If you like to be off the main tourist area, and have a beautiful secluded mountain retreat then this is your place. 4×4 is a must and that’s a good thing.

My husband & 2 adult children w/their significant others rented Casa Domical for 1 week. We were very happy with the accommodations & the village of Dominical. The master bedroom is large with a very comfy bed & 2 balconies. The only gripe I have is there was nowhere to hang your clothes. The one closet was locked, most likely w/the owner’s personal items, but there were plenty of drawers to use.
The Casa is well equipped with all that you need for preparing your meals. There is a cooler & folding chairs to bring to the beach which is just a short walk down the gravel road. There are towels for the pool but they are not for the beach. I found this to be inconvenient as there is not towel rental at the beach. I really dont want to have to bring towels in luggage or purchase them upon arrival. The pool water was a refreshing temp & we enjoyed having it when not at beach. There are large canopy type tents w/chairs & internet for rental on beach which we appreciated very much. The vendor named Hansel(sp?) was such a sweet friendly guy & a hard worker. We had fun with him & tipped him well. He gave us a large bag of prawns one day as a thank you! 😋
The people in & around Dominical were really friendly. There are many restaurants & bars to go to. If you prefer the resort or all inclusive type of vacation with large hotels than this spot is not for you. Our family like a boutique style accommodations & diy. Costa Rica is so beautiful & there is so much to see & do! We can’t wait to go back!!

Notre séjour s’est bien déroulé, la maison est grande et agréable.
Seul bémol pour nous, pas sécurisante avec un enfant de 3 ans. Une des vitrées ne ferme plus.
Mais dans l’ensemble, bonne adresse.

We loved the house from the moment we arrived.
It is centrally located in Uvita. You can walk to the beach and many eating establishments. We loved Carlitos. Awesome margaritas! Strong and delicious! Also the Le French Café. Lovely breakfasts and lunches. And I believe soon they will be opened for dinner! Check out Gusto up the mountain for sunset and great Italian food. The couple moved from near Tuscany. Home made pastas.
Now back to the accommodations. We absolutely loved the pool. It was just cool enough to cool off and warm enough to walk right in. My favourite spot to hangout. We weren’t there for vacation, my husband was working every day. It has a great outdoor space for him to work and excellent wifi
Things they need to do better. The kitchen needs a few more utensils, but in all fairness this was a brand new Airbnb and it is still getting established. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of this house. When you book here you will love your stay. We did!!!

L appartement est très bien. 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain et beaucoup de rangement. Belle terrasse et extérieure avec un bbq au propane. BBQ était neuf il manquait des ustensiles et des que j ai informé les proprios ils sont allés en acheter et livré la même journée. Beaucoup de serviettes pour la piscine et douche. De plus, à notre arrivée nous avions un gros panier de fruits frais, du café, un souvenir et des biscuits. Belle attention 🙂 Ojochal est un très bel endroit Lumineux, grand. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Toutes des petites maisons neuves une à côté de l autre. Par contre, il y a une bonne végétation qui délimite les terrains offrants de l intimité. Les colibris venaient nous visiter alors que nous étions assis sur les chaises de patio berçantes 🙂 À conseiller, nous retournerions sans hésiter.
