Amazing quality villa. Very private and everything you need is there . Definitely will come back with big family gathering !

Great house and people! Would definitely recommend a stay here to get away from it all.

We loved the house from the moment we arrived.
It is centrally located in Uvita. You can walk to the beach and many eating establishments. We loved Carlitos. Awesome margaritas! Strong and delicious! Also the Le French Café. Lovely breakfasts and lunches. And I believe soon they will be opened for dinner! Check out Gusto up the mountain for sunset and great Italian food. The couple moved from near Tuscany. Home made pastas.
Now back to the accommodations. We absolutely loved the pool. It was just cool enough to cool off and warm enough to walk right in. My favourite spot to hangout. We weren’t there for vacation, my husband was working every day. It has a great outdoor space for him to work and excellent wifi
Things they need to do better. The kitchen needs a few more utensils, but in all fairness this was a brand new Airbnb and it is still getting established. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of this house. When you book here you will love your stay. We did!!!

My wife and I love new experiences. Especially for our anniversaries. We also enjoy a more upscale approach to our lodgings. So when we waited too long to book a stay at Costa Rican resort, rental properties became the focus of our vacation. We could not believe that Gema Escondida was available with such late notice but, also, that it was surprisingly affordable.

The home was as advertised. Absolutely great design, magnificent views and all of the amenities one would need. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils and cookware to supply a Michelin star restaurant, there were PLENTY of towels/toiletries/etc and the pool….the POOL!!! It was a regular occurrence for us to wake up at sunrise, workout beside the pool, cook breakfast and then enjoy an early morning dip to start the day. Absolute perfection.

All was not perfect, tho…at no fault of the owner or property management. A 4×4 IS necessary. I, initially, thought that they may be erring on the side of caution but, no…you will NOT get to this property without a 4×4 that has low gear. Trust me. Also, this property is, ostensibly, in the jungle. So that means critters all around. And sometimes they find their way inside the domicile. Nothing scary or dangerous, but just be prepared to see a big on its back near the door or the odd gecko on the wall (usually near the AC units, for some reason)

But, other than those small quibbles, I would not hesitate to book this property again. As a matter of fact, I have already started recruiting another couple to go with us on our return. This home was just too big and awesome for just the 2 of us. It almost made us feel guilty. HAHAHAHA!

Can’t wait to get back!!!

Stay was great and villa was clean, inviting and well situated. Beautiful sunset views. Only issue to raise was with the gated security access which hopefully can be resolved for future guests by the estate management team… Despite this issue I would go back and recommend this villa without hesitation.

This home, the views, and the wildlife interactions create an experience like no other. The home offers comfort in every aspect , and Ifeatures a modern design with high end features throughout. You are actually in the jungle and can hear the toucans sing, see the macaws fly, and watch the monkeys play. It is beyond amazing. The home is so perfect, we found it hard to leave and view the rest of Manuel Antonio. We will definitely make it an annual destination.

This place was amazing, the space is great, you have everything you need for the stay, the internet was great and the pool so refreshing!
The help during the process was amazing and pretty careful, totally consider coming back! ♥️

Un lugar espectacular, propiedad muy privada y una piscina deliciosa, hay campo con bastante espacio, incluso pudimos hacer frescos naturales con los frutos de los árboles que hay en la propiedad, hay minisuper cerca, parrilla, y todo lo que se necesita para cocinar e incluso lavar.

Punto estratégico para ir a playas en vehículo, la calle es asfaltada y de fácil acceso a la zona, cuando fuimos estaba recién asfaltada por la que la entrada a la propiedad como tal, tiene un poquito de dificultad para vehículos bajos pero estoy seguro que pronto rellenaran para que esté al nivel de la calle.
