Book it!! It was an exceptional stay. The place is beautiful and the fresh fruit was a great addition! The pool was exactly what we needed after a fun day out! My only advice is to arrive before dark because it’s pitch black with very little light. Bring a flashlight and print your directions because you will likely lose service when approaching the residence. All in all 10/10

This house is amazing! This was our 4th trip to Costa Rica as a family and we have stayed in many VRBO’s over the years. This was hands down our favorite. While the house is up a dirt road, it is a road in good condition for Costa Rica and we never even used our 4 WD. The layout, the pool, the amenities, the kitchen, everything was great. We had a couple little issues that happened during off hours for the hosting company, they responded very quickly and I would rate their communication at 5 stars. We did however, have to do the fixes ourselves, but luckily they were small.We saw a few toucans and a couple of agouti’s but that was the extent of the wildlife. The view from the many outdoor areas is amazing and includes a beautiful view of the ocean. This home is in fantastic condition. We loved the many cooking appliances and utensils. Very well stocked for cooking at home. The hosting company does a stellar job with the cleaning, I am very particular and I had 0 issues with their cleaning.My only real constructive criticism is that the beds are a bit firm and the pillows really soft. We have found however, that this is typical for the area. I guess in the US we like to sleep a bit softer.I would absolutely book this home again. Response: Thank you for the review! The house is very spacious, perfect for families. equipped with everything you need, the only area that I would say needs improvement would be in the living room, AC is necessary , otherwise everything is excellent💯

Everything was perfect! It was quite the adventure to get there up the mountain! 4×4 required for sure! Hard to communicate via online messages only. And just wished they would’ve replaced three of the 5 broken chairs on the patio. Clean house and big home.

Absolutely stunning property with spectacular views and wildlife galore! We were sad we had to leave. 100% need a 4×4 to get up the hill to the property but no problem with if you don’t mind a little bumpy road adventure. This was a fun landing spot that could accommodate my entire family. We really enjoyed the plunge pool. Beds were comfy and the fridge made great amounts of ice, very important for us gringos. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back some day.

Home was clean and tidy and equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. I still can’t get used to not flushing toilet paper, but this is not the only property where that is not allowed. I wish property owners would install/upgrade their plumbing to allow for flushing of used toilet paper, as I feel it very unsanitary to have soiled TP in the bathroom during a visit. My only other issue with this property is the check-in process was a bit cumbersome. We did not get check-in details until after our check-in time (3:00PM), but the problem was that we arrived a few minutes early to the property and the property manager communicates through WhatsApp (no WiFi or internet service at the property location). So, in order to get the check-in information, we had to drive several miles down the road to get cell service to be able to communicate with the property manager via WhatsApp, and then drive back to the property to access the house. It would have been nice to already have the check-in information (or at least the WiFi info to be able to communicate with the property manager upon arrival) before driving outside of cell service. Other than the above, this rental was good and we would consider staying again in the future.

Regarding the plumbing: that is an issue for the entire country, as Costa Rica does not currently have waste water treatment plants for homes to connect into. Hopefully that didn’t impact your rating that you gave us, as that is entirely out of the control of any property owner in the entire region. In regards to the check in process: You were provided with the check-in instructions via the digital guidebook link on September 30th – almost 6 weeks in advance. On October 1st you acknowledged that you had received all of the information. You wrote back “Perfecto! Appreciate the information.” That information clearly stated to you the check-in and arrival process. On November 10, the day of arrival, we sent a note to you at 7:48 am confirming the information and map location. Again, we’re sorry we weren’t clearer but we were under the assumption it was understood by your comments. Pura vida! Osa Property Management

We loved our stay! This condo is perfectly located between the path to the pools and the path to the beach. The condo was very clean and well equipped and looks just like the pictures. The property is surrounded by forest and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We awoke each morning to the sound of howler monkeys, and each evening the songs of toucans, Montezuma oropendolas, and other birds filled the air.

Tom and Christine of Jaguar Property Management were very helpful and responsive from the first time we contacted them through our final checkout. (Thank you!)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Pura Vida!

The only item to note is that the toilet in the master bedroom is not really “en suite”, but “in suite”; meaning, there is no door.
