It’s smaller than what the photos look like, but perfect for 2 people.
Felt safe and the neighbors were very friendly. Lovely small pool was perfect after a long day out.
Nice location outside of town.

Meine Frau und ich hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Unterkunft und der Pool waren sauber. Der Pool hatte eine sehr angenehme Temperatur. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und sehr hochwertige Einrichtung. Das absolute Highlight ist die Lage, die Aussicht und die Tierwelt in der direkten Umgebung. Wir haben verschiedene Affenarten, Nasenbären, Aras, Toucans, Agoutis gesehen und wurden von Brüllaffen an einem Morgen direkt im Baum neben uns geweckt – wirklich magisch. Wir haben die Unterkunft so sehr genossen, dass wir gar nicht mehr viel in Uivta unternommen haben, denn durch die Lage fühlt man sich wie im Nationalpark.
Für den Weg ist zu 100% ein 4×4 notwendig. Aber der Weg ist absolut machbar.

Aside from the house being absolutely gorgeous, the customer service was also exceptional. We were greeted in person by Henry, who took the time to walk us through the house and personally explain things. First time this has ever happened with any house. It’s usually an impersonal email, with instructions.
They actually create a group chat on the WhatsApp and are available to you 24-7.
I highly recommend booking this house when visiting Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

Not what you could expect
Casa Big Sky is advertised as having ocean view, well, it doesn’t have. It is advertised being a five minute walk from the beach, count for 10-15
It is located directly at the road, therefore noisy

Nous avons adoré la maison.
Elle était parfaitement propre, on s’y est tout de suite senti très à l’aise. Les indications pour s’y rendre étaient très claires!
La chambre des maîtres est majestueuse et que dire de la douche de la grande salle de bain attenante… avec vue sur les montagnes… wow! Il y a aussi un balcon privé où nous avons aimé prendre le café du matin avec la même belle vue.
Les enfants ont adorés la piscine.
La salle de lavage avec sécheuse est un plus.
L’espace cuisine, salon et salle à manger est bien conçu. On y a relaxé en famille… il y a beaucoup d’espace. Le 4×4 est absolument nécessaire, mais les vues sont si belle est le village d’Ojochal a une petite épicerie propre et pas trop dispendieuses que nous avons apprécié à environ 5-10 min.
J’y retournerais demain matin!
