I enjoyed my stay at Villa Peace. The manager team were amazing.

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful and secluded house in Ojochal. The setting is incredible, just ten minutes from the ocean. We loved watching the toucans fly across the jungle that stretches from the house to the ocean. The ocean breeze and shaded terraces were delightful. We spent hours swimming in the glorious pool, and we saw incredible sunsets from the terraces. We loved the views of the jungle, ocean, and mountains from the house. The A/C and Wi-Fi worked well throughout the house. The kitchen is very well stocked. It is very easy to drive a few minutes to the grocery store, French bakery, or gourmet shop for fruit, pastries, or a bottle of wine.
The road leading to the house has some ruts, but our small 2WD SUV was fine. We could get to the best restaurants in under ten minutes and loved the creative and fresh food. The best day trips were to the Uvita Waterfall, Manuel Antonio National Park, and Dominical. Ronny and the Osa Property Management team were so nice.

Be AWARE….. the pics don’t do this place any justice! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Henry was very responsive and helpful and made sure everything was smooth. You will encounter wildlife so don’t be surprised, and you will definitely need a 4X4 to get to the property. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I love new experiences. Especially for our anniversaries. We also enjoy a more upscale approach to our lodgings. So when we waited too long to book a stay at Costa Rican resort, rental properties became the focus of our vacation. We could not believe that Gema Escondida was available with such late notice but, also, that it was surprisingly affordable. The home was as advertised. Absolutely great design, magnificent views and all of the amenities one would need. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils and cookware to supply a Michelin star restaurant, there were PLENTY of towels/toiletries/etc and the pool….the POOL!!! It was a regular occurrence for us to wake up at sunrise, workout beside the pool, cook breakfast and then enjoy an early morning dip to start the day. Absolute perfection. The home is surrounding by the jungle. So that means critters all around. And sometimes they find their way inside the domicile. Nothing scary or dangerous, but just be prepared to see a big on its back near the door or the odd gecko on the wall. Also, a 4×4 IS necessary.

Gema Escondida is a truly amazing luxury villa to spend our vacation on. Everything looks exactly as it did in the listing. The house is very new and so there were a couple of kinks in the kitchen , but it sounded like they were going to work on those right away. The drive is almost about 20 minutes up a mountain, so make sure you have a 4X4 and driver who is comfortable driving it. Its a trek, but the view and home are worth it!

What a great stay and amazing house. The perfect place to stay while exploring the area and whale watching. The property management was very attentive and able to book our tours for us at a lower prices than tours I had researched on line. The house is a perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the end of the day with the two other couples that joined us. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms we were very comfortable. I would recommend stopping at BM market or the minisuper on the way to the house if you need food or drink because it’s probably a 20 minute drive to a big store. We saw a few restaurants along the way but we just stayed in and enjoyed our cooking and play games or swimming.

We had a lovely vacation at the beautiful, modern home overlooking the Pacific ocean. High up on a mountain, in a gated community, we were surrounded by rain forest and lots of wildlife…..toucans, parrots, and howler monkeys.
We especially loved the infinity pool and the view.
