The property itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The pool was gorgeous, and the scenery was stunning. The staff was also very nice. However, I would definitely recommend this property for a larger group. Our reservation was originally for 7–10 people, but plans changed and only two of us ended up going. As two women alone, the remote location felt very scary, especially at night.
The property is extremely difficult to find, even after you’ve been there once. Make sure the rental company shows you how to properly use 4WD. I didn’t know how, and I got stuck around 9 PM on the way back in the dark, in the middle of the jungle. We were panicking. The staff eventually helped via Whats App, which I appreciated, but they seemed much calmer than the situation felt on our end.
Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a Monday–Friday stay became only one night because we didn’t feel comfortable staying. I’m sure with a larger group, I would have enjoyed the experience much more.

Absolutely beautiful views. My fiancé and I stayed there for a week and it was so wonderful to wake up and go sit by/in the pool overlooking both jungle and ocean.
The drive up to the house was a bit scary at first. It’s unpaved, steep hills but honestly makes for an adventure in itself. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nuestra estadía en Lone Star Casa fue de dos noches y tres días y la experiencia fue excelente. El lugar es muy tranquilo, privado y con un ambiente totalmente familiar, ideal para descansar y desconectarse. Está rodeado de montaña, lo que le da un aire fresco y agradable todo el día, y además hay muchos sitios cerca para visitar, así que se combina muy bien el descanso con pequeños paseos.
La anfitriona siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestras necesidades, atenta y disponible, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más cómoda y acogedora. Sin duda, un lugar al que nos gustaría volver.

The property was beautiful inside and out! We loved every minute we spent there as well as the pool and views. The house had everything we needed so we didn’t have to bring large amounts of beach supplies or things like that. The views in the morning and evening were breathtaking. The way the sun dances on the horizon was amazing. The photos and descriptions were exactly what we found once we got to the property. You do need to make sure you get a 4x4 to get to the property. Overall, you won’t be disappointed with your stay!

Such a relaxing experience! Very short drive from Quepos airport. Host rep was waiting for us when we arrived. Sooooo many great memories made staying here

The home is gorgeous and matches the description and photos (maybe even better in person). We had 5 people and 3 bathrooms, which was perfect. The sunset views are amazing! The home itself is 5 stars. OSA Management was given 4 stars due to the unnecessary stress caused by lack of communication. No where in their agreement does it say they will charge you a late fee if you don't make check-in by 8 pm. Due to flight/car rental delays and traffic (which his CRAZY coming out of San Jose) it looked like we would arrive late. We couldn't give them a time due to the constant stand still traffic. They asked for $50 CASH if after 8 pm (which is against AIRBNB policy) and if after 10, you can't check in at all since they hire someone to take you up to the house the first time. Still a great house, but know their 'policy' before you book.

This property is a great place for your Costa Rican adventure. Perched on a hill overlooking both rainforest and ocean and within driving distance to lots of beaches, marinas, hikes, and national parks. Make sure to bring/rent a 4x4 car for the drive up the hill. Osa Property Management was incredibly responsive and super helpful with everything.

The home 5 stars : spacious/ stunning view/beautiful kitchen/ wonderful bedrooms each has its own bathroom/ new/lush landscape/ gorgeous pool/ large TV to enjoy family time in the evening/ black stone BBQ is a plus / so so clean

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The property was clean & spacious. The community was safe, quiet & offered a unique experience to drive through local districts.
The PM staff (OSA) went above & beyond, providing exceptional customer service from the moment we booked. They were warm, responsive, & prompt. We highly recommend utilizing their inclusive concierge services which allowed us to book domestic flights, rental car, spa services, excursions, etc! The one-stop-shop experience was an extra layer of relaxation that added tremendous value to our trip planning.
Their local guidebook was also super neat!
Amongst the endless great things we can state about this property, nothing beats the incredible, breathtaking views! The stunning backdrop created such a magical experience for us! The infinity pool & waterfall overlooking the jungle... absolutely incredible!
Perfect setting for a romantic/relaxing getaway. We wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend this property to anyone!

Had a great stay at this Airbnb - amenities and the space was well worth the price that I paid. One of those times where the pictures themselves don’t do the place justice.
It’s a bit difficult to find the Airbnb by yourself but the hosts were super communicative and helpful. I definitely recommend you take them up on their offer to have a guide bring you from a local restaurant to the house itself. You NEED a 4x4.

Fantastic place if you are looking for some privacy, less crowded and amongst nature. We had some visitors in the form of scorpions and lizards, but you would expect those in such a weather and surroundings. We enjoyed our stay in this property.
