Increíble Airbnb, totalmente recomendable

What a beautiful, magical place! We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it. We were 2 couples with 3 small kids who enjoyed the pool, nearby beaches and towns, wildlife (monkeys! lizards! birds! big bugs!), and sunset swims and dinners. A couple of things to note which we didn’t expect: the power does go out pretty often, which is common for the area. Only once it went out at night for 10 hours which was tough with the heat. There is only A/C in the bedrooms so the main level does get very hot during the day. As other reviews mentioned, you have use the steep-ish outside stairs to get between floors. Not a big deal, but a slight inconvenience sometimes. The road to the property does require 4×4 but was not an issue for us going in and out, we liked it! The waterfall hike is awesome but challenging with kids (steep). House is beautiful and clean with no bugs inside at all. Overall we had a fantastic, memorable stay and would love to come back again! What an amazing home and experience. From the moment the gate opens one is blown away by the architectural beauty that fits into paradise so easily. Unbelievably tranquil and a paradise all to our own. The Howler monkeys, Scarlett McCaws, Toucans, flowers in bloom, a water fall, swinging chairs, the pool just WOW. We must mention the attentive assistance from our concierge Maria Z who helped us in all our adventures such as, Zipline, Whitewater rafting, Snorkeling and ATV exploring, Thank you for helping us have a fantastic and memorable vacation. The property is surrounded by forest and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We awoke each morning to the sound of howler monkeys, and each evening the songs of toucans, Montezuma oropendolas, and other birds filled the air.

Tom and Christine of Jaguar Property Management were very helpful and responsive from the first time we contacted them through our final checkout. (Thank you!)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Pura Vida!

The only item to note is that the toilet in the master bedroom is not really “en suite”, but “in suite”; meaning, there is no door.

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica at Casa Trogon! The house was quaint and homey, in a great location, and had all the amenities that we had hoped. The pool was also a great addition and perfect for those hot Costa Rican days. Nick and Abigail were great and very helpful during our trip. They were always friendly and accessible if we ever needed them. Overall, we had an amazing time in Costa Rica and will definitely by going back in the years to come! Pura Vida!

One of the most amazing homes I’ve ever stayed in! It’s beautiful and even better than the photos as it’s been newly renovated. The views and the pool were amazing. Lots of wildlife to be seen as well. The drive up to the house is a bit intense at first but after that it’s fun a drive.

This house was really nice, with 3 bedrooms and a nice little pool with a béatiful garden. Its well futnished and well taken care of, the only thing is that the roof in the master bedroom was leaking when its raining hard and i would double check the seal of the doors and windows because there were many mosquitos inside the house during the night. The service from Osa management was quick and efficient.

My husband & 2 adult children w/their significant others rented Casa Domical for 1 week. We were very happy with the accommodations & the village of Dominical. The master bedroom is large with a very comfy bed & 2 balconies. The only gripe I have is there was nowhere to hang your clothes. The one closet was locked, most likely w/the owner’s personal items, but there were plenty of drawers to use.
The Casa is well equipped with all that you need for preparing your meals. There is a cooler & folding chairs to bring to the beach which is just a short walk down the gravel road. There are towels for the pool but they are not for the beach. I found this to be inconvenient as there is not towel rental at the beach. I really dont want to have to bring towels in luggage or purchase them upon arrival. The pool water was a refreshing temp & we enjoyed having it when not at beach. There are large canopy type tents w/chairs & internet for rental on beach which we appreciated very much. The vendor named Hansel(sp?) was such a sweet friendly guy & a hard worker. We had fun with him & tipped him well. He gave us a large bag of prawns one day as a thank you! 😋
The people in & around Dominical were really friendly. There are many restaurants & bars to go to. If you prefer the resort or all inclusive type of vacation with large hotels than this spot is not for you. Our family like a boutique style accommodations & diy. Costa Rica is so beautiful & there is so much to see & do! We can’t wait to go back!!

Bonito lugar, súper completo y equipado. La vista es espectacular! Tiene sus oportunidades en cuanto a seguridad y en las instrucciones para llegar al lugar, por el resto, todo muy bien.
