the property is absolutely amazing. the views are amazing. the location is secluded. it gives you the best of both worlds. the beach is 7-10 min drive and the property itself is well hidden off of the beat and path that it makes you feel like your miles away when your are not

Way from busy town, with beach front, local restaurants.
Location was perfect for us: away from busy town, with beach front, local restaurants, small convenience store. Pool warm and well kept. Plenty of beach towels: thick, the dryer was small tho so it took a very long time to dry things. Poorly stocked: no dryer sheets, detergent, little toilet paper, paper towels, no liquid bath soap-only 3-4 small circular bars of bath/hand soap and there was only 1 hair dryer for 2 bathrooms. Gate did not function well except with the remote-there was only one for 2 cars going in separate directions. Gate code only worked off and on. Large family gathering area downstairs with good size kitchen table. Very tall windows letting in plenty of day light but no privacy at night since you could see thru the shades. 2 bedrooms were very small and sheets in them wee old and rough. Cleanliness (4). Not “shiny” but a good every day, clean feel. Careful on the stairs. Beautiful but hard to tell where one stair started and stopped due to coloring. A good stay tho.

We stayed at Casa Rana Verde for 3 weeks and had a great time! The property is mostly as described with a wonderful indoor to outdoor flow. A couple of things people should know: Ojachal is mostly rural, so you will need a car (highly recommend 4-wheel drive). The road getting up to the property is very rough and many of the best places to see require driving on muddy, unpaved roads. The two upstairs bedrooms are only accessible from outside.
If you are interested in surfing lessons (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) you should find an instructor named Xavier. He knows the hidden gems of the area. You can find him at Playa Ventana, which is about 10 minutes from the property. Everyone there knows him.

accommodations were great. Location was slightly difficult to get to the grocery stores, village restaurants etc…
Great spot in the heart of Ojochal.
The property is beautiful. We saw many birds and animals throughout the day. The gate locks which is great for piece of mind. The neighbors are friendly. Grocery stores are very close. We did not rent a vehicle but still were able to walk to the beach and waterfalls nearby. The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars for accuracy of listing was because it said it had AC units. Two fans were provided in each room, but no AC units were present.

We had an unforgettable experience at Vista Cascada! We chose this rental for our private elopement, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The setting was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful waterfall that created the ideal backdrop for our special day. The property was clean, well-maintained, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
The peaceful ambiance and breathtaking views truly made our elopement feel magical. The hosts were also very accommodating and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions.
