The interior of the house is truly beautiful, chic, elegant, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Inside, the property meets expectations and offers a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the exterior did not reflect the same standard . The swimming pool was not properly cleaned, the outdoor terrace was dusty, in fact, I had to personally clean the outdoor terrace before use. Overall, the interior has good potential, but outdoor cleanliness, outdoor furniture condition, and outdoor maintenance need improvement to meet the quality expected for this type of property. This might affect the overall experience, especially since the outdoor space is an important feature of the property. We also requested to leave our luggage around noon, but this was not allowed, and only a paid early check-in was offered. While policies are understandable, a bit more flexibility and courtesy would have been appreciated.

We loved the house, it was perfect for our family of 11. We had a great time.
On arrival, there was a giant animal poop in the pool. They said they would see if they could get someone to come the next day. The pool guy finally arrived at 10am the next morning, which meant we couldn’t use the pool until noon.
The description is contradictory, in one place it says that you can get to the house in any kind of car and in another it says you need. 4×4. You need at least AWD and a car that is higher up off the road.
The dishwasher only works on Heavy Duty, the other settings don’t clean the dishes properly. We arrived to a dish washer full of dirty dishes that had to be hand washed before dinner.
Although the description of the house includes a butlers pantry, that door is locked and off limits.
The property managers were not at all helpful or responsive. Would return to the house, but would not rent again if they are involved.

Natalie, As advertised the home is next to the jungle and, on occasion, animals will defecate on/near the property and we are not available 24/7 to clean up after them. We are sorry for that. We notified the pool company as soon as you notified us of that. We contacted the cleaning company about the dishes. That is inexcusable and we are sorry for that. We offered to get whatever you needed from the Butler’s Pantry, and we will remove that from the description. I hope the lack of access didn’t ruin your trip as it is used as a storage area.

The property was great and everything that we expected. They accommodated and helped facilitate several things with the stay. However, the person who facilitated the private chef did not get much right, so maybe look for your own private chef or make sure that they get the order right as they did not but otherwise everything else was fantastic. I recommend not traveling too late at night as the road to get up to the beautiful home definitely needs 4 x 4 and in rainy conditions it can be tough to navigate, but I would just say make sure you have enough time to get there during the day. They do offer to help but with traffic and l delays in travel we didn’t get there till 11pm. They always checked in and answered any questions quickly. Bonita opción para compartir en familia o amigos. Lo mejor: la ubicación (cerca de accesos a playas, restaurantes en Ojochal y Uvita. Habitaciónes muy cómodas, bien equipadas y buena calidad de sueño (colchones, sábanas, AC). Cocina bien equipada y terrazas amplias. Sitio muy tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. This place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family. We had a great stay. It is right on beach, has a nice pool and the place is so nice. It is supplied with almost everything you need. It is a peaceful, safe, quiet place with security. I would stay here again. We all loved it. The only things I would say it needs is more cooking pans and a pair of working scissors. It is also very clean. We enjoyed it very most. Amazing!

We had a great stay! It’s quiet, clean, comfortable, and worked well for our family. I loved the spacious kitchen, and appreciated that the host is very generous with the towels, which are essential during a beach vacation 🙂 They went above and beyond to let us check in early when our schedule changed unexpectedly, thank goodness. We would definitely stay here again, next time we’re in the area!
