Featured Costa Rica Vacation Rentals

We give just a mediocre valuation because we experienced a mixture of good and bad experiences. We were confronted with a lot of technical problems that could only partly solved.

The good side: Our contact person, Steven, turned out to be very ambitious and helped us quickly as soon as he could. For example he replaced a completely rotten coffee maker by a new one. He also cared for two non functioning bedside lamps and for several other lamps and fans that could not be switched on.

The bad side: There were several structural problems far beyond Stevenˋs possibilities. Just some examples: We had a stereo system that gave absolutely no sound and a TV with no pictures nor sound. A technician told us that it was not connected, neither to the internet nor to an antenna. What did thy do about that? Nothing! The terrace door could not be locked, because the lock was broken. What did they do?Again: nothing! Many times Steven gave us advices, one day later OSA office contacted us to tell us exactly the opposite. To us it seems like the right hand in this company does not know what the left does.

Conclusion: The prices of OSA are top level, their service is not!

The house itself is beautiful as well as the location in the middle of the jungle. The pool and the views are a dream! However, I would recommend some maintainance on the place (new sheets, kitchen tools, painting…) With a little improvements it would make a big change! Great hosts/communication. Response: We’re sorry you didn’t have a 5-star experience. When we asked you how everything was going you never mentioned anything and on check-out you wrote “thanks for everything and have a lovely day”. Had we known you needed some kitchen tool or you felt the sheets were not to standard, we would have addressed it right away. The Guest that checked out after you did not report any cleanliness issues, and we track comments/inspections and nothing was brought up before. We would hope you would advise your Hosts how your trip is going for future stays. Pura vida!

The pictures do not do this home justice. It is in absolute gem! Incredibly well furnished. The owner’s modern style is comfortable without feeling stuffy. The view is remarkable. The favorite part of our trip was looking out over the gardens trying to find wild life of which there were many; macaws, toucans, multiple types of coati, iguanas, hummingbirds, huge butterflies, agoutis, ant eaters and very large spiders that mostly kept to themselves. It is as clean a home in the jungles of Costa Rica that I’ve ever seen. The kitchen is excellently stocked for making a meal. The pool area was comfortable and refreshing. Nothing appeared “worn out” anywhere on site. AC worked great throughout. Thanks for letting us stay at your home! It was more than we could have asked for.

Diese Villa war einfach perfekt für unseren Aufenthalt in Ojochal! Wir waren zu sechst unterwegs und haben uns von Anfang an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist modern, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Die Räume sind großzügig, die Betten unglaublich bequem und der private Pool mitten im tropischen Grün war unser tägliches Highlight. Wir haben die ruhige Lage sehr genossen – ideal zum Entspannen, aber trotzdem nah an allem, was man braucht. Besonders empfehlen können wir die nahegelegenen Restaurants Citrus und Potz – exzellente Küche in wunderschönem Ambiente! Die Küche der Villa ist hervorragend ausgestattet, sodass wir auch gerne selbst gekocht haben. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – der Check-in war unkompliziert und die Kommunikation top. Fazit: Diese Villa ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die Luxus, Ruhe und Natur erleben möchten. 5 Sterne!

We absolutely loved our stay, location is far but the property is gorgeous. They were also very responsive and great hosts. They allowed us to check in early, if we needed something they helped out. If I ever came back, I’d stay here again! Words cannot describe the beauty of this place.

Amazing house! Great location, private but very close to Uvita center. Fully equipped, clean and great to go with the full family. Osa property management was always helpful and very quick to reply. We had a wonderful stay. The pool is great for cooling off any time right at your doorstep. Patio area was lovely to hang out in, rain or shine. Host was very responsive and helpful. Short walk to the national park beach. Restaurants in the area were great and walkable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
