Outstanding stay for the three of us was very nice. The house was clean, well equipped and was a great Uvita location with easy access to an number of places to eat and very close to the beach! OSA was helpful with little items we needed assistance with. Thank you Team OSA!

Maggy’s place was beautiful, peaceful and had lots to do nearby ! She was quick to respond and made sure everything went as smooth as possible. Definitely 10 out of 10!

La casa es igual a las fotos, completamente equipada, sumamente limpia. La vista es espectacular. Tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía agradable. Es aislada, 0 vecinos o molestias.
LO MALO es estas pagando una suma de dinero GRANDE por fuera te hacen pagar 45 dólares o que te hagan un cargo de 500 dólares por “accidentes ” ya estas pagando por medio de Airbnb
El “tour” o indicaciones de la casa dejaron más que desear, el anfitrión no sabía muchas cosas de la casa.
El acceso desde la casa es como 20 minutos en carro, calle de lastre
La comunicación con el anfitrión dejó más que desear, pedí varias veces un número de teléfono para mejor comunicación y nada hasta la hora llegada y yo no sabia si era real o que con mi reservacion.
Fuimos comprensivos por cualquier tardanza del guía a la casa pero como llegamos 3min después de las 8 debido a la calle y que ya se había acordado con el agente algún atraso aún nos quería cobrar $50 dólares MÁS.

Hola Katherine! Thank you for the 5-star review. Regarding your concern about the verification and damage waiver. Both of those items are clearly described in the property description. It is a way to ensure that our Guests have damage protection without having to go through the hassle of Airbnb’s processes. In addition, we do require Guests to verify who they are as Airbnb does not provide full name information to Hosts. In the past, this has proven a problem when trying to confirm the name of the arriving Guest and subsequent damage recovery proved impossible. In terms of arrival times, we send every Guest the location to meet an Osa Property Management / Costa Rica Las Villas Representative so we can escort you up to the home. This was sent to you several times, including on the day of check-in. You chose to ignore those instructions. Additionally, the listing clearly states our check-in times and the additional ‘late-check-in-fee’. We also ask every Guest at least twice to verify their arrival time to ensure everyone is aware of the process. We encourage all of our Guests to read the information about this amazing property (and all of the others we manage) before booking so there are no surprises. Potential Guests can feel free to send us any questions they may have prior to booking. We do appreciate you enjoying the home and we would like to welcome you back again. I highly recommend this condo. It’s conveniently located to many local attractions and restaurants. It’s quiet, it’s well maintained, has a nice pool, including a child pool and pavilion. The condo has all the features you would expect including beach chairs and a cooler. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Wir (Familie/4 Erwachsene) fanden das Haus sehr schön. Es entsprach voll und ganz den Erwartungen und den Bildern. Die Lage mit dem Blick zum Pazifik war super, der Pool mega. Die Agentur war bei kleineren Problemen sofort erreichbar und es wurde Abhilfe geschaffen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. The property was perfect. It had everything we needed. Including a french press and a juicer. The view with the jungle and ocean was breathtaking. We were close to the beach to watch the most amazing sunsets. The surrounding area had lots to explore. You could walk to a cafe for breakfast and the beach. To top it all off, the host was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring our comfort. They went above and beyond, providing thoughtful touches and responding promptly to any questions we had. Instructions to get to the property were sent ahead of time and very detailed with pictures. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines stunning views, a natural haven for birdwatching, and outstanding hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

The house was beautiful; pool was great; location was great. We saw lots of toucans. The hot tub is not hot FYI, but warmer than the pool. There is no air conditioning in the main part of the house just the bedrooms, but that was fine for us. Make sure to get directions on how to get and use water. The water was off when we arrived and we had to fill the cistern regularly.

We apologize for the water issue. The ASADA (water utility) was doing repairs in Ojochal for the past month as they upgrade the entire town’s water supply system. The ASADA were working on pipes and upgrades in the area/pipeline of Casa Aventura during their stay. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Correct: A/C just in the bedrooms. The vaulted ceilings (over 15 feet tall) coupled with ceiling fans, allow plenty of air movement throughout the main inside part of the house.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Overpriced and needs maintenance. There is not actually A/C in all bedrooms – A/C for third bedroom was living room unit so could not close the door to kitchen/living room area when sleeping. Pool needs repair, tiles missing leading to scraped up feet, pump wasn’t working properly. Appliances were old and in need of repair. The oven was very hard to light and all the temp numbers had been rubbed off the dial. Kitchen faucet leaked. Washing machine did not work well. All these wouldn’t be a huge deal to me if I hadn’t paid double of anything else I have paid in the area including at new construction with bigger pool.
