We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this estate. The home and view are stunning. Maggy and the home’s caretaker are super responsive and quickly managed any issues that arose. It’s a bit out of the way but that was one of the things we loved about the home. It was peaceful and just so beautiful. We were comfortable staying there and would highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

This is a cute little house, but it is very remote, which is great for the wildlife. There were lots of birds, and it was very peaceful. There’s only air conditioning in the bedrooms, so it’s tough to keep the whole place cool. The kitchen was stocked well and the outdoor shower in the master bedroom was awesome. The pool was a bit murky, so only two of the three of us actually went in it briefly. They responded right away and offered to send someone out, but we were only there for two nights, so we didn’t bother with it. We were also sent links from a company called “Truvi” outside of Airbnb, asking us to fill out a contract and pay a $500 deposit. Once I questioned this and talked to Airbnb they no longer required it. I felt this was a little sneaky and against the rules of Airbnb. We left the place spotless, so hopefully there isn’t any backlash for my honest review. If you are looking for a peaceful setting and not worried about being close to things, this is an ideal place. Response: Hola Paul! We’re sorry you felt our optional damage waiver was sneaky as it is clearly defined in the House Rules here in Airbnb. We suggest you read House Rules before booking any home on Airbnb. In terms of the pool – we are very sorry for that – as you mentioned we offered to get it fixed right away, but you refused. Again we are sorry for the inconvenience. Pura Vida !!

The property is beautiful. We saw many birds and animals throughout the day. The gate locks which is great for piece of mind. The neighbors are friendly. Grocery stores are very close. We did not rent a vehicle but still were able to walk to the beach and waterfalls nearby. The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars for accuracy of listing was because it said it had AC units. Two fans were provided in each room, but no AC units were present.

One clarification, per our (property management company) conversation with Vrbo, and confirmed with Vrbo, the listing does not state that there are A/C units. We have managed the home for several years and the home has never had A/C units. We hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful outdoor area with plunge pool (do not expect to do laps) – thats where we spent all our time. Covered area for when the rain comes as well so you can still be outside. AC + fans mean you can be comfortable inside too. Love the chill vibe of the town and easy to walk to beaches, groceries and restaurants. Thanks!

If you are looking for a private space surrounded by nature and with incredible ocean views, then this is the perfect stay for you! The pool and views were incredible, and the property as a whole was extremely clean. The team was extremely responsive and helpful the entire time, even checking in throughout our stay. The in-unit laundry was a huge plus given that we were near the tail end of our trip. This was not an issue for us, but note that there are many steps to get to the unit from the parking area as the property is on a steep hill. Overall, highly recommend this property and already looking forward to our next stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Villa Peace. The manager team were amazing.
