This place was very comfortable for our family of 4. We love the outdoor space and the kitchen was very well appointed for dinners at the house. Absolutely stunning house, so pristine clean and has everything you could need. The pool was lush, (and used every day!). A slice of luxury, private but close enough to amenities and the beach. Thank you so much. We can’t wait to come back again!

This is the perfect home for a family staying in Uvita! Nice private backyard with a pool for the kids, comfortable patio furniture, big table for meals outside and ceiling fans to keep the bugs away! The beds were comfortable, air conditioning was great and the kitchen had everything we needed! We loved the basket of mango, papaya, bananas and coffee waiting for us, thank you! Close to a lot of restaurant options and walkable to the beach. We had a great stay and would happily come back! Thank you!

This is a beautiful little house that, unfortunately, had many issues during our stay. There was a problem with the plumbing that we reported the day before we left. We were told it would be reported to the maintenance company and repaired after we left. Not really helpful to us as it was the water. The problem became a larger issue the night before we left and not only were the pipes making loud noises, but the water shot out of the faucets. The washer and dishwasher didn’t work at all. We didn’t shower this morning as the drains were also not draining. They wrote to say they would make sure someone repaired it. The other issue was that a pool man came to the door and asked to be let into the house. The company said that this is part of their house agreement, but I don’t know that man and did not allow him into the house. Weird, uncomfortable request. Overall, an unfortunate stay, but I hope they make the repairs because it is a nice little house. A shame. Response: Hola Christa! We are sorry for the inconveniences you encountered. That is obviously not what we expect our Guests to endure. In this case, the entire sector of Uvita was without water. The pipes making noises and then shooting out of the faucet was caused by air in the pipes due to the repair the ASADA (local water utility) had done to provide water back to the community. In terms of pool cleaner - yes - that is done twice a week and clearly explained in the Guidebook, along with the name/logo of the company of who will be appearing and on what days of the week. By servicing the pool twice a week we ensure that everything is working well and properly balanced in the swimming pool. We hope to have the opportunity to Host you again! Pura Vida! Eine ganz wunderschöne Unterkunft. Schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Pool war großartig! Die Küche war toll ausgestattet. Die Lage war super, kurzer Fußweg zum Maxi Pali Supermarkt und zum Strand. Wir hatten Stromprobleme, diese wurden aber behoben und wir haben eine Rückerstattung erhalten. Vielen Dank dafür. Waschmaschine und Trockner waren hilfreich. Die Umgebung war sehr schön und sicher. Great place to stay, just be careful with the safe, it's extremely finicky! Be sure to watch the video/read paper instructions & maybe even test it without anything inside the safe first, so you don't get yourself in a pickle. Villa is huge and well equipped, the pool is in the small side but still helped us cool off. The kids had fun with it.

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at the Casita. The pool was fabulous and we and our 2 kids spent most of our day in and around it. The garden is very private - with gorgeous, lush greenery around and beautiful flowers. We felt secluded in a good sense - only visited by birds (lots of hummingbirds, gray-cowled wood rails, sometimes we even saw macaws flying past), green iguanas lounging on the neighbours' tree and some squirrels and butterflies. The fittings and furnishings were of high quality and comfortable. The space inside was great and more than we needed. Very well equipped kitchen. Alarm and safe present. We made use of the laundry room as well (it was great to have the dryer there, as generally clothes don't tend to dry well in Costa Rica due to the moist air). It was a very quiet neighbourhood with nice villas all around. 10min walk to the beach (within the national park, so with 6$ entry fee for adults), 2 min to a great Mexican restaurant, 5min walk to a supermarket.

This home was fantastic. Stayed for one week with two school aged kids. Loved the pool, walkable beach and peaceful neighborhood. Would highly recommend this rental for families.

We loved our stay in Uvita. The property and garden were amazing. There was everything we needed to make it feel like home. We used the coffee machine, made smoothies in the blender and even cooked meals in the slow cooker. The convenience of the washer and dryer meant you didn't have to overpack. The location was quiet but near a fabulous couple of restaurants, a supermarket and a short walk to a National Park beach where you can swim and surf. Somedays we chilled out by the pool and on others we took day trips in our hire car. We saw Whales, Tapirs, Monkeys, birds and beautiful butterflies to name just a few. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and location and only hope that someday we can return to this amazing country to take in some more of the outstanding natural beauty.

Nice amenities, near local restaurant, and close to the beach! Couldn’t have been more of a convenient place to stay. Quite a drive from the airport but totally worth it.

Wonderful stay at this property. Enjoyed the outdoor space the most with the pool. Beautiful place and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful with communication and as well helping us to book wonderful excursions we would have never found without them!

This was the nicest place we stayed in CR! Fantastic roomy and clean. It’s a well well equipped home. We loved having a washer and dryer. Beautiful garden and pool. The manager was great at communication. It was such a treat.

Location was easy to find, it is very new and in perfect condition. Easy walk to restaurants, groceries and the beach.

Great property just like pictures very nice secluded garden and pool area host responds quickly I really like this house we arrived 20 mins after check in time but cleaners were still there so didn’t get in until 4.45 so a bit frustrating after a long drive.They did apologise and refunded £40 without us asking which was decent Apart from that it was great and the host really did communicate well and was very helpful so all round 5 stars

Gorgeous, spacious house with lovely outdoor seating and dining area by the pool. It has anything you could need for comfortable stay including lots of nice extras like Bluetooth speakers that work in the lounge, bedroom and outside, good coffee machine and rice cooker. Perfect location for the national park and easy drive to other free beaches like playa hermosa. Overall we had an amazing stay

I have spent beautiful 10 days in the house with 2 kids) Beautiful house with everything you need, walkable distance to the supermarket, restaurants, not crowded beach (bear in mind that it is a beach in the national park and you need to pay for the entrance). Rainy evenings were stunning there, listening to drops on palms, birds singing. Private pool is great to swim at any time and play, dryer so helpful with wet climate, barbecue to make nice dinner. Thank you for being our host, will be back)

We had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed was in the house, and there was even extra fruit waiting for us when we arrived. The house is close to the Marine Park and a MaxiPali grocery store is a 2 minute walk away. A water pipe outside the house broke while we were there, but Abigail and the team kindly sent us a refund for the inconvenience. Overall, I loved this house and the experience! It was also definitely a memory maker watching whales in the Parque Nacional Marino Ballena!

Beautiful, serene and clean new property in nice neighborhood, walking distance to a Mexican restaurant, groceries and the beach. Whales tale is a trek on the beach, but worth it! The management was very responsive in fixing some issues with plumbing that we had (new construction kinks) and answering other questions. Read over the guide you will receive after booking, very detailed and good info. The home is close driving distance to town center and a number of restaurants with great views of water and sunsets. Highly suggest Aracari at La Cusinga (maybe 5-10 mins) and La parcela (closer to dominical, walk out the opposite side of the restaurant to a viewing point for sunset). We tried N Fusion- VERY difficult drive up the mountain w/ 4x4 and views at Aracari were better, besides they close early. The flower gardens around the home were a haven for great bird watching and provided nice privacy. The pool was lovely to hop in at all times of the day. Would stay again!

Perfect beach house.

Immaculate vibes! The backyard is perfect. We spent so much time relaxing outside. Neighborhood has everything you need. Walkable to restaurants, full grocery store + market, and access to the beach. The concierge was so helpful with taxis - we even booked massages to come to the house! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was great. Loved the space. Sadly the WiFi did not work but that was beyond their control as something had effected the power station that puts off the WiFi Signal in the neighborhood. The hot water also was not working because the tank was empty but once it was fixed it was fine. But it was great that they had maintenance on it to resolve it. Everything else was perfect. Amazing place for our honeymoon! We enjoyed the privacy of the house, the backyard and pool were our own little oasis. We could walk to the beach and the great restaurants were just a short drive away! Highly recommend this spot, the host and property management were so helpful and kind!

This AirBnB has a great layout for friends to share. The center has kitchen, dining & living area & each side has a bedroom and bath so there is good privacy. The pool is perfect for swimming & sunning plus there’s a pool bathroom. There is a good restaurant in walking distance & the ocean beach is very close by.

We had a great time at Casita Quetzel! The location is incredible - close to the beach & grocery store & within walking distance of an excellent restaurant with very friendly staff. The house was clean & we particularly loved the floor plan with the bedrooms & baths separated by the living area. The pool is lovely & refreshing with beautiful landscaping. We will be back!

The home was perfect. The pool and outside patio was just so relaxing. The beach is a short walk. Uvita has everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. Wales Tail was definitely a highlight.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The home was gorgeous the moment you walk in with a great open kitchen and wonderful backyard. The backyard has seating and an outdoor table to have all your meals at. The backyard is serene and the pool is perfect. They have everything you need to make your meals. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are wonderfully done. There is laundry inside the home, which is helpful. 10/10 recommend this place. Will be back to not only stay at this home but rent from OSA again.

La casa es preciosa, está muy bien ubicada y es súper cómoda. Los muebles y detalles de muy buen gusto. Prácticamente estrenamos la casa, mi único comentario es que había algunas facilidades listadas y que no estaban en la casa, como plancha o secadora de pelo. En general Casita Quetzal nos encantó y disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía, volveremos.

La casa es preciosa, está muy bien ubicada y es súper cómoda. Los muebles y detalles de muy buen gusto. Prácticamente estrenamos la casa, mi único comentario es que había algunas facilidades listadas y que no estaban en la casa, como plancha o secadora de pelo. En general Casita Quetzal nos encantó y disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía, volveremos.
