I enjoyed my stay at Villa Peace. The manager team were amazing.

This is a cute little house, but it is very remote, which is great for the wildlife. There were lots of birds, and it was very peaceful. There’s only air conditioning in the bedrooms, so it’s tough to keep the whole place cool. The kitchen was stocked well and the outdoor shower in the master bedroom was awesome. The pool was a bit murky, so only two of the three of us actually went in it briefly. They responded right away and offered to send someone out, but we were only there for two nights, so we didn’t bother with it. We were also sent links from a company called “Truvi” outside of Airbnb, asking us to fill out a contract and pay a $500 deposit. Once I questioned this and talked to Airbnb they no longer required it. I felt this was a little sneaky and against the rules of Airbnb. We left the place spotless, so hopefully there isn’t any backlash for my honest review. If you are looking for a peaceful setting and not worried about being close to things, this is an ideal place. We suggest you read House Rules before booking any home on Airbnb. In terms of the pool – we are very sorry for that – as you mentioned we offered to get it fixed right away, but you refused. Our stay at this luxurious 5-bedroom retreat in Dominical, Costa Rica, was spectacular. Nestled on a mountainside with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the property provided an unforgettable blend of opulence and natural beauty. We were captivated by the modern design, lush tropical surroundings, and the serene sounds of ocean waves and wildlife. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the stunning 25-meter infinity pool, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living spaces. Whether we were enjoying a morning swim, relaxing in the jacuzzi, or gathering around the firepit in the evening, every moment felt like a dream. Floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to take in panoramic views from every corner of the home, and the thoughtfully designed amenities added immense comfort and convenience. Truly an experience of a lifetime.

The house was excellent. Everything we expected. Had our own personal tucan. Need a 4×4 on final stretch which we knew in advance.

Casa impecable, es más cómoda de lo que parece y éramos 5 personas. La piscina es pequeña pero cumple su función, la atención un 10/10 y en valoración general lo mismo. Único detalle, privacidad con las casas colindantes, a nosotros no nos molesta, pero habrá quien busque estar más ” a solas”. La electricidad se va por un minuto a veces, pero eso es una situación externa. Gracias, volveríamos encantados.

This was our first visit to Uvita, and we chose this location for its proximity to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. There are two stores within walking distance and a restaurant at the end of the street. The beach is just a few minutes away, while the Whale’s Tail is about a 45-minute walk via the beach or adjacent trail. We loved the quiet street and felt very safe during our stay. The home’s layout was perfect—with split bedrooms and a spacious, open kitchen/living area. Our favorite feature was the covered back patio and private pool. We spent hours outside swimming, listening to music, and relaxing under cover during the occasional rain. The outdoor half bath was also a great bonus. While in Uvita, we recommend visiting La Uvita Perdida for dinner—go about an hour before sunset or during low tide for amazing views of the Whale’s Tail. We would stay here again if we’re ever back in Uvita.
