Absolutely incredible property. 10/10 view. Incredibly comfortable beds. Absolutely incredible experience. Birds, frogs, monkeys in the trees. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home during our trip. The road to the property is no joke, you absolutely need a 4×4 suv Absolutely 100% worth it.

Very extended introduction material and a lot of automatic messages before arrival. The house was comfortable and clean. WiFi was very slow and the host didn’t respond to that, among other things. But at the same time, we got a lot of automatic robot like messages about their service. That didn’t really match. We didn’t like the impersonal feeling we got during this stay. But the house itself lived up to good standards, except for the problems with ants in the kitchen.

The property is surrounded by forest and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We awoke each morning to the sound of howler monkeys, and each evening the songs of toucans, Montezuma oropendolas, and other birds filled the air.

Tom and Christine of Jaguar Property Management were very helpful and responsive from the first time we contacted them through our final checkout. (Thank you!)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Pura Vida!

The only item to note is that the toilet in the master bedroom is not really “en suite”, but “in suite”; meaning, there is no door.

The property was very hard to find. The address was missing the unit number. Not in any form of communication was the unit number available. When we called the host. The host was not aware or property management didn’t know. We had our uber driver help translate but we luckily just took a shot in the dark, literally and found the place.

We had a great time at Casita Quetzel! The location is incredible – close to the beach & grocery store & within walking distance of an excellent restaurant with very friendly staff. The house was clean & we particularly loved the floor plan with the bedrooms & baths separated by the living area. The pool is lovely & refreshing with beautiful landscaping. We will be back!

Fantastic place, amazing view, very clean, quiet, pool is perfect. Staff was very nice and friendly. Highly recommended.

This property was such a breeze to get to. A little shortcut around putting in the address is to put in the “lapa room”, which is right across the street. It was easy to get into and lock up. The home is beautiful, and well stock with anything that you could possibly need. It was definitely step up for extended, which be appreciated. It was a 20 to 30 minute walk to the surfing area. As well as a 15 minute walk to the whale tail. I would definitely stay here again.

we had an incredible stay here, was definitely a luxury stay. extremely comfortable, had everything we needed and more. surroundings were beautiful and sunsets here were gorgeous. easy access to good restaurants, both high end and local. host was kind enough to arrange birthday decor and cake for our arrival which was very nice. would stay here over and over again!
