Casa Trogon has two private suites and a PRIVATE pool for guests to enjoy privacy.
Located in Costa Rica’s southern pacific zone, this newly built home has everything you could want when visiting Costa Rica’s Osa (south pacific region). Great location with easy access (no 4×4 needed).
Additionally, we can offer a private walking tour to a little known waterfall that is nearby (extra fee). High-speed internet is also available. (Although you may not want to tell your boss)

Great location, far from the noisy towns but at the same time a quick drive to many attractions.
The area is very rural, lots of animals and insects. Gotta watch out for the ants outside and the cane frogs. We visited with two small dogs and they got bit by ants and almost bit a cane frog which would have been disastrous, but that’s just part of being in contact with nature and has nothing to do with the property nor the owners.
Do keep in mind they use an energy saving system for the AC and it can be tricky to get used to how it works.
The pool cleaning crew came twice during our stay which was a nice gesture as leaves from the nearby plants can get it dirty very quickly.
Overall it was a nice, quiet and relaxing stay, at a very reasonable distance driving to main attractions.

Property was exactly as described and in the photos. Having the private pool was great. Loved hearing the birds while having coffee outside. Osa Property Management was very responsive and very helpful. I didn't have any problems, but had a couple of questions about things and they responded within minutes. The guidebook was very helpful. I am a repeat customer of Osa Property properties and I know the houses will be in good shape and as described. I will definitely keep this property on my short list of places to use in the future (and I will be back, it's beautiful!).

Hermosa propiedad en la montaña, pero cerca de todo. Despertar cada mañana con el canto de las aves es simplemente perfecto. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unas descansadas vacaciones. El servicio al cliente es super bueno, te envían toda la información por lo que no hay casi preguntas que hacerles y las dudas que tuvimos las contestaron inmediatamente. Lugar recomendado, lejos del bullicio, tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza, solitario, limpio, con todas las comodidades tal como lo describe el anuncio. Recomendado para aquellas personas que les gusta el silencio y los sonidos de la naturaleza, se observan muchas aves, cerca de la casa se perchan lapas y otras aves.
No está tan cerca de las playas, ni de otros servicios básicos como farmacias o supermercado, sin embargo en el pueblo existen pulperías.
Los anfitriones responden de manera rápida a todas las consultas, envían información detallada del alojamiento, su uso y servicios de la zona. También atendieron de manera oportuna eventualidades que se me presentaron. Lugar hermoso para una vacaciones en familia relajadas y rodeados de naturaleza.

Si quieres pasar algunos días con mucha tranquilidad fuera del bullicio de la ciudad, te recomiendo este lugar. La casa es muy bonita, está muy iluminada, la cocina está full equipada, los cuartos están bien distribuidos, con aire acondicionado, cada uno con su baño, las camas son confortables, además tienen juegos de mesa que hacen divertidas las noches, la piscina es muy relajante, y la vista a las montañas es maravillosa.
El cuarto de pila está completo con su lavadora, secadora y te dejan jabón.
La comunicación con el anfitrión es 100% positiva, en todo momento estaba pendiente de nuestra comodidad y necesidades.
A la entrada del lugar hay un supermercado donde encuentras todo lo necesario para pasarlo bien.
La seguridad del lugar es muy buena.
Definitivamente lo recomiendo … pasamos con mi familia una semana de fin de año maravillosa.

My friends and I loved it here! We had the whole place to our own, it was in a private location but close to everything we needed! We were less than 30 minutes away from the beaches and the host even left us fruit on the table, which is so sweet! Pool was awesome, beds were comfy and we felt safe. Would definitely book again!

The place was great. The Host was wonderful. We arrived a bit late and they helped us find the entrance. We had a small pool problem and that same day they sent someone to fix it right away. We will definitely visit again

The house was clean and comfortable, the pool delightful and cleaned twice a week, and the air conditioning in the bedroom made comfortable sleeping possible. This is a perfect location to be able to reach the far SW of CR; car necessary. Pura Vida

La propiedad es igual a las fotos, muy cómoda y fácil de llegar. El host siempre estuvo en comunicación conmigo y respondió a todas mis preguntas. La piscina es privada solo para nosotros. Definitivamente la recomiendo y me alojaría de nuevo acá.

suite à une problématique de mon côté, j'ai canceller trop vite la propriété et même si c'était payer et que je me suis rendu au bureau de Osa Property, je n'ai pas pu retourner dans la maison même si celle ci n'était pas louer, déçu qu'il n'ont respecter l'entente de payement car j'avais déjà payer depuis longtemps et il m'ont dit que ce n'était pas remboursable. j'ai demander s'il y avait chaise longue pour l'extérieur et sans réponse et ceci depuis la première journée. mais très belle maison et bel entretien exterieur et piscine.

La ubicación es cercana a Ciudad Cortes y a menos de 30 minutos de playas como Uvita o Ventanas, lugar tranquilo, no es adecuado para más de 4 ocupantes principalmente adultos y no hay señal telefónica, pero el lugar tiene internet.

It was very good the house is comfortable and the pool is great, but I think it would be good to have TV via satellite at least and not only netflix or youtube. The wi-fi connection was not the best and the kolbi cellphones never worked in the area.

The location was convenient. Less than 10 minutes to Ojochal.
The staff at Osa Property Management were extremely helpful with booking our tours and providing restaurant recommendations.
Safe and Easy
We liked that it was only about 1/4 mile on gravel road and the rest was pavement. Great location.

We looked at a lot of larger and more expensive homes, before deciding on Casa Trogon. We are extremely pleased we chose this home.
It was everything we wanted - good WiFi, Satellite TV, private pool and great location, all at an affordable price.

Beautiful Home and Location
We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica at Casa Trogon! The house was quaint and homey, in a great location, and had all the amenities that we had hoped. The pool was also a great addition and perfect for those hot Costa Rican days.
Nick and Abigail were great and very helpful during our trip. They were always friendly and accessible if we ever needed them.
Overall, we had an amazing time in Costa Rica and will definitely by going back in the years to come!

A home away from home!
The house is easy to get to and the caretakers are always available to help you out. The house is in a small community with down to earth, friendly neighbors. It is close to all kinds of activities such as zip lines, horseback riding, birdwatching, and of course the beaches and national parks. The food at the little restaurant next to the fish market is delicious! Thanks Nick! We had a great time!
