Launas place exceeded our expectations and the pictures do not do it justice. The space is large and well furnished to a high standard which we have found is quite rare in Costa Rica. The kitchen is very well equipped. My only gripe is with the TV in the main room which needs replacing as it keeps crashing and needs rebooting constantly. Jaco beach is literally a 1 min walk and a lovely beach to surf and even swim. The town is a 15 min walk. Recommended!

Rent this house!!! Our stay was absolutely unbelievable and worth every single penny. Not only is the house itself and every room stunning, but the views are the best I’ve ever seen at a rental (and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Pictures do not do it justice because there is no way to capture the beauty in a single picture. Almost 360 views of both the jungle and the ocean. On top of that, there was amazing wildlife surrounding the house. During our stay, we interacted daily with a sloth (named David Lee sloth, but we found out that it is actually a female, so our group renamed her Treeyoncé), macaws, iguanas, and squirrel monkeys. The macaws and squirrel monkeys even let us feed them! While we were there, OSA helped us set up various tours and gave us recommendations. They also had a representative there when we arrived so that they could give us a tour and show us how to operate some of the features in the home. They were always quick to respond to any of our needs or questions. Response: Thank you Rachel! It was an absolute pleasure to Host you and your group. Great place to stay, very clean and safe. With a great kitchen for cooking, lovely swimming pool and great bathrooms. Easily walkable to the beach. Good for families, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

Somos ticos disfrutando de nuestro país y el alojamiento fue perfecto para eso. Esta muy bien equipado, sobre todo la cocina. La cama deliciosa igual que la ducha, la piscina también. Un ambiente muy privado a pesar de que está en la orilla de la calle por lo que si se puede escuchar ruido pero no se ve nada hacia adentro. Está muy cerca tanto de las playas, el comercio y el Parque Nacional Marino Ballena. Para tomar en cuenta, la cocina es de gas por lo que el horno igualmente funciona a gas. El camino es bastante empedrado, y hay 2 entradas, Waze por alguna razón envía para entrar por la peor de las dos, por lo que decidimos utilizar la Escuela Playa Hermosa como punto de referencia para que nos enviara por el camino que tiene una parte con asfalto, ya cuando se sube por ahí ya Waze redirecciona bien al alojamiento. Disfrutamos muchísimo de la fruta fresca y el café que nos dejaron. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

très belle villa avec une superbe cuisine, des chambres réparties de chaque côté, une terrasse bien agencée, une petite piscine, un magnifique jardin avec de beaux aménagements.

de très bons restaurants au alentours.
On s y sent bien.

Casa Big Sky is advertised as having ocean view, well, it doesn’t have. It is advertised being a five minute walk from the beach, count for 10-15
It is located directly at the road, therefore noisy
All the rest is perfect, interior design, equipment of the kitchen, very clean and very friendly local staff

Keep going back to Osa Management for the best service around. This property was great, just as advertised.

Vi bodde i dette huset den siste uken av vårt 3 ukers opphold i Costa Rica. Det var den perfekte plassen å slappe helt av på før hjemreise. Huset var vakkert og utsikten enestående! Masse håndklær og fersk frukt ved ankomst. Barna elsket bassenget! Vi handlet på mini markedet rett nedenfor huset ved behov. Et stort og bra supermarked ved Dominical. Vi hadde en fantastisk opplevelse ved Burgerplassen i nærheten av huset (ned bakken og 2 min kjøring til høyre). Vi drømmer oss tilbake til disse magiske dagene av vår ferie! Merk at man må gå ut av hoveddøren og ned en trapp for to av soverommene. Takk for oss!

Eine ganz wunderbare Unterkunft, die wir absolut empfehlen können! Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war ausgezeichnet und sehr aufmerksam waren auch das frische Obst und der Kaffee bei Ankunft. Gut ausgestattete Küche und Grill, alles sehr sauber und schön. Wir waren drei Nächte zu zweit hier und ganz begeistert, es war eines der schönsten Unterkünfte unserer Reise.
