The location was beautiful and the house well supplied and comfortable. We did have a 4 x 4 car which was needed with the steep, rough road. There are sharp drop offs on both sides of the house so I would not bring small children here but it was a very peaceful, beautiful retreat.

Loved the town, so may hidden gems. Lovely neighborhood for the home. Exactly as described. The only issue is the water pressure, it sputter and Can go from frigid to extreme heat, just be careful. The pool is great and the amenities are wonderful.

Great property with everything you need to make your trip to paradise cozy, cool and carefree! The host is very responsive and when one of the AC units wasn’t working and they quickly sent someone out to fix it. Lots of cute shops and restaurants and the beach are about a 5 minute walk away. Pura Vida!

We had a few issues with this property and they impacted our visit. The home was definitely closed up for a time and was super musty. I know this sounds picky, but this is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a property and mentioned the stale smell and overall feeling of inattention. The washer and dryer were in a closet outside, which was not an issue, except the dryer was so disgusting and rusted I felt like we needed a tetanus shot to use it. No exaggeration. We sent a picture to our friends back home and they were absolutely disgusted as well. The property is in a “complex” behind a security gate. The attendants were so polite and attentive, but the other condos around us were all covered.with security bars on their windows. I walked the property one time, and filmed it. It was a beautiful ghost town. So eerie. All of the people who lived in the units stayed locked inside. It was so quiet and “secured”. Literally, bars on windows. I walked by another unit and the lady inside ran up and drew the curtains as I walked by. We had just come from La Fortuna and another complex. I gave that location a 5 star rating. I am not trying to be rude or disrespectful. I promise. We could not sign into the apps on the TV to watch the app based programs. Additionally, the dishwasher did not consistently work. I have videos I sent the management showing how it did not have power to it and would not turn on, and I was told it might be “user error”. I HATE to give a negative review.

We were initially scheduled to stay at another house, but two days prior to our trip we were notified by OSA that the house was no longer available. We booked this vacation 4 months prior and we were traveling with a toddler and an infant so the timing was not good. OSA offer us an alternate location in the same area and the minute we walked in the house we loved it. There are a couple of things that can be done to improve the total experience, ie: the outdoor furniture, although is looks great with the decor it is not practical and can potentially be an issue. And although we had an issue our first night there OSA was quick to respond. Our host Henry was the best! He was very informative and provided us with information of the local area and he was quick to stop by whenever we needed his assistance. All in all my family and I enjoyed our stay at The Lone Star Hacienda and we would definitely stay there or at other locations that are manage my OSA Property Management.

This home, set high up in the mountainous jungle, is the epitome of high end design and modern architecture. Every detail in the home, from the beautiful spacious bathrooms replete with natural stone, to the giant community style kitchen and living area, to the wonderfully comfortable king bedroom suites, feels not like a vacation rental, but instead a beautifully curated, high end home. Finally, the art and nearly 360-degree views in this home make each moment a special one. We’d gladly return and stay there again!

My family and I had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and spacious apartment that has riveting views of the ocean, mountains and is a minute walk to the pool or the ocean. We loved the spacious kitchen and a private patio with an ocean view. OSA property management has been super helpful responsive, helpful and cordial. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Our stay at the Osa Property was absolutely stunning. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The privacy, breathtaking views, beautiful pool, and luxurious home made it truly unforgettable. We highly recommend it to any couple looking for a perfect escape. Although we encountered a few minor hiccups during our stay, the Osa team was incredibly professional, kind, and responsive — they went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly. We would absolutely stay at one of their properties again. Easy 5 stars.
