The property is surrounded by forest and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We awoke each morning to the sound of howler monkeys, and each evening the songs of toucans, Montezuma oropendolas, and other birds filled the air.

Tom and Christine of Jaguar Property Management were very helpful and responsive from the first time we contacted them through our final checkout. (Thank you!)

We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Pura Vida!

The only item to note is that the toilet in the master bedroom is not really “en suite”, but “in suite”; meaning, there is no door.

This house was even better than advertised! The location is beautiful, private, and very peaceful. The house and pool were very clean. The air conditioning, shower, and water all performed well. This is a great place if you’re looking to escape and have a relaxing time. Would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again!

Nous avons passé une excellent séjour à Ojochal en famille. Maison impeccable, confortable, décorée avec goût et extérieur agréable avec la vue sur les montagnes et la piscine ! La proximité avec de belles plages et des cascades est parfait. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! Très belle région !

Nuestra estadía en la casa fue excelente. Desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa gracias a la amabilidad, el respeto y la atención de los anfitriones. Recomendamos al 100%. This was one of the best (if not the best) property I’ve rented on Airbnb. The view from the house on the ocean is stunning, you’re surrounded by lush vegetation with animals paying you a visit when you’re relaxing in the beautiful infinity pool (iguanas, toucans, eagles, variety of other colorful birds). The house is clean, spacious and comfortable, and very well equipped: lot of various kitchenware, a gas barbecue, towels, modern ensuite bathrooms … Special mention to the bedding which was very high quality. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back

Un hermoso rincon para disfrutar en familia o con amigos, completamente equipada y una vista espectacular del atardecer, muy privada y rodeada de naturaleza, con acceso fácil para todo vehículo

Pictures did not do this house and property justice. Amazing home, great amenities, perfect location and just the right amount of space. We had all we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner each day, walked to the beach each evening to watch the sunset (safe area), and enjoyed a few swims in the pool. We are already planning our next visit to CR and we will book this unit again (hopefully it will be available.)

What a wonderful place! This house lived up to its description. It is situated on a hill overlooking the sea. Toucans, monkeys, lizards… lots of wildlife. Our family really enjoyed the pool and sitting outside when it was raining. Can’t recommend this place enough. The property managers were great and were always available on WhatsApp. Note, you need a car that can climb hills. 4×4 is strongly recommended. My family “enjoyed” the climb quite a few times and it was always commented on. We just got back to the states and we already miss the house.
