Honestly, we cannot say enough good things about Casa Aventura. It’s even more beautiful — spacious, open, light — than in the pictures. It is immaculately clean, with breathtaking views, modern amenities (hooray for A/C and laundry facilities!), and the most perfectly convenient (yet somehow also wonderfully secluded) location. It truly surpassed our expectations in every way.

FANTASTIC three week stay! This is our 4th trip to Costa Rica and this was a great choice for a large group. W e had new groups each week. The house is minimalist style and really spread out. The kitchen is large and wide open to the living area and pool area. The beds are comfortable and having 5 bathrooms was perfect. The Casita is separate and very private yet only a few steps away. Wifi worked great, washer/dryer were so helpful, and having a backup generator was great when the power went out. There were plenty of towels and dishes, although we did go buy wine glasses and cleaning supplies at the local store, along with extra garbage bags and paper towel. Just FYI. 4×4 car was required but I only put it on once during a storm. The space, the privacy, the location….all 10 stars. The management company helped with an in-house chef, in-house massages on the pool deck(!), and helping us hire the cleaning crew once/week to help. I will be back and ask for this house! If your looking for a great place to stay on your vacation to Costa Rica book this place. Very clean and has all the necessary amenities provided. Located just minutes from downtown Quepos and tons of amazing restaurants. If you’re missing anything the grocery store is just around the corner and has everything. Plenty of secure parking. Kick back n relax by the pool and pavilion. Don’t hesitate book your next stay in paradise.

Everything about this Ojochal home was perfect. My husband and I loved every moment. Warm pool, beauty view, immaculately clean, great kitchen for preparing meals but also close to many delicious restaurants and grocery shops. Citrus, Halyconia, Mosaic, Las Alturras were some of our favourites. Also short drive to Playa Tortuga and Playa Ballena. Don’t hesitate to book this great home! Super hosts Tom and Christine helped us with all our questions. Could not have been a better experience!

Great new house.
Well appointed, with a great pool and social area.
Easy walk to the beach.

The place was in a secluded area so I deff recommend renting a car and not driving at night since there is no street lights. The beach was not really a swimming beach more like a surfers beach which we could not enjoy . Overall the house was nice and peaceful Response: Mildred – we are very sorry that you gave us a 3-star review. We were in constant communication with you (as you did not read the Guidebook) and addressed all of your issues. There is a street light right on the lot corner of the house, and we there is sensor lighting outside ensuring the property is always lit up, so I’m not sure why you would say there are no street lights or lighting. It was a phenomenal place. Absolutely gorgeous and even better than the pics look wise. But as a nature person myself it can be very very scary. It’s stunning but at night it can be scary. Pitch black Costa Rican jungle sounds great but with a total blackout for a night, it showed us how real the jungle is. So if you truly love nature and everything in it this is a dream. Also the waterfall is worth it. It almost made me cry of the beauty.
