We really enjoyed our stay in Uvita! The house was very clean and well stocked. We especially loved the pool and the convenient location close to the beach and restaurants. The only downside was that there was only AC in the downstairs room. The upstairs can get pretty warm, even with fans. It did cool off a bit at night, but adding a second AC unit upstairs would make this place perfect

Nous avons grandement apprécié la piscine, la terrasse et son bbq.
A noter l’absence de climatisation à l’étage.

Tout d'abord parlons de la maison: très jolie, moderne, bien équipée mais à quel moment dans sa conception, au soleil et plein sud, on ne prévoit pas de rideau occultant ou une climatisation dans la pièce principale? La "chambre" a l'étage est sous les toits, petites fenêtres sans vitrages et donc une chaleur limite insupportable! Selon les réponses de l'hôte la clim serait installé...un jour.
Siphon de la douche non nettoyé, bouché par des cheveux, traces sur les vitres, poussière sur la clim de la chambre (filtre très sale), les marches de la piscine sont abimées manquent de joints, ça nous a troué un short de bain. J'en ai fait part on m'a répondu "désolé mais nous n'offrons pas ce type de couverture" (pour un remboursement). Je l'ai obtenu en faisant une réclamation en fin de séjour via Airbnb.
On a voulu arriver plus tôt que les 15h comme indiqués dans l'annonce, on pouvait demander... jamais eu de réponse avant...15h.
Donc maison bien dans l'ensemble, contact commercial à revoir.

Wir und unsere zwei Jungs, 3 Jahre und 8 Monate, haben uns ab der ersten Minute super wohl gefühlt. Es war alles noch besser, als wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Wir haben 5 Nächte verbracht und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Der Pool war das absolute Higlight! 🥰

This may be the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It had everything you need and even things you didn’t know you needed!
Located in a quite area near Uvita National Park (beach). The apartment was spotless, the shower was the best we had in Costa Rica and the utility room was super handy.
Of course the private swimming pool was the icing on the cake.
Parking was private with a locked gate.
Aircon is only in the main bedroom which was more than fine if you’re just two sleeping in that room.
We would more than happily stay here again.

This is really a great place to stay in Uvita if you want to be able to park after a bunch of traveling and not have to drive for a few days. There is so much within a 30 minute walking distance that it allows you to settle into the area. We only had three days but we made the most of it. Surfing, exploring the waterfalls and walking to the point.
There are a tremendous amount of food options available nearby. Every restaurant we tried was great, however, even the sodas were priced accordingly for a tourist town. Cooking for yourself will save you quite a bit.
I feel like this location is ideal for an active couple. We traveled with our 3 year old and our 9 month old. I took the loft and I found it to be a bit noisy. Between the fan provided (which was needed), and the AC in the room below, there was a lot of mechanical energy taking place. Regardless of that we loved our stay and we are already planning our next trip back. I'll just squeeze in the bed downstairs this time

Das Ferienhaus in Uvita ist eine tolle private Oase. Einfach fantastisch: der hauseigene Außenpool und die Terrassenmöbel draußen.
Küche super, sehr gut ausgestattet, moderner großer Kühlschrank.
Manko ist, dass das Schlafzimmer oben nicht klimatisiert ist. Die warme Luft steigt nach oben...
Ansonsten alles fein! Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Uvita sehr genossen.

The little pool was a good option to cool down. You could reach restaurants and the Nationalpark by foot.
