The property is surrounded by forest and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We awoke each morning to the sound of howler monkeys, and each evening the songs of toucans, Montezuma oropendolas, and other birds filled the air.

Tom and Christine of Jaguar Property Management were very helpful and responsive from the first time we contacted them through our final checkout. (Thank you!)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Pura Vida!

The only item to note is that the toilet in the master bedroom is not really “en suite”, but “in suite”; meaning, there is no door.

The house is just as in the description, due to the location it may be raining in the afternoons (the norm in this region of the country) but in the mornings, everything changes and if you go to the beach there is always sun.

This is a very beautiful house in a fabulous location. The view is beautiful, the house is large and very comfortable.
Check in was challenging because they told us arrive at 3 PM at the management office, which we did, but no one was there for over an hour as they went with other people to check them in first and no one was left in the office. And it was raining hard. When we got in to the house eventually, the cleaners were still there for another 3 hours, so that was weird. They also returned unannounced while we were out to go into the place to drop off towels. Again, not bad, just odd and slightly unnerving.
That said, we loved our stay. The beds are super comfortable and the home was very clean. The pool was really nice too and the grounds are very well kept. The road to the house is treacherous though, so be prepared for a very steep incline on a rough road. A tough car is a must.

The reason why the cleaners were still there was, if you recall, there was no water at the house for most of the afternoon due to an infrastructural issue that left the whole mountain without water. Therefore our cleaners had to wait until it was repaired. We are really sorry about that, but it was important we completed the home cleaning. The villa is great with a stunning view on the ocean. The pool was smaller than expected but still great. The management provides a very helpful website with instructions and recommendations on things to do. I highly recommend this place

The house was excellent. Everything we expected. Had our own personal tucan. Need a 4×4 on final stretch which we knew in advance.

The area is very nice and the house is very comfortable and beautiful, the pool is the ideal size and the steps and the balcony make it perfect for older adults who want to get into it. Much calm, privacy and security. Recommended 100%

Excellent space, very private, well equipped, clean

This home, the views, and the wildlife interactions create an experience like no other. The home offers comfort in every aspect , and Ifeatures a modern design with high end features throughout. You are actually in the jungle and can hear the toucans sing, see the macaws fly, and watch the monkeys play. It is beyond amazing. The home is so perfect, we found it hard to leave and view the rest of Manuel Antonio. We will definitely make it an annual destination.
