Thank you so much, Delphine, for the wonderful 5-star review! We’re so glad Villa Jubilo delivered on every front — spacious, modern, and fully air-conditioned with a functional kitchen and beautiful pools are all things we take great pride in maintaining for every guest. And what a delightful garden wildlife experience — hummingbirds, a squirrel, and two toucans are the kind of magical moments that make staying in Ojochal so truly special! Your private note also means the world to our team — a kind welcome and reassuring, pleasant follow-up throughout your stay is exactly the experience we strive to create for every guest from start to finish. Thank you for choosing Osa Property Management / Costa Rica Las Villas — we’d love to welcome you back, whether it’s to Villa Jubilo again or to any of our 70+ properties across Costa Rica!

The property was as described. Very clean, the pool was nice and relaxing. The down part was, the directions that are on the app take you to 3 different locations. It was very frustrating. I finally asked the property management folk to just text me a pin, in which they did. Took us right to the property, unfortunately we were on the other side of town from their apps directions. The next morning we found several roaches in the kitchen and there were some sort of worms all over the floor. This was brought to the management team’s attention, to which they replied, “it’s Costa Rica, there’s bugs”. My thought was “no kidding, is that where I am?” The previous 2 nights we stayed in a jungle villa with no roaches in the kitchen. After all that, the night before checking out we were pressured NOT ONCE, but TWICE for an exact check out time. This experience will definitely make me rent from actual owners and not management companies. I’ll NEVER go back to this property. Would not recommend!!!
Response:
We're sorry you had an unfortunate experience. As you may recall, you did not use the Digital Guidebook we sent to you 3 times prior to your arrival, which provides photos and turn-by-turn directions. Regarding the roaches - that is DEFINITELY not something we expect any Guest to endure and we have already sent the fumigators there. We are very sorry about that! In terms of confirming your check-out time, as we asked (once in the evening before and once on the day of, since you didn't respond) "Do you know your check-out time. This helps us schedule the cleaners. Feel free to stay until 11 am, but if you're leaving earlier, could you do us a favor and let us know" We're sorry you found that frustrating - we've never had anyone complain before. We wish you safe travels in the future! Pura Vida

The bungalow is nesteled within a housing project. It is well built, and even though there are neighbours it's arranged so you have privacy on your patio, pool area and cute garden.
The rooms are airy and nice, modern but note austere. Beds are comfortable. There are both fans and A/C. Kitchen is well equipped, and bathrooms (2) clean with great showers.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the accomodation if you're looking to stay in Ojochal.

Villa Jubilo was the perfect location for us to explore Ojochal and the Puntarenas province. The house is perfect and deceptively large! The large open kitchen-living room is great for conversing and entertaining.
The floor to ceiling glass doors on the back of the house frame the pool and the lush green garden. The pool itself stays fairly warm but makes a great cool-down after your adventures.
The full size kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals and store leftovers.
A small desk area and excellent WiFi made it easy to stay connected.
Overall, the amenities were tip-top! There are a lot of little touches that elevate the experience.
The house location has lovely views of the mountains and is close to the Ojochal waterfall. You can walk to several local establishments, and it’s a very short drive to the main Ojochal strip with delicious restaurants.
We will absolutely be back—Abigail from Osa Property Management was an excellent resource

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf!

First of all, they take cleaning seriously, I’ve never seen a management on Airbnb so talented as this one, everything was clean as brand new, every problem was immediately solved, I’m amazed. The house is perfect for long term stay, and now they even have starlink internet. The beds were comfortable, and we slept great in quiet conditions every night. Also it’s high enough in the mountains so we enjoyed escape from Costa Rican heat every evening and at night, with windows open. During the day 3 AC units were more than enough. Location is perfect, 5 mins driving to the coastline road with all the best beaches in the area, lots of activities around. Half a minute walk from house to a nice organic grocery store. Lots of really nice food options in the area, unlike the rest of the country. In the backyard there are 5 huge iguanas living on the tree, and we’ve seen thousands of hummingbirds. We enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to stay in any of the properties of this exact management

This is perfect house for long term stay. It has everything needed. Powerful A/C in all 3 bedrooms, so it’s enough to cool down all house. Nice pool area with lots of hummingbirds and other birds, many beautiful flowers and it’s overall nice to be there in the greens, also I took my best ever hummingbirds photos there. The table and chair for workspace was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. There are nice grocery stores nearby and countless beaches and activities. What’s really important is that it’s far enough from main road so it was always super quiet. The management team was amazing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay here again !
Great Stay!
Everything went super smoothly from reserving, to coordinating our visit, arrival, and departure. The house was great for our family of 5 with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and explore the surrounding area.

It’s a beautiful place , but it would be better if you stay with pets
Response:
We're sorry you didn't have a 5-star stay in the "beautiful place" - and your only complaint is related to the fact the home is not pet-friendly. However - the listing clearly indicates that no pets are allowed - we manage over a dozen other homes that allow pets. We would recommend next time you ask your potential Host about pet-friendly homes before booking a reservation and then complaining after the reservation is completed it wasn't the right home for you due to a posted House Rule.
We offer over 50 amazing vacation rental homes that all have their own uniqueness and amenities - let us help you find the best fit for your next visit to the area.

Response:
Hola Oscar! Ojochal is a growing area - which is wonderful for peace and quiet. For more people with more options we would recommend you stay at one of our properties in Manuel Antonio. Take a look at our website. We are sorry that you did not have a 5-star stay, in part due to the lack of food delivery - the home is less than 2 km from several amazing restaurants and next time we would recommend you try them given the close proximity. Plus, an awesome coffee shop a couple hundred meters away. Close enough to walk to!

OUR STAY
We spent 8 days at the Villa and were very impressed with the accommodations. Loved having our own pool. This was our first visit to Costa Rica so the minor power outages were unexpected but not an inconvenience. We loved the fact it had washer/dryer. The walk-in showers were amazing. We did buy 4 wash cloths at the store because we did not find any at villa but wasn't a deal breaker. Close by grocery stores had everything we needed and cooked few nights at villa. Being from the USA , we were very thankful for bedroom air conditioners which worked great. All of the locals, whether it was store employees, food service, beach attendants or just in passing were always so nice. We will for sure recommend to anyone who ask about our trip and stay.

last minute plan changes – good service
We faced an unexpected situation in which the house we were expected to be staying in was sold a couple of weeks before the arrival date. Fortunately, OPM was able to find us to provide us a solution by finding a new accommodation that met our expectations. It was a bit far from our intended location but this is understandable as this situation happened at the last minute. The villa at Ocotal is spaceaous, confortable and well equiped. Check in/out process was smooth and the communication with OPM was good. Totally recommend OPM for future rentals.

last minute plan changes – good service
We faced an unexpected situation in which the house we were expected to be staying in was sold a couple of weeks before the arrival date. Fortunately, OPM was able to find us to provide us a solution by finding a new accommodation that met our expectations. It was a bit far from our intended location but this is understandable as this situation happened at the last minute. The villa at Ocotal is spaceaous, confortable and well equiped. Check in/out process was smooth and the communication with OPM was good. Totally recommend OPM for future rentals.
