The place was very quaint, many Great restaurants near buy, spent time in joying the ocean at two different locations. Beautiful, warm and enjoyable. The property pool could have been heated. But still was refreshing. Waking up to the birds and roosters was quit enjoyable. The tacos were very friendly, never felt threatened or scared. Some of the off roads adventure were very interesting… mush rent a 4 wheel drive Vehicle. Enjoy Ojochal..

We really enjoyed our stay in Uvita! The house was very clean and well stocked. We especially loved the pool and the convenient location close to the beach and restaurants. The only downside was that there was only AC in the downstairs room. The upstairs can get pretty warm, even with fans. It did cool off a bit at night, but adding a second AC unit upstairs would make this place perfect Response: Thank you very much for your great review and for taking the time to write it. Great property, located in the mountains with a very nice ocean view. Lots of birds. The house was just as described in the photos, everything was beautiful and clean. Would recommend! Thanks!

This place is paradise! It is even better than the photos! All of the bedrooms are designed with the views in mind so you wake up and see tropical flowers, the pool, and coast in the distance. You could sit out by the pool and feel immersed in nature with tons of butterflies/hummingbirds flying around with the sounds of toucans in the nearby trees.
Property management company was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process
We had a few issues with power outages(<2hrs at a time) and water outages (twice at >12 hrs at a time.) It seemed like the water issues were unusual because the property company offered to move us to another property and offered a discount for the time that we were without. Internet was super reliable the whole time.
It was our first time in Costa Rica so with some flight delays, customs being longer than expected (2hrs), and the drive from SJO being longer than expected (>3hrs) we arrived later than expected. You definitely need 4×4 for the last 1km.

Casa Big Sky is advertised as having ocean view, well, it doesn’t have. It is advertised being a five minute walk from the beach, count for 10-15
It is located directly at the road, therefore noisy
All the rest is perfect, interior design, equipment of the kitchen, very clean and very friendly local staff

This is a superb rental. The house is short walk to the best surfing beach in Dominical area, maybe 300 yds to beach.
It was impeccably clean and the area was quiet. The small pool was a welcome soak after surfing, hiking etc.
Highly recommend this rental.

While the interior is a bit dated and tired, the outside space more than makes up for it. This villa is nestled in the rainforest and surrounded by lush vegetation. Yes, the cicadas are very loud in Jan/Feb, but you it doesn’t take long to get used to it. The management was very responsive and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d choose to stay in this villa again.

The villa is more impressive in real life than the pictures. The views are out of this world. We saw monkeys, toucans, macaws and a bunch of other wildlife hanging out by the property. All the rooms have AC and they provide all the necessities for cooking. You won’t regret this place. It’s also close to so many beautiful waterfalls and beaches. Don’t hesitate to book this place.

Thdi place was beautiful. Modern clean and perfect. Just hard to find they need to add a sign on the road… But the place was magical. We stayed for 3 nights. KIDS LOVED IT. The pool was a Big WIN. THE PLACE WAS PERFECTLY SET UP FOR THE 4 ODNUS.
