Es ist eine ganz wunderbare Unterkunft. Abgelegen und umgeben von wunderschönen Pflanzen und sehr vielen Tieren. Für Stadtkinder ist es aufjedenfall eine Herausforderung, insbesondere bei dem ersten Stromausfall in der Nacht, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell an die schöne Natur. Es sind einige Tiere – wie Geckos – im Haus. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist etwas sperrig, neben einem Allradwagen wird auch ein höheres Fahrzeug benötigt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

We had a lovely stay at this beautifully decorated house surrounded by rainforest. The views were spectacular and it was wonderful to swim and watch the astonishing bird life and butterflies go past. We did have a few long power cuts while we were there, especially in the evening, it would have been good to know they were a possibility to start with as we could have been prepared with more flashlights or charged up devices for what we needed! We got the hang of it in the end!

This was a great family space. The location was a bit far and no sunset views but very safe place.

There is an amazing ocean view that faces the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park. It’s a wonderful home base to explore our area’s many nature attractions, beaches, waterfalls, and tours. Casa de Lisa es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y descansar; una casa con todas las comodidades y un ambiente tranquilo. La piscina privada y la parrilla complementan perfectamente la estancia para quienes amamos el BBQ.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und bietet viel Privatsphäre. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und der Blick aufs Meer ist einfach traumhaft. The patio and pool was great. The showers and toilets had serious issues.
Ojochal is an up and coming area with a lot of developing going on. Unfortunately this property is located very close to the main avenue and there was a steady stream of construction vehicles.

Clean place as posted, location is great to reach several beaches. Hosts were very responsive.

We had an awesome time! Tom and Christine were wonderful hosts from start to finish. They answered all the questions As we were planning our trip and Took care of any of our needs While we were there. The house was exactly as advertised. What a beautiful spot! Ojochal is within a short drive of great restaurants, tours and beaches. There are many stores where you can buy supplies to get you through the week. If you are coming From North America the costs for Food is about the same. Some have mentioned the drive up to Cass Sea esta as challenging. It is a bit bumpy and there are some steep hills but you get used to it pretty quickly and Tom guides you up the first time. We went up and down everyday at least twice and at nighttime with no issues. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the main highway from up the hill. Another thing to mention about driving. Driving around Costa Rica was a pleasure. You get to see the countryside and explore on your own. We never once felt unsafe. On a map the distance and seem far but if you are used to road trips in North America, most drives are pretty short. Our drive from SAN José to Ojochal took about 3 1/2 hours. We left around 7:30 am drove about 2 hours, stopped at Manuel Antonio for a tour and drove the rest of the way To Ojochal to arrive for check in around 4. The stop made the drive seem very short. If you come here you will have a great time!
