This casita above Playa Dominical is a great place to stay. It is a very central location to visit lots of local sites such as Manual Antonio, the Whale’s Tail in Uvita, Playa Ventanas, and Nauyaca Waterfalls (one of our favorite activities during our trip). The apartment itself has great amenities. The private pool, washer/dryer, and very effective AC made this little oasis overlooking the ocean a perfect getaway. You definitely need a 4×4 vehicle to get up to it, but it is only minutes away from a grocery store, bakery, and many restaurants. Highly recommend the Patacones and Basil Pineapple Margarita at Tortilla Flats right on the beach in Dominical. We were very happy with the space and the attentiveness of the host. Thanks!! 😎

Great home! Beautiful area! Only complaint was the mattresses being on the uncomfortable side but the lovely home and view made up for it ❤️

Great home. Walkable to a few good restaurants and the beach. Construction next door took away from the daytime relaxation. They were metal framing the entire stay but we found ways to work around it.

La villa correspond bien aux photos MAIS sur 3 nuits passées sur place nous avons eu une coupure d’eau de 24h (pour laquelle on nous a dit de nous débrouiller avec la piscine… finalement livraison d’eau en bouteille ce qui ne réglait pas le pb wc/douche), puis une coupure d’électricité de 12 heures (plus de clim notamment…). Ces désagréments sont à priori liés à 2 orages mais semblent être un pb récurrent car il y a des lampes de poches sur les tables de nuit.

No indoor living area/lounge to escape the heat
No cushions for the loungers
But worst was the property management company. They only send horribly long and silly WhatsApp messages but never answered our actual questions. Not one. Did not hear from them at all for 48 h despite messages and requests. The owners should find a better representation
A clothes drying rack would have been nice

Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this house is. You will be in awe as soon as you walk inside, the house was spotless clean, spacious and welcoming. We went with our 3 boys, who loved the space, the pool, and most importantly all the beautiful animals we spotted. We saw macaws, toucans, iguanas. We loved the accessibility too to Jaco, herradura and we truly enjoyed playa Blanca in punta Leona ( you can request access here ahead of time) it’s a beautiful white sand beach, where we spotted so many monkeys. This is a place worth staying and going back to. Pura Vida 🇨🇷❤️

L appartement est très bien. 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain et beaucoup de rangement. Belle terrasse et extérieure avec un bbq au propane. BBQ était neuf il manquait des ustensiles et des que j ai informé les proprios ils sont allés en acheter et livré la même journée. Beaucoup de serviettes pour la piscine et douche. De plus, à notre arrivée nous avions un gros panier de fruits frais, du café, un souvenir et des biscuits. Belle attention 🙂 Ojochal est un très bel endroit Lumineux, grand. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Toutes des petites maisons neuves une à côté de l autre. Par contre, il y a une bonne végétation qui délimite les terrains offrants de l intimité. Les colibris venaient nous visiter alors que nous étions assis sur les chaises de patio berçantes 🙂 À conseiller, nous retournerions sans hésiter.
