Peaceful location, great view, few minutes to beach or village, great restaurants around, supermarket is down the road. The house is great, spacious, well equipped and the host/manager is very responsive.

Fuimos 8 amigas a celebrar el cumple de una de nosotros. El lugar es precioso, la casa extremadamente cómoda y espaciosa. Todo debidamente organizado y muy fácil de encontrar. Los cuartos y los baños son impecables, la piscina riqúisima, el entorno es un encanto, rodeado de naturaleza exhuberante típico de la zona. Cuando recomiendan usar vehículo 4X4, hayque hacer caso!!! porque sí es muy necesario para llegar hasta la casa.
Definitivamente super recomendado y definitivamente queremos volver a ese lugar mágico.

Nos hospedamos en esta casa por la facilidad de la disposición de baños y cuartos, ya que éramos un total de 7 personas totalmente cumplió la expectativa, organizada, totalmente equipada y la vista maravillosa, eso sí a tomar en cuenta que la calle es de lastre, y la última subida para llegar al garaje se pone un poco resbalosa si llueve, recomendado carro 4x4.

We had a wonderful time! The place was perfect for our group of 2 couples, 2 children and a grandma. We each had our own private space and the living, dining and kitchen were very comfortable and convenient! Everything we needed was provided. The pool was great to just lounge or for the kids to play in. The view is awesome!! The pictures definitely show what you see is what you get. The location was centrally located to many places we wanted to visit so it was a short drive to most of the places we went. The guest book with recommendations was very helpful. We especially enjoyed La Parsela with the resident monkeys. The kids had a great time watching/feeding them. The short walk/drive to the local waterfall and streams were nice short trips to fill in our lazy days. We enjoyed the wildlife of howler monkeys, frogs, butterflies, birds and toucans. And the landscaping/flowers/outdoor sitting areas were lovely and relaxing. Would definitely recommend this location and would love to visit again.

Casa de Palmas has an unbelievable ocean view surrounded by tropical forest. Sitting by the pool was peaceful and serene. The home was airy, thoughtfully laid out, kitchen well-equipped and the suite-style rooms gave our teenagers space of their own! Gary was super helpful with making tour arrangements for us too; it felt like we had a local connection already. I would recommend to arrive in the daytime if possible! Locating it was extremely difficult in the dark.

I finally found my home away from home. This house was spectacular. Very clean and spacious. I wish I stayed here my whole trip. Extremely private, didn’t see or hear a neighbor while staying here. Just so you know, the view isn’t directly of sunset but it was too cloudy to see anyways, it rained every afternoon and evening. The drive definitely needs a 4x4, very steep and unpaved but easy to get used to after driving a few minutes.

Our stay hey was amazing. The house looked exactly as pictured and everything was clean. The view outside was amazing and we loved being surrounded by nature. The hosts provided a binder filled with suggestions from food to tours and things in between! In addition, the kitchen was well stocked and there were also all of our beach needs (i.e towels, chairs, cooler, toys). The kids had a blast! The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful! I would definitely stay here again.

Paradise!
Casa de Palmas was amazing! The view was out of this world, the pool was relaxing and a good temp too. Each morning we drank our coffee and listened to the monkeys and birds. Our daughter saw 3 toucans near the home too. What a trip of a lifetime! We had all we needed at the house for cooking meals too. Bedrooms and bathrooms were 10/10

We had an amazing time. With a 7 year old, 13 year old, 19 year old, and four middle agers, this property did not disappoint. We woke every morning with howler monkeys in the distance. We had the opportunity to spot monkeys in the trees, coatis running past the pool, toucans flying by. The place was definitely 4x4 worthy, but worth every bump getting to it.

We stayed for a little over 4 weeks and very much enjoyed the experience. The house seemed larger than it appeared in the photos we looked at prior to arrival. Everything is modern and the kitchen was better than the average rental house - we prepared many meals while there. We enjoyed walking down to the waterfall for a swim every morning. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular. We paid extra for the cleaning crew to come several times during our stay - wonderful people who do great work, and the price was very reasonable. You do need 4WD, but it’s fun - you feel like you’re on a bit of an adventure😀 We encountered a few minor maintenance issues while we were there - the property management team always responded promptly and the people they sent to the house were friendly and professional. Regarding phone and internet service, the cell signal we got at the house was 1 bar of 3G, and the house has a fast fiber optic and wifi connection, however, the fiber optic connection was not always working (the fiber optic company’s issue, not the property managers). This is perfectly fine for a relaxed vacation but may be a challenge for anyone needing to work or join virtual meetings. We experienced no crime and always felt safe - in fact, the people we interacted with were uniformly friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend.this property.

The time we spent in this house was unforgettable. The house is beautifully designed, luxurious, and has everything you could wish for for an unforgettable holiday. What impressed me the most was the stunning natural surroundings and the sounds of birds and other animals. Staying here was a complete immersion in nature and the rainforest, and we were able to spot many species of birds and other animals (such as hummingbirds, toucans, and monkeys). All in all, this is a place where anyone would love to spend a perfect holiday, and I hope we will come again. It is only worth mentioning that access to the house is a bit more challenging due to the gravel road, and it is advisable to have a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Thanks again to our kind hosts who provided us with all the necessary information and quickly answered all our questions.

We recently stayed at this property and had an incredible experience! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything you could need for a relaxing vacation including local tips for tours, restaurants, and nearby beaches.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the 360° views were absolutely breathtaking.
The pool and surrounding grounds felt luxurious and serene, with lush landscaping and a covered outdoor patio that made it easy to enjoy the ocean views, rain or shine.
Access to the house was simple, and our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, just a short drive from a charming town filled with great dining options and stunning beaches.
This property is a hidden gem and an absolute must-visit. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommended 10/10

La Casa de Palmas was the beautiful base for my first-time vacation to Costa Rica. I loved everything about my week-long stay at this property and I can’t wait to go back. Honestly there’s no need to leave Casa de Palmas when you get there… everything I wanted and needed for my break was right there: the sounds and smells of nature and jungle, incredible colours from the views and sunsets, and vegetation balanced by the serene design of the home and landscaping, comfortable beds, and just the right activities. Lovely linens/pillows/mattresses contributed to deep incredible sleeps. Spacious seating arrangements and a fully-stocked kitchen made the stay comfortable, smooth and easy. The hostess shared unique and memorable suggestions for activities in the area, from restaurants to a private chef, a boat tour, and a jungle/waterfall outing… but I was happy staying right there at Casa de Palmas, never leaving, just hanging with the howler monkeys in the treetops ;). Thank you for the experience! I 150% recommend this property for those looking for relaxation and luxury — and adventure too if that’s what you seek.

Casa de Palmas is unlike any other. Our family wanted together time and relaxation in an extraordinary tropical setting with out-of -this -world views. It’s exactly what we got and more! Casa de Palmas is the perfect distance to town and delicious restaurants, activities, tours, surfing and that postcard waterfall! At days end we enjoyed the perfect aqua pool with an occasional tropical cocktail:) Totally rejuvenated. We’ll be back!

The house was exactly as advertised, absolutely stunning with high-end finishings, a beautiful private swimming pool and spectacular sunset views. It is ideal for 2 families, with 2 gorgeous primary bedrooms, or a group of 6-8 people. The location is very convenient, minutes from the highway but super private and a short drive to amenities. We spent a week at Casa de Palmas, and it exceeded any and all expectations. The house is even better than the photos we had looked at. Which was already a high bar.
It was spotlessly clean, well stocked, and is a truly spectacular home. We spent hours on the patio and in the pool enjoying the view, the privacy, and the sounds of the jungle.
The kitchen was perfectly set up to enjoy meals together, and the open concept of the main area was perfect for our group of 7.
We loved having the private bathrooms off each bedroom, and appreciated the air conditioning.
The welcome binder had wonderful suggestions for dining, shopping, and activities in the area. We took advantage of many of the suggestions, but equally loved our chill days at our “home away from home”.
I would not hesitate to recommend Casa de Palmas to anyone wanting a wonderful getaway to enjoy “la vida pura” in Costa Rica. I cannot wait to return!

The problem was fixed promptly with no problems.

Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de la vista y alredores que tiene esta propiedad, un lugar muy bonito rodeado de animales tambien que visitaban los alrededores para una experiencia mas unica (como tucanes y monos), esta muy bien equipado, el host siempre fue muy atento y cumplio las expectativas durante nuestra experiencia resolviendo cualquier problema que se presentara.

What a wonderful place! This house lived up to its description. It is situated on a hill overlooking the sea. Toucans, monkeys, lizards… lots of wildlife. Our family really enjoyed the pool and sitting outside when it was raining. Can’t recommend this place enough.
The property managers were great and were always available on WhatsApp. Note, you need a car that can climb hills. 4x4 is strongly recommended. My family “enjoyed” the climb quite a few times and it was always commented on.
We just got back to the states and we already miss the house.

I had an enjoyable experience staying at Osa Property. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the house.

This place is something else, probably the coolest house I’ve ever been in, great location. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is much bigger than what it seems. A/C is great, amenities inside are all what you would need. A lot of people talk about the mosquitoes and we could sit outside for hours on end and never see one or get bit once in 5 days. Howler monkeys close by and the sounds at night are amazing of all the wildlife. Secluded yet close to Dominical. Also within walking distance is a beautiful waterfall, swimming pond and rope swing that is a great free mini excursion in itself. As far as 4x4 goes I used it once in a downpour but not really needed if you can drive it’s a fun little trip up the hill……. And for my boy Matt….. Go Astros

The house was absolutely beautiful, however you should atress to have a 4x4 to get to the house The amenities weee spot on and the view from the house was breathtaking. I do recommend this rental for a group setting. They provide all that is needed. An awesome experience.

Nous avons loué cette incroyable maison durant 3 nuits et on peut dire que tout était PARFAIT. La maison est neuve, très moderne et high tech. La piscine et la vue sont des atouts +++. Pros: Beautiful House, gorgeous view; Each room had a private bathroom.; An abundance of linens and towel and of decent quality; Kitchen was very well stocked with all the dinnerware, pots and pan you could possibly need; Gas stove.
Cons:
House REQUIRES 4x4 (description explicitly says it doesn't). 2 neighbors (Claude and Jeff) pulled our cars up the hill. We let the property manager know and we got a very generic message and no followup; We never used the dishwasher, but it kept turning on every time someone was at the kitchen island. Eventually it began to leak.chunks of old rotten food and dirty water all over the kitchen floor. They never sent anyone after we notified; We kept getting notified about music being too loud, it wasnt, and we were never made aware that we'd be monitored; they kept bombarding me with messages rushing checkout. Overall, the house was magnificent, and the owners have it very well stocked. My displeasure is with the property managers.

We are sorry for the inconveniences of the messages - the listing states there is a decibel device in the home. It may have been triggered by the rains. You never mentioned anything to us so we didn't know you were receiving the messages as we could have made an adjustment on the settings of the one sensor in the dining room/living room (it is to respect the neighbors and neighborhood but the sensors just monitor noise levels regardless of the source). In regards to response: You sent a message at 8:14 pm, we responded at 8:17 pm. You sent a message at 10:03 am, we responded at 10:06 am. You notified us of the dishwasher issue as you were leaving the property (we immediately sent a maintenance person to investigate and fix the problem.) Again, we are sorry for your experience and we would definitely be interested in Hosting you again. Pura vida!

The pros: beautiful property and surroundings, big and clean home, lots of natural light, lovely pool, fully stocked kitchen, spacious and private, close to a beautiful waterfall.
The cons: impersonal in the sense of the decor and furnishing of rooms (didn’t feel like a home), also impersonal in terms of it being run by a reality company- we arrived 15 minutes early and weren’t allowed in until 3 pm sharp even though the house was ready (we were traveling with two babies and it was nap time and everyone had to pee), communication only during working hours so if something goes wrong after hours you’re on your own, food stuck on pots and pans, had to pay an additional fee through their site after booking on Airbnb and another $50 for a pack’n’play crib.
Compared to other options in the area, I think this place is one of the best around, but it wasn’t the best experience for us.

Leah - we are sorry you arrived before check-in time and didn't let us know in advance. For security and safety reasons the locks are set for the time of Guest arrivals - and can be modified rather easily with proper notification. Please let us know in advance of your arrival time - it is something we ask for but never heard from you unfortunately.
We will talk to the Owner about the decor and furnishings, although other Guests have seemed to love and appreciate the decor. In addition, all of the photos in the listing clearly show potential Guests exactly what the home looks like, including furniture and decor. This place was heavenly. The architecture, the decor, the layout , was all conducive to beauty and function. The hosts were stellar in getting back to us when needed: the kitchen is gorgeous, like the rest of the house. The bathrooms, sparkling and clean. The pool was just wonderful and at the perfect temperature. The stand of palm trees outside my balcony was stunning to see in the morning! The birds and monkeys in the trees were delightful ! . We honestly can’t wait to come back!

Osa management made our stay extremely easy and comfortable. The property is beautiful with a wonderful view of the Pacific. Everything is modern and well-equipped. We had everything we needed to cook for our group (8 people) and even a first aid kit was available just in case!
Osa was extremely responsive when we mentioned something needed fixing. There was a maintenance person there early the next morning! Someone even came by to do pool maintenance. They are very organized and good at communicating. We enjoyed our stay and loved going into town where we grabbed groceries from Mama Toucan’s and had delicious meals at Junta.
We would definitely stay with Osa again.

The beds are perfect to recharge. A/C works really well and the internet speed is good enough to have videoconference and watch Netflix at the same time. Great value for the price!

Incredible vacation!
My wife and I had the most amazing vacation in this incredible vacation rental. The road leading to it goes by a beautiful waterfall where stopped to swim many times. The home was clean, comfortable and safe. It was very well equipped with everything we need to have an amazing stay! The pictures don’t do it justice - we can’t wait to come back again for friends!

We stayed for a little over 4 weeks and very much enjoyed the experience. The house seemed larger than it appeared in the photos we looked at prior to arrival. Everything is modern and the kitchen was better than the average rental house - we prepared many meals while there. We enjoyed walking down to the waterfall for a swim every morning. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular. We paid extra for the cleaning crew to come several times during our stay - wonderful people who do great work, and the price was very reasonable. You do need 4WD, but it’s fun - you feel like you’re on a bit of an adventure😀 We encountered a few minor maintenance issues while we were there - the property management team always responded promptly and the people they sent to the house were friendly and professional. Regarding phone and internet service, the cell signal we got at the house was 1 bar of 3G, and the house has a fast fiber optic and wifi connection, however, the fiber optic connection was not always working (the fiber optic company’s issue, not the property managers). This is perfectly fine for a relaxed vacation but may be a challenge for anyone needing to work or join virtual meetings. We experienced no crime and always felt safe - in fact, the people we interacted with were uniformly friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend.this property.
