9/10 Myself and 6 other friends stayed here for 10 days in June. We were here for a birthday weekend full of scuba diving and relaxation. Check in was easy – we met up with the property management company in Uvita on our way from SJO and were led directly to the AirBnb, shown around, and given some keys. The space was absolutely stunning. Private. Beautiful. The view from the pool – or really from any spot at all – was worth everything. Notable call-outs! • Not kidding – location is AWD mandatory. • The internet was giving multiple people ~25MBPs down. It also was only really useable on the ground level common areaof the main house to the pool – upstairs and in the downstairs rooms it shrunk to 3MBPs. • The two downstairs bedrooms of the main house share a bathroom that is entirely open – so open that it’s not possible to leave one bedroom without seeing someone using the toilet. Highly recommend not having more than one person/couple sharing the entire downstairs (2 bedroom) space.

This property is beautiful. The location is steps down the road from Dominical Beach and very accessible to see and do a lot of things. One block from Dominical restaurants, shops, and surfing…Easy drive to Quepos and Uvita. Very clean, lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, AC in all rooms that cooled the house nicely. We ran into a glitch the second day of our stay when the water went out for over 20 hours. With 7 people staying it was very hard not to be able to use the toilets, shower, cook, do the dishes…hence the 3 stars. I understand the water is controlled by a third party – but we should have been warned that this was a possibility and a contingency plan needed to be in place. A few hours I can work with, but almost a full day…not so much. When we contacted the management company they told us there was nothing they could do, but if it was still off the next day they would bring some water over. The hot water didn’t seem to recover – From Tuesday with no water until we left Thursday morning the hot water never came back on. While it was frustrating, it didn’t ruin our stay. The management company was responsive to our text messages and the little shops had bathrooms we could use. Friendly people and would visit again.

This home, set high up in the mountainous jungle, is the epitome of high end design and modern architecture. Every detail in the home, from the beautiful spacious bathrooms replete with natural stone, to the giant community style kitchen and living area, to the wonderfully comfortable king bedroom suites, feels not like a vacation rental, but instead a beautifully curated, high end home. Finally, the art and nearly 360-degree views in this home make each moment a special one. We’d gladly return and stay there again!
