We stayed here with another family, 11 people in total. The house was exactly as advertised, very beautiful with outstanding views. We saw many tucanes, and some parrots. There are some nice restaurants & shops behind the neighborhood in Ojochal, including an organic shop. Great location. Would stay here again!

Our stay at casa aventura was exactly what we were expecting, the house is beautiful the weather was great, and we felt like it was home, the beaches are very close by car, and in the house you will find all the amenities you need to have a pleasant experience!

A magnificent, luxurious escape.
The luxurious 5-bedroom estate felt grand, deeply comfortable for our family. King suites, separate guest house offered plush, private havens. The property in immaculate condition with stunning views of ocean and plush tropical forest. We did enjoy daily sighting of toucans, monkeys, sloths from pool. We particularly enjoyed visiting nearby Playa Ballena beach, which offered pure coastal bliss.
This property is luxurious providing us an unforgettable, indulgent experience. Highly recommended for unparalleled beauty, comfort, luxury in Costa Rica, it took our breath away, we already dream of returning!

This property was everything we were looking for and more. Nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica surrounded by wildlife and unforgettable beautiful scenery that we would certainly revisit. The house was big, comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare quality meals. Our family had a wonderful time in the pool and watching the animals that surrounded the property in every direction. This home is a dream and the property management team made the experience that much better. Excellent communication, guidebook, service, and support.

House and location were wonderful. Very effective communication and responsive host. The surroundings are gorgeous and very peaceful. It’s close enough to many restaurants and to beaches. We did have an unfortunate situation with the kitchen that was not able to be fixed however, we felt respected and valued by the host who attempted to fix the problem.

Beautiful property, one of a kind. I made memories there that will last a lifetime. Responsive, clear hosts, the house is exactly what it says it will be, the views are spectacular, we saw toucans and iguanas at the property, Uvita is very close. An absolute gem for the price, would recommend to anyone I know visiting Costa Rica. If I go back, I'll be letting them know, because this place is not something you can mis out on if you're going.

The house with pool was very comfortable, clean, and nice. The property management was very experienced as they made our accommodations stress free by providing great instructions with pictures and communicated well. They helped us feel prepared ahead of time, during our arrival, and upon checking out. The home was a refreshing place to return to after exploring all day. The pool was extremely inviting. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to prepare our meals, plus more. The bedrooms have AC which made our nights a comfort to sleep in as we aren't accustomed to such hot weather. Can't thank them enough for their attention to detail and thoughtfulness! We recommend this place and the management , highly! Pura Vida!

The villa is more impressive in real life than the pictures. The views are out of this world. We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws and a bunch of other wildlife hanging out by the property. All the rooms have AC and they provide all the necessities for cooking. You won’t regret this place. It’s also close to so many beautiful waterfalls and beaches. Don’t hesitate to book this place.

Our adult family of 8 had a wonderful time! Pool was amazing. Enough kitchen amenities for our needs. Dishwasher doesn’t work well. There is maintenance to be done around the pool- stone deck surface is beginning to break up, the wicker furniture has out lived it’s life span and should be replaced or disposed. The deck lighting around the pool was never found so was very dark after sun set.
None of these issues affected our overall satisfaction.
However, the sloth in the tree right beside the deck, the toucans, humming birds, parrots and the macaws flying over every morning was spectacular. There was a constant parade of iguanas and other lizards which was cool (they didn’t bother at all)
This was our first visit to southern CR. FYI staying closer to Dominical or Quepos would have been a more convenient location. The highway is quite busy lots of semi traffic and narrow.

We loved the house, it was perfect for our family of 11. We had a great time.
On arrival, there was a giant animal poop in the pool. They said they would see if they could get someone to come the next day. The pool guy finally arrived at 10am the next morning, which meant we couldn’t use the pool until noon.
The description is contradictory, in one place it says that you can get to the house in any kind of car and in another it says you need. 4x4. You need at least AWD and a car that is higher up off the road.
The dishwasher only works on Heavy Duty, the other settings don’t clean the dishes properly. We arrived to a dish washer full of dirty dishes that had to be hand washed before dinner.
Although the description of the house includes a butlers pantry, that door is locked and off limits.
The property managers were not at all helpful or responsive. Would return to the house, but would not rent again if they are involved.

We notified the pool company as soon as you notified us of that. We contacted the cleaning company about the dishes. That is inexcusable and we are sorry for that. We offered to get whatever you needed from the Butler's Pantry, and we will remove that from the description. I hope the lack of access didn't ruin your trip as it is used as a storage area.

The property is beautiful as well the neighborhood. The property has a Tucán nest, an a lot of beautiful birds. All spaces are beautiful and the kitchen was equipped to cook meals for a group of 17.
There are enough beds for 13 people, we were 10, the ones spending the night there.
The only downside is that it was difficult for our bus to get to the property, was a 24 passenger bus, it made it. One day rain, and we were needing to meet the bus down hill at the cross road.

Pura Vida experience
This vacation home was beyond my expectations. The home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. I loved the view to the ocean and the backyard is the natural habitat of Costa Rica. Loved the decoration throughout the home. Pool is amazing and if you take a dip in the pool at night you can stargaze and admire the sounds of Mother Nature. Overall, would recommend to friends and family.
Vacation of Our Dreams
Honestly, we cannot say enough good things about Casa Aventura. It's even more beautiful -- spacious, open, light -- than in the pictures. It is immaculately clean, with breathtaking views, modern amenities (hooray for A/C and laundry facilities!), and the most perfectly convenient (yet somehow also wonderfully secluded) location. It truly surpassed our expectations in every way.

We loved this place! It was the perfect rental. Spacious open layout with plenty of room when traveling with other couples or family. We loved relaxing by the pool and on the patio just taking in the beauty and seeing and hearing the toucans, macaws and monkeys! Fabulous kitchen with all you need to make meals and also amazing restaurants just a few minutes away. Our stay was perfect and we highly recommend staying here!

La piscina y las zonas verdes necesitan mejor mantenimiento.
La vista al mar es muy limitada.
Los aposentos olían a guardado, lo cual muestra lo poco que se usa la casa.
Dos cuartos ( 7 personas ) comparten un mismo baño, lo cual es sumamente incómodo.
Existe un reglamento interno de la casa que lo que hace es amedrentar al cliente con multas si haces cosas indebidas. Pienso que ésta estrategia en personas educadas no son necesarias.

He continued to complain about that and that we couldn't offer a late check-out due to other clients arriving later in the day. Therefore, he left a 3 start review. We would NOT rent to him again. Hosts beware!

This is by far my favorite Airbnb in the Southern zone. It is perfect for larger groups and is ideally located a 5 minute drive to beautiful beaches and restaurants.

I stayed here with my family and we really enjoyed the outdoor living area and pool! We were a little disappointed that the wifi was not as advertised as we needed to work remotely and had to take turns using the internet. I reported the issues along with a broken AC unit on our first night but unfortunately neither were able to be fixed during our 6 night stay. The home is located in a wonderful area and is great for a large group. I would recommend the management company include a welcome packet with information on how to dispose of garbage, what can be composted, wifi troubleshooting etc. as this would have avoided a lot of back and forth communication.
Super recommended, we hope to return soon.

We spend a weekend in the house and it is a beutiful place, easy access and great views. Rooms are spacious, beds are confortable and you can find all you need in the kitchen.
Osa Property Management Staff was very helpfull before and during our stay.
However, the pool area needs some important safety improvements. The main stairways to access the pool area from the house does not have neither the proper dimensions, elevation or floor tile. Does not have any railing at all.
The floor tile around the pool does not have the proper nivelation and water accoumulates in some small sectors, which area very slippery.
I strongly recoment to the house owners to make some safety improvements to secure your visitors are safe, while enjoy your beautiful home.

Absolutely gorgeous!! We loved our time in Casa Aventura.
Being located so close to Citrus Restaurant, the grocery store and Reserva Playa Tortuga, made visiting our favorite spots easy and convenient.
Love the pool and beautiful pool deck. Very private and comfortable bedrooms.
Even with kids on the trip, the suites are on one side of the home and the kids on the other wing.

Beautiful house, but need some safety improvements
We spend a weekend in the house and it is a beutiful place, easy access and great views. Rooms are spacious, beds are confortable and you can find all you need in the kitchen.
Osa Property Management Staff was very helpfull before and during our stay.
However, the pool area needs some important safety improvements. The main stairways to access the pool area from the house does not have neither the proper dimensions, elevation or floor tile. Does not have any railing at all.
The floor tile around the pool does not have the proper nivelation and water accoumulates in some small sectors, which area very slippery.
I strongly recoment to the house owners to make some safety improvements to secure your visitors are safe, while enjoy your beautiful home.

La casa es amplia, y muy bien equipada. Caben comodamente…
La casa es amplia, y muy bien equipada. Caben comodamente 10 personas en 10 camas, y 2 más en un sofá cama que cuando se extiende queda a ras de piso. El área social es muy amplia, y todos los implementos sirven perfectamente. La piscina está ubicada frente a la terraza, con excelente vista. Queda cerca de playas y sitios atractivos de la zona. La casa es de fácil acceso y bastante segura. Está ubicada como a 20minutos del Supermercado BM, donde se puede conseguir absolutamente todo lo necesario en cuanto a comida. La empresa que administra la casa responde de forma pronta a cualquier pregunta o requerimiento - realmente excelente servicio y atención. Esperamos volver pronto.

The house was beautiful; pool was great; location was great….
The house was beautiful; pool was great; location was great. We saw lots of toucans. The hot tub is not hot FYI, but warmer than the pool. There is no air conditioning in the main part of the house just the bedrooms, but that was fine for us. Make sure to get directions on how to get and use water. The water was off when we arrived and we had to fill the cistern regularly.

We apologize for the water issue. The ASADA (water utility) was doing repairs in Ojochal for the past month as they upgrade the entire town's water supply system. The ASADA were working on pipes and upgrades in the area/pipeline of Casa Aventura during their stay. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Correct: A/C just in the bedrooms. The vaulted ceilings (over 15 feet tall) coupled with ceiling fans, allow plenty of air movement throughout the main inside part of the house.

One of the most beautiful homes I've ever been in. Luxurious - yet very comfortable and inviting. We loved this home.
Highlight of our Trip
Staying at Casa Aventura was the highlight of our entire Costa Rica trip. We were very busy with tours during most days, but to be able to come "home "every afternoon/evening to this amazing house, is something we will never forget.
Given the size of the home, the location and the amenities, the VALUE was also a great surprise.
