This house is a little hidden gem. The place is rustic but we enjoyed that. However, it is a little worse for wear and needs some repairs. The house and property is very private. It is important to note that Ojochal is an up and coming place which means there is a lot of traffic including motorbikes which were very loud. There are some very nice restaurants near by. The property management company were fantastic, they responded quickly to our requests or questions and were super helpful when booking and organizing excursions.

You can’t beat this place. It’s somehow more spectacular than the photos. I could sit on the deck by the pool all day long and look at the almost 360 degree view of the ocean and valley.

We loved most everything about this place, it was a great place to just get away and relax. It is very private and beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a BBQ. It was also great to be able to wash and dry our clothes. We also got to witness a mom sitting on her eggs and she had 3 little chicks following her around. I do recommend that AC and a second lounge chair by the pool would be great additions, as it is quite warm. We would definitely return.

The privacy and plunge pool were highlights of our stay, creating the perfect atmosphere for a couple to relax and reconnect. We were delighted to see local wildlife, including monkeys and beautiful birds, while the constant, mesmerizing sound of the waves provided a wonderful backdrop.

Wonderful spot. Great hub to explore Uvita to Playa Hermosa (South of Jaco) including MA. Anyone who takes pride in/ enjoys driving will have zero problem getting to this spot. And it’s worth it. Spotless joint. Big windows where you can watch wildlife. Literally zero bug / pest issues.

Every detail as promised. Well equipped, gorgeous view, well managed and very helpful property managers!

Beautiful, clean and spacious. As mentioned in the listing, a 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed. The drive up was a little tough but worth it! Lovely outdoor spaces with lots of wildlife.
