We saw so many animals and wildlife at this property. Howler monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds, agoutis, tons of big birds, tarantulas, scorpions, frogs, geckos, anoles, basilisks, blue morphos, the list goes on and on. The area had incredible restaurants and was very family friendly. Every restaurant we went to had a kid area where our two year old felt right at home. Management was always responsive! Try Tagua Cafe for great coffee and breakfast, less than 3 minutes from the house. There was a white and orange cat that we fed during our time and our daughter named him Marshmallow. Say hi to him for us! 🙂

Fantastic stay. We loved it.

Everything about this Ojochal home was perfect. My husband and I loved every moment. Warm pool, beauty view, immaculately clean, great kitchen for preparing meals but also close to many delicious restaurants and grocery shops. Citrus, Halyconia, Mosaic, Las Alturras were some of our favourites. Also short drive to Playa Tortuga and Playa Ballena. Don’t hesitate to book this great home! Super hosts Tom and Christine helped us with all our questions. Could not have been a better experience!

The house is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped for an extended stay. The location is great, the backyard is lovely, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. However, we were disappointed to find that most of the house does not have A/C, something that was not clearly indicated in the listing. The upstairs loft, in particular, has no windows (only screens) and no A/C, which made it very difficult to sleep, cook, or work from home during our 12-night stay. Only the small downstairs bedroom has an A/C unit, and unfortunately, it wasn’t feasible for everyone in our group to sleep in that one room. The heat, humidity, and outside noise became overwhelming at times, and significantly impacted our comfort and ability to enjoy the space. On a positive note, OSA Properties was responsive and courteous during our stay, which we appreciated. We do hope the listing can be updated to more clearly reflect the A/C situation. Response: We’re sorry you did not have a 5-star experience. The property description was clear and we’ve never had another Guest complain about it. However, we are always appreciative of Guest feedback and we’ve modified the statement of “A/C in bedroom” to include the words ‘not in loft’ to the description. Thank you for the feedback. The kitchen is on the main floor, not in the loft, and the main floor has large sliding glass doors that allows wonderful fresh Costa Rica air to flow throughout the house. maison très belle, fonctionnelle et propre!

Das Appartement hat eine super Aufteilung. Die Küche ist der zentrale Punkt und die Schlafzimmer sowie Bäder liegen jeweils an den Seiten. Alle Aufenthaltsräume sind klimatisiert (Küche, Schlafen) Der Aussenpool ist erfrischend inkl. Aussendusche und WC!
