Amazing stay so beautiful

The place was amazing – the only surprise was that the one bedroom had 2 beds not a king and the bathroom was outside of the bedroom! The site was advertising 4 king suites ! The house itself was ok. There was only place to eat for 3 people which was a problem for us as a family of 4. But it was quite well equipped. It was more than a 5 minute walk to the beach but it was convenient to many places in Uvita.
Our biggest problem was with the property management company. They were absolutely unresponsive to problems we had and when/if they did respond it was to let us know that nobody else had problems so it must have been just us. The master bath has some plumbing issues – standing water, immensely slow shower drain and as a result there was a massive mosquito infestation in the master bath. We killed a minimum of 30-40 mosquitos in the bathroom on a daily basis. We reached out to property management to let them know and never heard back. If I could offer advice, find a different management company to use that may be actually respond to issues.

Nadine, We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We would also like to to address your statement about the response time from Osa Property Management. When you contacted us about how your son was bitten by a spider on tour, we immediately sent you the location of the nearest medical center in relation to where you were. In addition, we asked if there was anything else we could do to help. We told you, “Call us if you need help on translation” [hospital] and you responded, “Great.” Regarding the mosquito issue: You contacted us on Sunday, December 26, at 5:27 pm and we responded at 5:52 pm. That evening (the same day – within hours of being contacted by you) a Property Manager visited the property to ascertain the situation and to resolve it. After the property manager left, you never contacted us again for the remainder of your trip. The day before check-out, we sent you a message wishing you a “Hope you are enjoying your stay” and you never responded. We provided you with quick service, and we apologized for the situation you encountered.

Descanso y tranquilidad. En la mañana escuchar los pájaros y verlos es toda una experiencia.

Magnifique villa, encore plus belle que sur les photos, dans un écrin de nature où l’on peut voir beaucoup d’animaux. La villa est très bien équipée, très propre et bien décorée. L’accès est difficile, 4×4 indispensable surtout en période de réfection de la route comme ce fut notre cas… mais cette vue sur le Pacifique se mérite! Petit problème technique rapidement réglé grâce à Gary, super communication avec l’agence. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la villa Nido et la recommandons à tous. Great home. Walkable to a few good restaurants and the beach. Construction next door took away from the daytime relaxation. They were metal framing the entire stay but we found ways to work around it.

Wonderful house and location. Bring binoculars, wake-up early, and bird watch pool side. We saw Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, Hummingbirds and many more. Howler monkeys are constantly reminding you that they are near. Lounge in the pool on the grounds or take a very short hike and lounge in the pool at the bottom of the cascade. The house layout is perfect for family or friends. The restaurants in the small village a few minutes away are all really good, and you’re close to several great beaches (Ventanas at low tide was our favorite). We absolutely love how vividly you described the Vista Cascada experience — from the poolside birding with macaws, parrots, toucans, and hummingbirds to the howler monkeys keeping you company throughout the day. It’s also wonderful to hear that the cascade pool hike, the local village restaurants, and Playa Ventanas at low tide all made your stay so well-rounded. The property was beautiful. This is a perfect property for a family. It’s situated far enough from noise pollution and close enough to get in some trouble at night ;). The grounds are exactly what you dream of Costa Rica looking like. Monkeys in the morning, colorful birds/lizards in the afternoon, and frogs calling at night. Awesome!
