Un excelente lugar para alojarse en Ojochal, en un contacto directo con la naturaleza, una casa bien diseñada y equipada para tener las comodidades que parejas jóvenes busquen. La piscina increíble para refrescarse en un día caluroso o bajo la luz de las estrellas, rodeado de un ambiente de selva. El lugar es alejado, pero accesible para moverse por la zona,recomendaría un vehículo alto o un 4×4. Sin duda alguna volvería a repetir mi estadía en este increíble lugar.

Our stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The location was definitely a highlight, offering easy access to the beach. Check-in was also a breeze, which was a welcome start to our stay.However, there were several maintenance issues that impacted our experience. We encountered a problem with the oven display not working, and while maintenance did come to address it once, the issue wasn’t fully resolved. Additionally, the refrigerator filter clearly needed changing, but this was never taken care of during our stay. We also had initial trouble with the washing machine, which only started working after we ran a full cycle, seemingly resetting it.Beyond the in-room issues, the elevator was out of service for the duration of our visit. This was particularly inconvenient as our room was located on the third floor, a detail that was not mentioned in the hotel’s advertisement. Finally, the hotel listing indicated a private pool, which was not available.While the location and check-in were positive aspects, the unresolved maintenance issues, the non-functioning elevator (especially given our third-floor room and the lack of prior notice), and the inaccurate information regarding the private pool detracted significantly from our overall experience.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Overpriced and needs maintenance. There is not actually A/C in all bedrooms – A/C for third bedroom was living room unit so could not close the door to kitchen/living room area when sleeping. Pool needs repair, tiles missing leading to scraped up feet, pump wasn’t working properly. Appliances were old and in need of repair. The oven was very hard to light and all the temp numbers had been rubbed off the dial. Kitchen faucet leaked. Washing machine did not work well. All these wouldn’t be a huge deal to me if I hadn’t paid double of anything else I have paid in the area including at new construction with bigger pool.

This review is quite surprising as we hadn’t had these reports before. In terms of the washing machine, we offered to have our maintenance team go look at it and evaluate it, however, her response was “You can schedule washing machine tech after we leave.” We have a private laundry service that we provide free of charge in these types of situations. This home is competitively priced for the location and the dates of her travel. She knew the rate at the time of reservation. In response to her review, we have the pool scheduled for re-tiling in April 2023 (due to existing reservations it was not possible to have it done sooner – we are sorry about that). We are sorry you didn’t enjoy your time at the home or at the beach. We have over 40 other properties in the area and we would welcome you back and, like all repeat renters, offer a discount for returning. Pura vida

PROS: layout of HOME/SPACIOUS rooms-even the bathrooms are large /ROOFTOP DECK views/PRIVATE LOCATION situated ideally between Dominical & Uvita, ANIMALS everywhere: toucans/howler monkeys often get close just right off decks in trees/even spotted the sloth in the tree off the deck/cute white gecko-creatures everywhere/even a JC lizard streaked across the pool, LOVED the soothing waterfall feature of pool CONS: driving in&out of driveway is tight if in a big vehicle, important TIP-be sure to open up ALL doors & windows for the best cros-ventilation or you’ll much prefer to stay in the air-conditioned rooms of house & in the pool (!)—-the only other con is that a full on view of ocean is only from rooftop deck (you get “peeks” of ocean from main level and pool)/a con for some: (Casa is conveniently located off main road-the jungle is so thick that I, myself, couldn’t hear anything at night except nature sounds), but my husband needed his earplugs claiming to hear occasional traffic at night without them. OVERALL WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR STAY-A TREMENDOUS VALUE

We absolutely loved this property! A perfect home to celebrate our honeymoon! My husband enjoyed the drive up and down the rocky road to get to the house and we thought of it as a fun adventure! We left the house daily and had no problem getting in and out. The views were amazing, we woke up to Tucan’s and Macaw’s outside the balcony area. 10/10 stay, vacation and home! Our experience was what we hoped for. The casita, pool, property, and privacy were as advertised. The wildlife was exciting (howler monkeys in the background, many birds and other small animals). We strongly encourage a 4×4 (to get the full Costa Rica experience) as the roads off the main hwy can be rugged at times (but fun). We appreciate the attentiveness of Osa Property Management for any of the questions we had and ensuring our experience was as enjoyable as we hoped for. Pura Vida!
