I enjoyed my stay at Villa Peace. The manager team were amazing.

Even with a 4×4 it’s very hard to access the property and definitely not anytime after dark. Very sharp turns climbing up the mountain. If you want a place to just go and stay without leaving much would be a good place but not if you plan to leave the house. The property management also never met us to show the way up which made it extra difficult

Unfortunately, the main living areas are not habitable and enjoyable due to the excessive heat/poor circulation. No wind and not far enough up in a mountain. Broken fans. baby was sweating profusely. People coming to CR for vacation want to relax and have certain amenities. Simply add A/C.
The Osa Property management failed to meet our expectations. Poor communication. Did not solve ANY problems and were dismissive.
-house not ready, waited over an hour
-never brought more fans. Sent tech but nothing improved
-asked for blankets. Never received.
-wifi not for working. Low mega
-5 min lukewarm shower don’t expect a romantic experience
-ripped screens along roofline
-kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity damaged/in poor condition
Don’t really need 4×4, mostly paved and not too steep.
calculated turns to get in the driveway, weird angles. We backed in
Beautiful home in great location. Could be amazing with improvements and better company or simply a person without a brand to uphold.

At 8:11 am the following morning (our offices open at 8 am) we responded and notified you that maintenance would be there later that morning, and maintenance did arrive and address the 2 issues you notified us about. No other requests, complaints or issues were brought to our attention during your stay. Regarding the air conditioners: the listing information is clear that only the bedrooms have A/C. Regarding the access to our property, we understand that the driveway’s turns and angles might have posed a challenge. We will make sure to provide clearer instructions and guidance for guests in the future to alleviate any difficulties in reaching the property. We sincerely regret that your overall experience did not meet your expectations, and we understand your decision not to return. Per our review of you that was written prior to reading your review, we have recommended other Hosts not to Host you due to your behavior, treatment of the house and treatment to our employees. A home in paradise! The constant hum of the waterfall, birds and surrounding nature made us feel we were truly in the rainforest. We spent loads of time outdoors in the yard, including the lovely pool, and the value of staying at this home in the shoulder season was 100% worth it. The home itself is well appointed and clean. We did have a broken A/C unit in one of the bedrooms, which we understood takes time to fix in a more rural area such as this. We also had the water shut off for several hours one day. Despite these hiccups, we would still recommend this home to others looking for an authentic jungle stay in a less touristy area. We had a fabulous time and would love to return. If I could give this home 10 stars, I would! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and stocked with everything we needed. This was the third home on our Costa Rica vacation, and it was easily our favorite. The private waterfall was such a special touch, and our morning walks around the property became one of the highlights of our trip. There are also several fantastic restaurants just minutes away. The host was wonderful and made the entire experience seamless. We loved our stay so much that we even inquired about buying the home for sale just down the street. We would absolutely stay here again and couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Great place for families get together.

We give just a mediocre valuation because we experienced a mixture of good and bad experiences. We were confronted with a lot of technical problems that could only partly solved. The good side: Our contact person, Steven, turned out to be very ambitious and helped us quickly as soon as he could. For example he replaced a completely rotten coffee maker by a new one. He also cared for two non functioning bedside lamps and for several other lamps and fans that could not be switched on. The bad side: There were several structural problems far beyond Stevenˋs possibilities. Just some examples: We had a stereo system that gave absolutely no sound and a TV with no pictures nor sound. A technician told us that it was not connected, neither to the internet nor to an antenna. What did thy do about that? Nothing! The terrace door could not be locked, because the lock was broken. What did they do?Again: nothing! Many times Steven gave us advices, one day later OSA office contacted us to tell us exactly the opposite. To us it seems like the right hand in this company does not know what the left does. Conclusion: The prices of OSA are top level, their service is not!

Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time! The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to manage our 4 adults and 2 children group. The hosts were excellent!! They provided clear instructions for meeting them to access the property and were very responsive to any of our questions. Since there had been a lot of rain just prior to and even during our visit the road in was quite rough, we were advised to have a 4×4 vehicle and it was good advice, as a result, we had no problems. The house was everything we could have wanted and the pool was great fun for the kids.

Great home for family had an amazing time great response time from host very helpful will be back for sure .
