We had a wonderful stay in Ojochal! The house was spacious, well-equipped, and very accommodating—perfect for families with kids. The pool was a great bonus and got lots of use. The location is fantastic—Ojochal is such a charming, welcoming community with plenty to explore nearby. Our host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

The bungalow is nesteled within a housing project. It is well built, and even though there are neighbours it's arranged so you have privacy on your patio, pool area and cute garden.
The rooms are airy and nice, modern but note austere. Beds are comfortable. There are both fans and A/C. Kitchen is well equipped, and bathrooms (2) clean with great showers.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the accomodation if you're looking to stay in Ojochal.

This was a fabulous place to stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean as depicted in the description. There are nearby restaurants and stores. The local fruit stands nearby were great for fresh fruit and veggies. So much to do in the area and the house was a wonderful place to stay and unwind after what ever a person wants to do in the area.

Villa Jubilo was the perfect location for us to explore…
Villa Jubilo was the perfect location for us to explore Ojochal and the Puntarenas province. The house is perfect and deceptively large! The large open kitchen-living room is great for conversing and entertaining.
The floor to ceiling glass doors on the back of the house frame the pool and the lush green garden. The pool itself stays fairly warm but makes a great cool-down after your adventures.
The full size kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals and store leftovers.
A small desk area and excellent WiFi made it easy to stay connected.
Overall, the amenities were tip-top! There are a lot of little touches that elevate the experience.
The house location has lovely views of the mountains and is close to the Ojochal waterfall. You can walk to several local establishments, and it’s a very short drive to the main Ojochal strip with delicious restaurants.
We will absolutely be back—Abigail from Osa Property Management was an excellent resource

Ons verblijf in Villa Jubilo was fantastisch. Het huis was modern en sfeervol ingericht en alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig ( van broodrooster tot blender tot wasmachine en droogkast).
De host reageerde ook meteen als we vragen hadden en stond steeds ter beschikking.

First of all, they take cleaning seriously, I’ve never seen a management on Airbnb so talented as this one, everything was clean as brand new, every problem was immediately solved, I’m amazed. The house is perfect for long term stay, and now they even have starlink internet.The beds were comfortable,and we slept great in quiet conditions every night. Also it’s high enough in the mountains so we enjoyed escape from Costa Rican heat every evening and at night, with windows open. During the day 3 AC units were more than enough. Location is perfect, 5 mins driving to the coastline road with all the best beaches in the area, lots of activities around. Half a minute walk from house to a nice organic grocery store. Lots of really nice food options in the area, unlike the rest of the country. In the backyard there are 5 huge iguanas living on the tree, and we’ve seen thousands of hummingbirds. We enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to stay in any of the properties of this exact management

This is perfect house for long term stay. It has everything needed. Powerful A/C in all 3 bedrooms, so it’s enough to cool down all house. Nice pool area with lots of hummingbirds and other birds, many beautiful flowers and it’s overall nice to be there in the greens, also I took my best ever hummingbirds photos there. The table and chair for workspace was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. There are nice grocery stores nearby and countless beaches and activities. What’s really important is that it’s far enough from main road so it was always super quiet. The management team was amazing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay here again !

We're sorry you didn't have a 5-star stay in the "beautiful place" - and your only complaint is related to the fact the home is not pet-friendly. However - the listing clearly indicates that no pets are allowed - we manage over a dozen other homes that allow pets. We would recommend next time you ask your potential Host about pet-friendly homes before booking a reservation and then complaining after the reservation is completed it wasn't the right home for you due to a posted House Rule.

Hola Oscar! Ojochal is a growing area - which is wonderful for peace and quiet. For more people with more options we would recommend you stay at one of our properties in Manuel Antonio. Take a look at our website. We are sorry that you did not have a 5-star stay, in part due to the lack of food delivery - the home is less than 2 km from several amazing restaurants and next time we would recommend you try them given the close proximity. Plus, an awesome coffee shop a couple hundred meters away. Close enough to walk to!

Had an awsome stay at this house. everything is brand new, super clean! Perfect spot.
OUR STAY
We spent 8 days at the Villa and were very impressed with the accommodations. Loved having our own pool. This was our first visit to Costa Rica so the minor power outages were unexpected but not an inconvenience. We loved the fact it had washer/dryer. The walk-in showers were amazing. We did buy 4 wash cloths at the store because we did not find any at villa but wasn't a deal breaker. Close by grocery stores had everything we needed and cooked few nights at villa. Being from the USA , we were very thankful for bedroom air conditioners which worked great. All of the locals, whether it was store employees, food service, beach attendants or just in passing were always so nice. We will for sure recommend to anyone who ask about our trip and stay.

This place has amazing views looking out to the mountains, also the place is really spacious and has everything you need for your stay. also, this house has really good high speed WI-FI and never had it fail. the beds were comfortable and the washing and drying machine looked brand new. I would recommend this place if you ever need a place to stay in Ojochal.

Fortunately, OPM was able to find us to provide us a solution by finding a new accommodation that met our expectations.
