We are never disappointed when we stay in Costa Rica especially when we are so well looked after by Tom and Christine. This is our first stay at Casa Sea Esta and it was marvelous! The view is the first thing we were amazed about when we arrived. Everything you would need is there – clean and well organized. We had absolutely no issues the entire time we were there. My husband & 2 adult children w/their significant others rented Casa Domical for 1 week. We were very happy with the accommodations & the village of Dominical. The master bedroom is large with a very comfy bed & 2 balconies. The only gripe I have is there was nowhere to hang your clothes. The one closet was locked, most likely w/the owner’s personal items, but there were plenty of drawers to use.
The Casa is well equipped with all that you need for preparing your meals. There is a cooler & folding chairs to bring to the beach which is just a short walk down the gravel road. There are towels for the pool but they are not for the beach. I found this to be inconvenient as there is not towel rental at the beach. I really dont want to have to bring towels in luggage or purchase them upon arrival. The pool water was a refreshing temp & we enjoyed having it when not at beach. There are large canopy type tents w/chairs & internet for rental on beach which we appreciated very much. The vendor named Hansel(sp?) was such a sweet friendly guy & a hard worker. We had fun with him & tipped him well. He gave us a large bag of prawns one day as a thank you! 😋
The people in & around Dominical were really friendly. There are many restaurants & bars to go to. If you prefer the resort or all inclusive type of vacation with large hotels than this spot is not for you. Our family like a boutique style accommodations & diy. Costa Rica is so beautiful & there is so much to see & do! We can’t wait to go back!!

La propiedad era cómoda, bien ubicada en un barrio tranquilo. Las comodidades necesarias para nuestros intereses, una casa sencilla pero funcional.
Un lugar silencioso y accesible, cercano del centro de Ojochal.
La piscina es excelente, bien mantenida, las instalaciones del aireo acondicionado funcionan bien, la cocina bien equipada, un garaje amplio. Si bien el espacio compartido no tiene aires acondicionados, los ventiladores y las puertas hacen agradable estar en la propiedad.
Las camas tamaño Queen, correctas y lo necesario para pasar unos días en este bonito pueblo descansando y visitando lugares.
Volveríamos sin duda.

Great place to stay for outdoor adventures
The space is large and well furnished to a high standard
Launas place exceeded our expectations and the pictures do not do it justice. The space is large and well furnished to a high standard which we have found is quite rare in Costa Rica. The kitchen is very well equipped. My only gripe is with the TV in the main room which needs replacing as it keeps crashing and needs rebooting constantly. Jaco beach is literally a 1 min walk and a lovely beach to surf and even swim. The town is a 15 min walk. Recommended!
Beachfront Jungle Luxury was Awesome!
We saw Capuchin, Spider and Howler monkeys on-site, as well as Macaw and Toucan! Pristine beach and quiet infinity pool. Would highly recommend to others!
Not what we expected
The house itself was ok. There was only place to eat for 3 people which was a problem for us as a family of 4. But it was quite well equipped. It was more than a 5 minute walk to the beach but it was convenient to many places in Uvita.
Our biggest problem was with the property management company. They were absolutely unresponsive to problems we had and when/if they did respond it was to let us know that nobody else had problems so it must have been just us. The master bath has some plumbing issues – standing water, immensely slow shower drain and as a result there was a massive mosquito infestation in the master bath. We killed a minimum of 30-40 mosquitos in the bathroom on a daily basis. We reached out to property management to let them know and never heard back. If I could offer advice, find a different management company to use that may be actually respond to issues.

When you contacted us about how your son was bitten by a spider on tour, we immediately sent you the location of the nearest medical center in relation to where you were. In addition, we asked if there was anything else we could do to help. We told you, “Call us if you need help on translation” [hospital] and you responded, “Great.” Regarding the mosquito issue: You contacted us on Sunday, December 26, at 5:27 pm and we responded at 5:52 pm. That evening (the same day – within hours of being contacted by you) a Property Manager visited the property to ascertain the situation and to resolve it. After the property manager left, you never contacted us again for the remainder of your trip. The day before check-out, we sent you a message wishing you a “Hope you are enjoying your stay” and you never responded. We provided you with quick service, and we apologized for the situation you encountered.

This home is beautiful the pics do it no justice. The view is amazing it’s so peaceful & serene. You will need a 4×4 suv to get to the home the road is steep & unpaved. Be prepared to experience small lizards in the house, insects & big frogs at night around the pool. We really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. Book this house it’s perfect for a group trip.
