Beautiful outdoor area with plunge pool (do not expect to do laps) – thats where we spent all our time. Covered area for when the rain comes as well so you can still be outside. AC + fans mean you can be comfortable inside too. Love the chill vibe of the town and easy to walk to beaches, groceries and restaurants. Thanks!

It was way more than we expected. The location is prime. There are so many things to do, especially if you like to adventure out. I highly recommend this property, and am looking forward to returning.

Rent this house!!! Our stay was absolutely unbelievable and worth every single penny. Not only is the house itself and every room stunning, but the views are the best I’ve ever seen at a rental (and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Pictures do not do it justice because there is no way to capture the beauty in a single picture. Almost 360 views of both the jungle and the ocean.
On top of that, there was amazing wildlife surrounding the house. During our stay, we interacted daily with a sloth (named David Lee sloth, but we found out that it is actually a female, so our group renamed her Treeyoncé), macaws, iguanas, and squirrel monkeys. The macaws and squirrel monkeys even let us feed them!
While we were there, OSA helped us set up various tours and gave us recommendations. They also had a representative there when we arrived so that they could give us a tour and show us how to operate some of the features in the home. They were always quick to respond to any of our needs or questions.

– You can still see and hear the main road, but it’s not too disturbing
– There are other flats next door, it is not quite as cut off as the marketing pictures sell it, but it is not bad either.
! After booking via Airbnb, you are contacted by a number via mobile phone and have to sign another rental contract via a website. At the same time, additional insurance cover costs another 40 dollars or 3-400 dollars are blocked on your credit card. The American way. I didn’t like that, and I made a comment straight away. However, I received reminders almost every day after booking to do this. The rental price was therefore immediately 10% more expensive.
– Small things in the flat, such as the TV not being set up, unstable WLAN did not bother us.
So only a small star deduction for a few little Things!

That is in the House Rules, but as an Airbnb Guest had you brought that to our attention that you didn’t want to take advantage of the additional damage protection we would have removed that requirement. That is a mandatory requirement for our Guests who book directly with us on our own website, but it is an option on Airbnb. Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this house is. You will be in awe as soon as you walk inside, the house was spotless clean, spacious and welcoming. We went with our 3 boys, who loved the space, the pool, and most importantly all the beautiful animals we spotted. We saw macaws, toucans, iguanas. We loved the accessibility too to Jaco, herradura and we truly enjoyed playa Blanca in punta Leona ( you can request access here ahead of time) it’s a beautiful white sand beach, where we spotted so many monkeys. This is a place worth staying and going back to. Pura Vida 🇨🇷❤️
