Casa cómoda con su piscina, tenía sus toallas para el uso de la piscina. Bien ubicada a los 150 metros de la playa. Lo único, porque uno no está acostumbrado es que no tiene cochera, a los carros no les pasó nada los días que estuvimos en la casa.

We had a few issues with this property and they impacted our visit. The home was definitely closed up for a time and was super musty. I know this sounds picky, but this is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a property and mentioned the stale smell and overall feeling of inattention. The washer and dryer were in a closet outside, which was not an issue, except the dryer was so disgusting and rusted I felt like we needed a tetanus shot to use it. No exaggeration. We sent a picture to our friends back home and they were absolutely disgusted as well. The property is in a “complex” behind a security gate. The attendants were so polite and attentive, but the other condos around us were all covered.with security bars on their windows. I walked the property one time, and filmed it. It was a beautiful ghost town. So eerie. All of the people who lived in the units stayed locked inside. It was so quiet and “secured”. Literally, bars on windows. I walked by another unit and the lady inside ran up and drew the curtains as I walked by. We had just come from La Fortuna and another complex. I gave that location a 5 star rating. I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful. I promise. We could not sign into the apps on the TV to watch the app based programs. Additionally, the dishwasher did not consistently work. I have videos I sent the management showing how it did not have power to it and would not turn on, and I was told it might be “user error”. I HATE to give a negative review.

Beautiful house with exceptional views. Kitchen well equipped for all our needs. Even had beach towels and beach chairs which came in very handy as well as a secured lock room to secure all our belongings. House was very clean and beds were very comfortable.

The only issue we faced was late arrival. Jaguar Management clearly states not to arrive after 8pm and unforrunately we did. We travelled early morming from Canada and arrived at San Jose by 1:30pm. After clearing customs (1hour), picking up rental car (1hour), getting out of San Jose (45 min) and driving for 3.5+ hours and stopping for a quick bite to eat, we didnt make it by 8pm. Jaguar sent us some pictues of where to turn, plus we had their directions but still couldn’t find the house after hours of driving around in the dark. We gave up at 1:30am and drove back to Uvita to find another place to sleep for the night. Luckily, we met someone who had a friend that owned a hostel. By 2:30am we were finally settled in for the night. A long day indeed. We were shown the way to the house the next morning.

Word of caution, if you think you may arrive after 8pm then dont stay here your first night because its extremely hard to find by yourself in the dark.

Hello Teresa, we are so glad you loved your stay at beautiful Casa Sea Esta in the charming town of Ojochal. There is so much to do and see in our area!! We have dozens of tours for adventurers and those who just want to chill, tons of nature activities, pristine beaches and waterfalls, and have many excellent restaurants close by. Yes, we explain our meeting time policy in our Welcome Email (sent at the time of booking), and again in our Meeting Email (sent just prior to arrival). Your flight arrived at 1:30pm. Most guests arrive 5.5 -6 hours later after customs, getting the rental car, stopping to get a bite to eat and grocery shopping. That should have put you in our area around 7:30pm. At 9:45pm you messaged us to say “we’re on our way” and assured us you could find the house because you had stayed in our area numerous time before. This was against our advice to please stay the night somewhere en route, so you could arrive safe and refreshed early the next morning. We drove to the house to turn on lights and fans for you, and sent you a photo of each of the five turn-offs leading to the house, with a GPS/Google Map/WhatsApp location of each turn off, and also at the home. Unfortunately we were asleep when you finally arrived in Ojochal at 11pm, as we had to meet a guest for check out very early the next day. We feel so badly that you got lost…we did everything possible to prevent this from happening. This is why we meet our guests in town, and always escort them to the property so they are not stressed out, or get lost as you did. We hope you return soon to see us again in Paradise. This home, the views, and the wildlife interactions create an experience like no other. The home offers comfort in every aspect , and Ifeatures a modern design with high end features throughout. You are actually in the jungle and can hear the toucans sing, see the macaws fly, and watch the monkeys play. It is beyond amazing. The home is so perfect, we found it hard to leave and view the rest of Manuel Antonio. We will definitely make it an annual destination.

The home is lovely but the windows could use a good cleaning. Also furniture has seen better days – just really worn. And glass doors can be a little difficult to lock. Lastly, mgmt team responds quickly but doesn’t always follow thru… msgd them twice about a couple things, said they would send someone but never did…

The location of this place is amazing. We loved it so much much–the pool, the waterfall, the well appointed bathrooms, etc. We had a slight issue the power and the AC, but the host was so responsive and helpful–which was the perfect way to handle it. Great experience, the house was beautiful and exactly as described. We had absolutely no issues during our stay. The host was extremely kind and helpful, I highly recommend staying here as it is in a very good location and we saw some cool wildlife surrounding the property!

The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to manage our 4 adults and 2 children group. The hosts were excellent!! They provided clear instructions for meeting them to access the property and were very responsive to any of our questions. Since there had been a lot of rain just prior to and even during our visit the road in was quite rough, we were advised to have a 4×4 vehicle and it was good advice, as a result, we had no problems. The house was everything we could have wanted and the pool was great fun for the kids.
