Home was as advertised. The pool remained cool with 35 degree plus weather. The home was clean and fully equipped including a BBQ which was used frequently. The host was very responsive to all inquiries. It was a five minute walk to the beach as stated.

This place was amazing! I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s, and this was probably my favorite of all of them. My family loved it including our nearly 2 year old. Great place for a family and so close to the beach! The pool was awesome. This is a must book location.

Très belle villa, nous avions même des essuis de piscine. Nous avons pu laver notre linge et le sécher (qui était trempé car nous sommes passé par La Fortuna). Nous avions des sacs poubelles de rechange, papiers toilette, gel touche et shampoing, liquide vaisselle et même des pastilles de lave vaisselle. Le maxi palli était accessible à pieds. le rêve. Nous étions à 5 ou 10 min d'un parc Marino Ballena et de la plage d'Uvita. le resto Tex-mex en face était très bon. Endroit idéal.

Casa Big Sky was lovely with plenty of room, very comfortable beds, great showers & a refreshing pool.
It is walkable to the beach & some restaurants( the very near by Tex-Mex place is delicious w/great service!!).
It also has an extremely well equipped kitchen, beach/pool towels & 3 beach chairs as well.
We did have some minor issues with remotes not working, no sound on the TV but the host was VERY responsive, addressing the issues promptly with good resolution.
A most wonderful stay & I would highly recommend Casa Big Sky!!!

We were able to have an early check-in, which was fantastic and the fresh fruit on the counter felt so welcoming! We enjoyed the house, the location and the pool! Thanks to Osa Property we had an amazing time at this location , the place was nice and neat , the views were amazing and the whole stay felt like a resort accommodation, the private pool definitely made the vibes !!!
Great home base for our vacation!
We loved the house! Incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for the week. The A/C and pool were key to keeping our temperatures in check during the hot humid weather this week. The location was fine but would have been nice to be able to walk into the main part of town, but seemed none of the roads went through and the area down by the beach is very muddy and overgrown during the rainy season. Also several of the businesses down by Playa Chamán weren’t open due to the low season, so we didn’t have as many options as we’d expected. However those that were open were great (La Choza, La Colonia, Mareas market). Loved that they had ample beach and bath towels and beach chairs for our use at the house. The washer/dryer worked great as well, which was so nice to keep up with dirty beach towels. We also loved the tours that our host set up for us- Isla de Cano and Uvita paradise zip lines and waterfall tour. We did a wonderful surf lesson with ColoTico surfing as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Big Sky. The house was perfect for my family of 5. The house was clean, well stocked, and better than pictured. The location of the house was great. We enjoyed walking to Marino Ballena everyday and even enjoyed surf lessons right at that beach. Also, there is a fantastic Mexican restaurant across the street. We stayed in two other areas during our trip and this location and house was by far the highlight of our two weeks in Costa Rica. We can’t wait to go back!

Casa cómoda y muy bien ubicada, a distancia caminando de la entrada del Parque Nacional, zona tranquila, el personal de Osa Properties fue siempre atento, me parece que no es adecuado cobrar un seguro por daños a la casa, más que el mismo es costoso. Hemos rentado otras casas en la zona de mayor tamaño y un poco más modernas a un mejor precio, no por eso esta propiedad deja de ser una buena opción. El internet fallaba era irregular y algunos canales de streaming no funcionaban adecuadamente.

La casa está tal y como la describen en su página, es una casa muy cómoda y bien equipada, además la comunicación es muy buena. En el último día tuvimos un incidente con la electricidad y un aire acondicionado no volvió a encender, se le comunicó a la administración y al día siguiente llegó un técnico a verlo, aunque no fue necesario porque después de unas horas el AC volvió a funcionar. En pocas palabras un lugar muy recomendado con muy buena atención.

Great location! A short walk to the beach was a great benefit. There are lot of restaurants close by, including a couple within walking distance. The private pool was great to use when not at the beach. There are plenty of ceiling fans to help keep things cool and there is AC in parts to help if needed. The house is beautiful and was exactly as described.
Osa Property Management was very proactive and responsive. They reached out a couple times before the rental and checked in during the time as well as the day before checking out. Concierge was responsive and booked a tour for us which was great and was painless from our end. We did not have any issues with the property, but feel we would have been taken care of in a timely manner based on the other experiences.
We have rented Casa Big Sky before and would do so again, the house is great and the property manager made for a great experience.

All I have is good things to say about this property; it's beautiful in a nice quiet area, the closes restaurant is only a few steps away and has fantastic food, we were welcomed with a bag of coffee, fruits, and bread, it was clean, with a lot of towels available, the house has a nice pool, comfortable furniture, big fridge, all you need to be honest, can't think of anything missing. A few words about the host: it was communicative, friendly, and proactive.

Es un lugar hermoso para estar. Los cuartos son cómodos y los baños igual. Nos dieron un regalía de café al llegar, está muy bien equipado con diferentes elementos para disfrutar de la playa. Sin embargo, hubo un problema con la refrigeradora, ya que no generaba hielo y tenía una fuga constante. El aire acondicionado funcionó de manera intermitente. Esto hizo que el viaje fuera un poco más difícil porque conlleva empezar a reportar y dialogar con las personas del alquiler y en realidad una quiere ir a descansar.

Communication with Osa Property Management was top notch leading up to the stay and during the stay. I would absolutely stay here and/or in other homes offered by OPM again.

Hemos sido usuarios de Airbnb nacional e internacionalmente , es la primer vez que escucho que la limpieza se paga para que el lugar esté limpio solo al momento de la entrada. Fueron 100 dólares, se supone que si no lo pago llego a limpiar, cambiar camas, lavar platos y otros del inquilino anterior? Además me parece que faltan contenedores para clasificar el reciclaje siendo que están a la vuelta del parque nacional y de ríos y costa.

La casa está mejor de lo que parece en las fotos. Han hecho una inversión en muebles robustos, cocina y baños modernos. Un lugar excelente al lado de la playa y del super mercado, con un espacio de barbacoa con piscina. Todo full equipado.
El único inconveniente es que para 6 personas, el agua caliente con energía solar no aguanta tan bien. Pero bueno, hace tanto calor que ni se nota.
La gente de Osa fue muy amable y siempre estuvo pendiente para ayudarnos.

The house is across the street from a great Mexican restaurant, a 10 minute walk to the beach, and within a 10 min drive to many activities and other restaurants.
The house is clean, comfortable for our party of 4 and has AC throughout! I agree with another reviewer that the sofa isn’t super comfortable, but it worked for games and watching limited tv at night.
The house was fantastic, and if we return to Uvita, we would love to rent this house again.

Tidy, comfy, and convenient
If you are looking to get away by yourself on the South Pacific coast of Costa Rica, these folks have done the heavy lifting for you! Casa Big Sky was easy to check in and check out, fully outfitted for home cooking, and close to several grocery stores and restaurants. But you’d never know convenience was so close while lounging by the private plunge pool in the back yard. We loved it. We also loved the full-service concierge provided by Osa Property Management! Want a private chef to cook dinner at your house? Done. Need a zip line tour next week? Done. Nick’s team didn’t just provide us a house, they made our whole vacation easy. Thank you so much!

Nick has put together a wonderful team in beautiful Costa Rica. This was our first trip to the country and our family had a wonderful time because of OPM. The staff are very available and they really leverage WhatsApp to stay in touch conveniently and unobtrusively. Check-in and Check-out were a breeze. The house, Casa Big Sky, was on a cul-de-sac with other new construction homes, some owner occupied and some rented out. A wonderful Mexican restaurant and bar is about 300 meters away but you wouldn't know it when you are hanging out on the back patio or lounging by your private pool! The house is wonderfully appointed and you can fill the fridge and cook for yourself, or hire an in-home chef service. Wifi at the house was always reliable. We loved the house and it's convenient location in Uvita. Grocery stores, restaurants, and the National Park are all very convenient. The Osa team really came through with easy reservations for snorkeling, zip lining, a gorgeous waterfall day trip, and my favorite, the pre-Columbian chocolate plantation experience! We really got the Pure Vida experience at Casa Big Sky and Osa Property Management. Thanks Nick!

Excellent home - we had a great stay in Uvita! Almost everything about this property was perfect. We loved the location - close to the beach, restaurants, groceries - but very quiet at night. Great layout - my wife and I at one end with our own bathroom, and the kids at the other end with 2 bedrooms and their own bathroom. Kitchen was perfect and well equipped. Pool was amazing (a bit bigger than it looks in the photos) and the yard was great. The only minus on this property was the furniture - the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable - we could barely get through a movie at night sitting on it, and the outdoor furniture was terrible - the cheapest plastic furniture you could find. We mainly ate out in restaurants, but the times we did eat at the house, there was nowhere comfortable to sit. Overall a great home and we will def. be back to stay again (hopefully with some upgraded furniture next time!) Osa property management was a pleasure to work with.

New outdoor furniture is being ordered (the Owner is aware of the situation and we were hoping it would be ready in time). We are aware of the situation. I'll keep you posted when the carpenters are finished with it.

Lovely spacious house in a good location.
High spec finish but small, cheap plastic table for outside dining. Pool was smaller than it looked on the photos , too cold and the pool filter/mechanics shed was noisy. Construction noise from next door from sunrise to sunset 6 days a week and construction noise across the road so it wasn't the relaxing and peaceful holiday we expected. Had to ask for a hairdryer that was listed and they said wasn't.

The house is very modern, clean, and has everything you need to cook and relax by the pool. The location is good as well, you can walk to a beautiful beach with mild but fun waves. And it isn’t busy at all, there wasn’t anyone there but us when we arrived at 8:00am. You walk by a few places on the way, a small supermarket, a few restaurants, and a great ice cream place with the nicest older lady that runs it. A bit of Spanish will help a lot, but everyone we came across was patient with my bad Spanish. The beach does cost about $6 per adult (kids free) and they only take credit card. We didn’t know this the first time we went down. A Mexican restaurant (La Choza De Alejo) is pretty much next door and is delicious. Check in was easy, the property managers were kind. It is an easy couple minute drive to all the other restaurants in Uvita.
The only bad thing was that we had a few issues. Some were resolved quickly, which I appreciated. But there was a smell coming from the drains and many mosquitoes inside the house. We kept doors closed all day to try to prevent it, and killed many, but they were still multiplying, perhaps coming from backed up sewer drains? I let the property managers know and hopefully they will address this issue because otherwise it was great. Bring bug spray just in case!

I would highly recommend this property. It’s beautiful and literally has everything you need for your stay. I stayed here with my family (husband, 2 Young boys and niece). We are all loved it and my boys didn’t want to leave. I’m so happy I picked this place and look forward to returning one day. Thank you again.

We stayed here for Christmas 2021. This is a brand new custom home, really nicely designed and built, and very comfortable. We liked everything about it. The outdoor dining and relaxing space by the pool is awesome. Every room has ceiling fans and there is plenty of A/C. High ceilings and lots of natural light. A few hundred meters off of 34 so it’s convenient but it was very quiet. 4wd is not needed. You can walk about 10 minutes down the road to the beach. There is a small grocery store on the way and a few restaurants. It’s a quick drive to town where there is an excellent grocery, many restaurants, and plenty of other services. The host was extremely responsive and helped us check in very late after our arrival flight was delayed. Five stars all the way around.
