Our family stayed for a month and loved it! The house is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool was perfect for our 8 and 10 year old…they took their first swim around 6am and last swim around 8pm every night! Also, Christine and Tom (the property managers) are absolutely outstanding. The location is unbeatable. Steep drive up the mountain estates yields all the benefits. The view is unmatched. It sits in the middle of the rainforest near Tarcoles and has so much wildlife around it, we were astounded! A Tayra right next to the swimming pool one morning (a rare site for mammal lovers), many red macaws flying around the house all the time, toucan, a bird watcher’s dream! All the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Our group was well taken care of by Osa Property Management from beginning to end. Near Jaco for grocery runs if necessary. Great location for daily outings of all kinds. Super bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and common area! Laundry facilities, so we could reuse clothing and not pack as much. I can’t stop raving about Casa Majestica. My best experience in Central America to date!

Great spot. And value. The property management communicates very well and quickly. Lots of good info. Nice to have your own pool. Fully stocked. Everything worked well. Quiet and private. About 2km from stores, etc so best to have a car (4×4), but in general you need a car in Ojochal anyways as everything is spread out. Recommend. Response: It was an absolute pleasure to Host you! We had such a great time, the house was super beautiful, very roomy too. And they went all out with the AC units. The house is in a great location, super peaceful. Lots of macaws flying over the property. We will be coming back.

We spend a weekend in the house and it is a beutiful place, easy access and great views. Rooms are spacious, beds are confortable and you can find all you need in the kitchen.
Osa Property Management Staff was very helpfull before and during our stay.
However, the pool area needs some important safety improvements. The main stairways to access the pool area from the house does not have neither the proper dimensions, elevation or floor tile. Does not have any railing at all.
The floor tile around the pool does not have the proper nivelation and water accoumulates in some small sectors, which area very slippery.
I strongly recoment to the house owners to make some safety improvements to secure your visitors are safe, while enjoy your beautiful home.

My friends and I stayed for a week and LOVED the location and the privacy and being surrounded by the lush nature! The jungle is loud and there are some bugs but it’s fine. We spent a lot of time at Playa Linda which is an amazing beach about 12 min away from house. We stopped at good coffee about 9 min up the road often. We had fun eating at the local sodas and cooking at the house. Everything was stocked as we could’ve needed including fresh fruit upon arrival. We appreciated that the house was secure with two gates getting in and effective locks on doors in windows. You will 100% need a 4×4 vehicle to get up and down the road leading to house but as long as you’re going slow, we had no issues coming and going. The value of the house was great considering all it offers, pool was the perfect size, AC worked, no bugs in house, great layout, lots of space. Would recommend visiting the local waterfalls nearby and surrounding towns Uvita and Quepos. Would love to come back! Response: We’re sorry you didn’t have a 5-star experience. You did let us know you were frustrated that the technician had to enter the home to fix the A/C unit you were complaining about. Unfortunately, there’s no other safe way to fix an A/C unit without entering the home due to the electrical nature of the repair. The check-in was very easy and the concierge was very helpful. The location is a nice getaway outside of town. Yeah the grocery store is only about three minutes away and the marina is about eight minutes away.
