely place to be for our week in Uvita.

Modern comfortable house in local neighborhood within walking distance to the most pristine beach. Very walkable for this area. Great for a low key beach town stay. AC in bedrooms was a life saver.
Would note that you have to pay for the beach but it’s only $6/day since it’s a protected park but 100% worth it.
Only downside was that water from faucets and fridge was very murky and did not feel drinkable so would pick up some drinking water at the local BM.

Great house in a great location. Everything worked perfectly. We were a half mile from the beach. Nice local restaurants within walking distance. Did not have the tourist feel. Great beach get away
We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. We would surf every evening till the sun went down and sometimes picked up take out on our way home. The pool was perfect for my two kids. Scarlet macaws and fiery-billed Aracari would visit daily in the back yard. The neighbor hood was peaceful, not the party scene as in other places in town. Very family friendly. The house had most amenities but the kitchen was a bit under supplied. If you were planning on cooking a nice meal you may be frustrated with the lack of a few utensils and extremely dull knives. We utilized the restaurants close by. There were several within walking distance and several more only a 5-10 min drive away. The property manager for this unit did a decent job with communication prior to our visit. They also were very responsive to our requests. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and well decorated. It is small inside but the covered outdoor space doubles the living space. The kitchen has most things but we were surprised there was no dish soap or staples like salt and pepper. This meant we had to buy some and then leave it.
Bedrooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The beds are quite hard and need toppers to make it perfect. The bathrooms were beautiful as well with great water pressure!

Très belle maison, d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien située pour se reposer quelques jours. Tout le nécessaire est accessible à pied : restaurants, supérette, plage (payante, mais elle vaut le détour). La maison en est elle-même est vraiment très agréable, très bien équipée (il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner) et la piscine est juste parfaite. On espère pouvoir y retourner un jour !

Excelente ubicacion, se puede ir caminando al Parque Nacional al sector de playa chaman, de las mejores playas de la zona. Muy seguro para ir con su mascota. La cocina muy completa con todos sus utensilios y todo funciona correctamente. La piscina esta perfecta. Excelente comunicacion, siempre atentos a que todo estuviera en orden. Todo estuvo super bien.

We loved Uvita and the whole surrounding area. The house was as presented in the pictures with modern amenities and clean.
Beach access is 5-7 minutes and grocery shopping in the area is easy and efficient. This is not a party area of CR and is perfect for those seeking a quiet vacation with easy access to all kinds of nature parks and animals. Lots of birds signing every morning was a bonus for us. Lastly host Nicholas is knowledgeable friendly and efficient.

This is not a party area of CR and is perfect for those seeking a quiet vacation with easy access to all kinds of nature parks and animals. Lots of birds signing every morning was a bonus for us. 10 de 10 es mi calificación para esta casa sumamente bien equipada, su decoración impresionante, la piscina una maravilla y super limpia un jardín amplio y esta ubicada en un lugar agradable tranquilo y privado yo espero pronto volver pronto ya que la pasamos excelente.
Recomendada para familias pequeñas o parejas. Los restaurantes, supermercados y bancos están a menos de 2 kilómetros y la comida muy buena y precios justos.
Agradezco mucho la atención de los anfitriones muy amables.

Our experience at Casa Loros Rojos was undoubtedly perfect. Since the house is located in a very quiet place, close to everything (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, main road, etc.) as well as easy access for any type of car. The song of the birds all day is magnificent, the pool is perfect for the place, the house is fully equipped, everything new and in excellent condition, a really pleasant stay full of comfort and tranquility Ideal to relax. I don't have a negative opinion about Casa Loros Rojos, it was just perfect.

It is centrally located in Uvita. You can walk to the beach and many eating establishments. We loved Carlitos. Awesome margaritas! Strong and delicious! Also the Le French Café. Lovely breakfasts and lunches. And I believe soon they will be opened for dinner! Check out Gusto up the mountain for sunset and great Italian food. The couple moved from near Tuscany. Home made pastas.
Now back to the accommodations. We absolutely loved the pool. It was just cool enough to cool off and warm enough to walk right in. My favourite spot to hangout. We weren’t there for vacation, my husband was working every day. It has a great outdoor space for him to work and excellent wifi
