Perfectly located in Uvita, and an easy 7 minute walk to Playa Chaman, which is part of Uvita Beach/Ballena National Park (entry fee required).

There are very few available homes in Uvita that have such quality and beautiful construction, and are so close to the beach.

This property was in a great location. Within walking distance from the beach and some restaurants. We loved the local feel and watching the surfers on the beach. The house itself was private and clean. The pool was an awesome perk and we loved hanging in the backyard. We noticed in the description it said the pool would be cleaned twice a week but we didn’t know when the cleaner would show up. He randomly opened he gate one day and we were slightly nervous but he was quick and very nice! We also saw plenty of wildlife there and the birds even peck on the windows to get in so don’t let that scare you 🙂 It is slightly down a gravel road with a few pot holes but just take it slow and you will be fine. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay here! The house was beautiful, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is about an 8-minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. There are at least four great little restaurants within walking distance, so going out for a meal was always convenient (highly recommend the empanada place!). After days spent at the beach or exploring the area, the private pool was the perfect place to relax. Honestly, we almost hate to leave such a good review because we would love for this house to still be available next time we come back. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay, the house is beautifully designed and we particularly loved the pool and outdoor living area. There’s also an option to use the outdoor bbq, shower and bathroom. The home was perfectly located close to the beach and restaurants, with a mini mart near by. It was also easy to find as it’s listed on google maps (genius!) The property management company was extremely responsive and proactively reached out to see if they could assist us with anything.
Would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Uvita and we hope to make it back some day.

This is a great airbnb if you are looking for…
This is a great airbnb if you are looking for walkabililty and privacy. It's a 10 minute walk to Playa Chaman, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. We came here to enjoy the coast for a few days and to go scuba diving. The dive shop, costa rica dive and surf is a short 5 minute drive from this property, very convenient! We loved the pool and the covered outdoor living space at this property. It was a great way to cool off on a hot day, without having to be inside! We would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful. The place had everything we needed and in a great location, within a 5 minute walk to Playa Chaman - great for surfing, sunset watching and strolling. Lots of restaurants nearby, easy access, felt safe and secure. Hosts were very responsive and left us a lovely welcome gift. Highly recommend!

This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica! What a beautiful space in a walkable community. We loved the pool and the patio space. It was nice to have a washer and drier and the showers made us feel like we were at a spa. They even left us fresh fruit, cookies and coffee.

My partner and I loved the house, the pool, the bbq area, having a kitchen, it felt like home! I enjoyed the water pressure in the shower and there are three toilets including the one by the pool, so that's nice for a family. 7 minute walk to the beach, we entered for free three times, and paid twice, so it was kinda random. 30 minutes walk from Bahia Ballena national park, we found a local super market with everything 15 min walk. The house and street felt safe, it was clean too, it looks even better in person than on the photos, and finally some nice towels!!! I recommend it!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und der Strand ist in kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Man beachte jedoch, dass der Strand zum Nationalpark gehört und man Eintritt pro Tag zahlen muss. Auch wenn wir mit dem Wetter wenig Glück hatten, haben wir eine tolle Zeit in Uvita verbracht. Es wurden uns auch viele Ausflüge angeboten - hier vielleicht der Hinweis, dass man keine Ausflüge empfehlen sollte, die saisonabhängig sind.

My partner and I had a fabulous stay here. When we weren’t at the beach, this stay was its own little sanctuary! We loved the pool, outdoor spaces and appreciated the well stocked kitchen appliances since we cooked most of our meals at the house. We enjoyed all of the thoughtful details that were created to make us feel welcomed; even fresh fruits and coffee! The host was extremely responsive and kind. I will definitely visit again.

Wonderful place to stay. They did require a $500 deposit or purchase of $45 insurance to stay here in addition to the rental fees, which I had not noticed in the rental ad. The house is beautiful and close to a beach, but the beach does cost $6.78 per person per day for park entrance fees. Lots to do in the area as far as tours and outdoor activities. Very quiet and relaxing stay. I would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

This was a surprise for my wife’s Birthday, and I’m happy I choose this property!!! My wife and I describe it as paradise , it is the most beautiful well equipped private property we have ever stayed in!! Our Host was most gracious and helpful towards all our needs ensuring a wonderful birthday for my wife. Everyone we met were super friendly and welcoming the area has some of the best restaurants I’ve been to and nothing can beat that early morning walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. Needless to say we will be returning in the near future and staying at the property again . I highly recommend to anyone one looking for the perfect paradise oasis.

Great location. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Short driving distance to supermarkets and other points of interest. Lovely outdoor area with pool and bbq. The inside space is small but you can make it work with 2 people max. The kitchen/living area was a bit uncomfortable for 4 of us to share.
Things to note: there is nonstop construction right next door. We experienced construction noise from 6am-6pm, including weekends. There is nothing that the host can do on this end, but should be disclosed on the Airbnb listing for transparency.
Host was very responsive prior to our check-in, however, when we encountered some challenges and reached out to the host during our stay and post check-out, they read all our messages via Airbnb, but stayed silent and never responded to our concerns.

This place was the perfect landing pad for our tropical vacation. We were two couples, each with a baby, and this place was ideal for us for so many reasons. The AC was super valuable, as we didn’t realize how much the heat would sap our energy. With babies, having a pool to hang out in during nap time was clutch. Being able to walk to the beach and several restaurants was so nice because we didn’t need pile into a car every time we wanted a smoothie or a beer. The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen implements. The property management company was quick to respond to questions and requests. We were even able to rent two cribs for the week which they had all set up for us when we arrived. It also felt very private and calm- the only noise you could really hear was the scarlet macaws hanging out in the nearby trees! We would happily return to this Airbnb, it is an excellent option for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in Uvita.

Located very close to the beach which is part of the national parc which is why the access is not free ($6.8 USD / person) and local restaurants. You can take advantage of affordable surfing lessons on the spot if you ask around. The restaurants suggestions from the property guest book is worth trying, we found La Choza De Alejo a very good one and close by with the car.
The little garden in front of the property is quite remarkable and the reach vegetation creates a level of privacy that is just right!

We had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day, walked to the beach each evening to watch the sunset (safe area), and enjoyed a few swims in the pool. We are already planning our next visit to CR and we will book this unit again (hopefully it will be available.)

What a place! The beach at Uvita took 10mins to walk, there were local restaurants en route, as well as surf board hire. The house was immaculate, and the pool glorious. This was by far the best house of our trip so far. The only downside is that we had to leave.

You will find a very well equipped house kitchen in case you want to dine at home - thanks to the grill beside the pool it should an option nr. 1! The pool provides you with a possibility to cool yourself at any moment and even take some son baths. The beach is near, the surroundings are quiet and the ACs are working properly.

You will find a very well equipped house kitchen in case you want to dine at home - thanks to the grill beside the pool it should an option nr. 1! Modern comfortable house in local neighborhood within walking distance to the most pristine beach. Very walkable for this area. Great for a low key beach town stay. AC in bedrooms was a life saver.
Would note that you have to pay for the beach but it’s only $6/day since it’s a protected park but 100% worth it.
Only downside was that water from faucets and fridge was very murky and did not feel drinkable so would pick up some drinking water at the local BM.

Great beach get away
We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. We would surf every evening till the sun went down and sometimes picked up take out on our way home. The pool was perfect for my two kids. Scarlet macaws and fiery-billed Aracari would visit daily in the back yard. The neighbor hood was peaceful, not the party scene as in other places in town. Very family friendly. The house had most amenities but the kitchen was a bit under supplied. If you were planning on cooking a nice meal you may be frustrated with the lack of a few utensils and extremely dull knives. We utilized the restaurants close by. There were several within walking distance and several more only a 5-10 min drive away. The property manager for this unit did a decent job with communication prior to our visit. They also were very responsive to our requests. I would definitely stay here again.

Très belle maison, d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien située pour se reposer quelques jours. Tout le nécessaire est accessible à pied : restaurants, supérette, plage (payante, mais elle vaut le détour). La maison en est elle-même est vraiment très agréable, très bien équipée (il y a tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner) et la piscine est juste parfaite. On espère pouvoir y retourner un jour !

Tout le nécessaire est accessible à pied : restaurants, supérette, plage (payante, mais elle vaut le détour). Since the house is located in a very quiet place, close to everything (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, main road, etc.) as well as easy access for any type of car. The song of the birds all day is magnificent, the pool is perfect for the place, the house is fully equipped, everything new and in excellent condition, a really pleasant stay full of comfort and tranquility Ideal to relax. We loved the house from the moment we arrived.
It is centrally located in Uvita. You can walk to the beach and many eating establishments. We loved Carlitos. Awesome margaritas! Strong and delicious! Also the Le French Café. Lovely breakfasts and lunches. And I believe soon they will be opened for dinner! Check out Gusto up the mountain for sunset and great Italian food. The couple moved from near Tuscany. Home made pastas.
Now back to the accommodations. We absolutely loved the pool. It was just cool enough to cool off and warm enough to walk right in. My favourite spot to hangout. We weren’t there for vacation, my husband was working every day. It has a great outdoor space for him to work and excellent wifi
