Accommodation: Our spacious condo features 3 bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful night's sleep. Being elevated on the third of three floors allows you to be eye level with Howler and White-Face Monkeys, as well as, toucans, parrots, macaws, and more! There is an elevator available for your convenience. Enjoy your vacation in style with all the amenities you deserve; while being immersed in nature and the beauty of a true Costa Rica experience.
Casa Ballena easily sleeps up to 10 people via a king bed in the master bedroom, two double bunk beds in the second bedroom, and a queen bed in the third bedroom. There is also one twin inflatable mattress to accommodate an extra guest if needed. Casa Ballena has an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom and a full bath and a half bath in the common area. A mid-stay housekeeping refresh is included for stays of 5 nights or longer.

One of the most enchanting features of Uvita is its pristine beaches. The Costa Ballena coastline boasts stretches of soft, golden sand that meet the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. Uvita is one of the Central Pacific's best kept secrets. The beaches are beautiful, the hills are lush, wildlife is abundant and its the perfect place to surf, horseback ride or just relax. Uvita has great restaurants (coffee shops, microbrewery, local, fine dining), grocery stores, banks and pharmacies. If you are looking for a beautiful beach destination that is far less developed than Manuel Antonio, Uvita is a fantastic alternative.

Guests are a short walk away to the beach!

Uvita also makes a great base for exploring Dominical (12 miles North) which is a fun, funky hippie and counterculturist enclave with great shops, dining, live music, candlelight yoga, spas, bars and beach. The tiny town of Ojochal is 9 miles to the South and is known as one of the best foodie town in Costa Rica. Ojochal also offers easy access to Playa Ventanas, a small and beautiful beach famous for its sea caves.

Ojochal also has several pickleball courts and tennis courts available for rent if you are interested in playing while visiting.

For those who enjoy golfing, the southern pacific’s only golf course, Osa Golf Course, is an easy 15 minute drive south, located in San Buenas.

Guests will be given an access code for the main security gate and a different code for the door of the condo, approximately 48 hours prior to arrival.

Home is easily accessible by any kind of vehicle. Uvita does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available.

Property is approximately 3 hours from San Jose International airport (airport code: SJO) and about 45 minutes from Quepos domestic airport. Quepos has daily flights to/from SJO.
