Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Haus in Uvita, Costa Rica. Das Haus ist super groß und sehr geräumig, mit besonders hohen Decken im Wohnzimmer, die ein tolles Raumgefühl schaffen. Alles wurde wirklich gut ausgewählt und wirkt hochwertig.
Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet – es fehlt an nichts, sogar ein Geschirrspüler ist vorhanden, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht 😃
Auch die Außenlage mit dem privaten Pool ist wunderschön, ruhig und zum Entspannen.
Man fühlt sich hier jederzeit sicher, und auch die Straße, in der das Haus liegt, ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Insgesamt war einfach alles perfekt – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Amazing property. The backyard is wonderful. It feels like a private jungle. Secluded, many species of birds, flowering plants, banana trees. The pool is awesome and the patio furniture is very comfortable. The air conditioners cool the place quickly. This place is truly a gem. Would absolutely stay in this place again if visiting Uvita.

Clean and comfortable stay for us. Wish the kitchen was better equipped (needed to buy basics like salt, seasonings, and oil to cook). The grill also didn’t have any propane so we couldn’t use that. Water pressure was finicky and the power would go out randomly everyday (typically at night). Wish the pool filters weren’t on a timer so we could have the waterfall going for a longer period. Overall it was a nice place to stay and fit our needs.

Casita Quetzal es impecable y cuenta con amenidades completísimas. Incluso antes de llegar ya teníamos toda la información necesaria: detalles del lugar, restaurantes, tiendas, servicios, emergencias, tours, etc. El ingreso fue muy fácil y, al entrar, nos esperaba una bandeja con frutas y un cafecito delicioso; un detalle que nos encantó.
El lugar en sí es precioso, muy tranquilo pero a la vez céntrico, lo que facilita muchísimo moverse hacia las playas y restaurantes.
Definitivamente es el “go-to” en la región. 100% recomendado.

Amazing doesn’t begin to describe this Casita! The fresh fruit and bag of coffee awaiting us when we walked in were such a sweet touch! The provided toiletries in each bathroom not only were a pleasant surprise but smelt so good! I wish we would’ve stayed longer so I could’ve taken advantage of the kitchen, talk about a kitchen made of dreams!
When we were arriving I reached out to Abigail because I needed a ride from the Casita to the rental car agency and she got me in touch with William’s taxi company right away, resulting in a flawless execution of getting to the rental car office without wasting any time.
Oh and a HUGE plus for me, not only did each bed have 4 pillows, but there were spares in the closets. I sleep with 4 for comfort due to medical issues that require propping and finagling to ease discomforts, and almost always have to make due with a few, but I got the best sleep of my entire trip there (and my husband got a couple pillows lol).

We really enjoyed our 10-day stay at this beautiful house. The backyard was our favorite spot to relax, with plenty of birds, lush plants, and the pool—it felt like a little oasis. The house itself was spacious and comfortable for our family. We loved seeing macaws every day, and the beach was just a short, easy walk away. The property management team was also very responsive and helpful when we had small issues with the hot water and AC. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Beautiful house exactly as pictures show. Sheets, blankets, and linens were fresh. Had all pots, pans, and utensils needed for basic cooking. SO appreciated that the house came with coffee, laundry soap, and dishwasher detergent to get us started. Five minute walk to Bahía Ballena National Park one way; five minute walk to large grocery store the other way. Management company was very responsive—main bedroom’s a/c wouldn’t turn on first night; by mid morning on the second day, they had a repair man replacing the entire unit. Would absolutely stay here again for a girls’ trip, two couples, or a 4-6 person family.

This was our first visit to Uvita, and we chose this location for its proximity to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. There are two stores within walking distance and a restaurant at the end of the street. The beach is just a few minutes away, while the Whale’s Tail is about a 45-minute walk via the beach or adjacent trail. We loved the quiet street and felt very safe during our stay. The home’s layout was perfect—with split bedrooms and a spacious, open kitchen/living area. Our favorite feature was the covered back patio and private pool. We spent hours outside swimming, listening to music, and relaxing under cover during the occasional rain. The outdoor half bath was also a great bonus. While in Uvita, we recommend visiting La Uvita Perdida for dinner—go about an hour before sunset or during low tide for amazing views of the Whale’s Tail. We would stay here again if we're ever back in Uvita.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the villa. The location is perfect: close to the beach and shopping options and the house itself is spacious, spotless, and very well equipped. The pool and garden are beautifully maintained and created a relaxing atmosphere. Communication with the management team was excellent: professional, responsive, and helpful at all times. Even my boys enjoyed going to the gym nearby, which was just a few minutes away by car. We would definitely love to come back!

The house was perfect for our stay. It was very well equipped, lots of stuff that we didn't expect but were super practical like beach towels, beach chairs and so on. We enjoyed the big kitchen and being able to really cook meals. Our kids also enjoyed the pool very much especially the fancy light-options and I loved the stereosystem with different speakers in different rooms. The house was also in walking distance to the beach and there's a big supermarket a few steps away.

However, the property is managed by a company rather than an individual host, which showed in small details—like the lack of bedside reading lamps. We also experienced minor maintenance issues with the hot water and air conditioning, though management responded quickly.
The main drawback was significant noise from neighbors on Friday and Saturday nights, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere we were hoping for at the end of our trip.
In summary, it's a lovely home with many positives, but noise from nearby properties may impact your stay if you're seeking tranquility.

We loved our stay in Uvita. The house had great space and the pool was perfect for a kid. Everything was extremely detailed through the guidebook. The recs were great. It also had a Simpli Safe alarm system which put us at ease. We did have issues with hot water on the last day of our stay.
