++Positive: The accommodation has a fantastic view, the customer service is very good, quick to answer questions, minimalist, top — good to know: – You can still see and hear the main road, but it’s not too disturbing – There are other flats next door, it is not quite as cut off as the marketing pictures sell it, but it is not bad either. ! After booking via Airbnb, you are contacted by a number via mobile phone and have to sign another rental contract via a website. At the same time, additional insurance cover costs another 40 dollars or 3-400 dollars are blocked on your credit card. The American way. I didn’t like that, and I made a comment straight away. However, I received reminders almost every day after booking to do this. The rental price was therefore immediately 10% more expensive. – Small things in the flat, such as the TV not being set up, unstable WLAN did not bother us. So only a small star deduction for a few little Things! Response: Hola Stephan! Sorry for the inconvenience. That is in the House Rules, but as an Airbnb Guest had you brought that to our attention that you didn’t want to take advantage of the additional damage protection we would have removed that requirement. That is a mandatory requirement for our Guests who book directly with us on our own website, but it is an option on Airbnb. Next time please let us know if there are any inconveniences and we would have resolved it immediately. Pura vida! Osa Property Management

Stunning. Simply magisterial. Casa Luna de Plata was comfortably the best house we have ever stayed in. From the incredible rainforest views and wildlife sightings (toucans, sloths, macaws, and monkeys from the deck) to the spacious and impeccably furnished interior, we couldn’t get enough of this place. Amazing value considering you get 4 beds, a private pool, brand new kitchen and 270 degree view of the Manuel Antonio area. Osa was a great host: they responded quickly to our questions, provided a great guide to the area, and embraced us with the pura vida lifestyle. We will definitely be returning!

El lugar es hermoso, realmente para descansar, la naturaleza se escucha todo el día, especialmente en la madrugada, el cielo es hermoso lleno de estrellas! Encontramos todo lo que el lugar indicaba qué ofrecía, sin duda lo recomiendo!

We stayed at Casa Rana Verde for 3 weeks and had a great time! The property is mostly as described with a wonderful indoor to outdoor flow. A couple of things people should know: Ojachal is mostly rural, so you will need a car (highly recommend 4-wheel drive). The road getting up to the property is very rough and many of the best places to see require driving on muddy, unpaved roads. The two upstairs bedrooms are only accessible from outside. If you are interested in surfing lessons (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) you should find an instructor named Xavier. He knows the hidden gems of the area. You can find him at Playa Ventana, which is about 10 minutes from the property. Everyone there knows him.

This is a very nice property with a beautiful pool and views. However, the description of three master suites is a bit misleading. There is one master and two other bedrooms that have ensuite bathrooms but they areconsiderably smaller and darker.

The biggest concern is some maintenance issues with the property, particularly the master suite bathroom that has one sliding window panel missing and though there are decorative grills on the windows this does present a security risk. We did bring this to the attn of the mgmt co. We also had issues with the grill, resulting in a fire which required us to use a fire extinguisher. Most annoying, however, were the locks to all the exterior doors. The keys only work on a few of the doors and for even those that work, they require a fair amount of fiddling to get open. The mgmt co suggested we keep the main doors open and just lock the exterior grill which we were notcomfortable with.

Finally, we were charged $45 for early check-in even tho the house had been empty for 3 days previous so it required no extra effort on cleaning. And we picked the keys up at the mgmt companies office and let ourselves in. So what was the $45 for?

As an FYI, weve been renting houses in Costa Rica for 20+ years and understand the complexities of maintaining houses in the tropics. But renters should be forewarned about these issues.

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia. Es un lugar perfecto para disfrutar en familia, muy cómodo, limpio y con todo lo necesario para una estadía agradable. We absolutely loved our stay, location is far but the property is gorgeous. They were also very responsive and great hosts. They allowed us to check in early, if we needed something they helped out. If I ever came back, I’d stay here again! Words cannot describe the beauty of this place.

This is an amazing property surrounded by natural beauty. Sitting by the pool, you’ll feel alone in the jungle. If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s exactly what you’ll get. Would recommend a rental car or a very reliable car service if staying here, but that’s what you get if you’re staying in the jungle without many homes surrounding you.

The house is just as in the description, due to the location it may be raining in the afternoons (the norm in this region of the country) but in the mornings, everything changes and if you go to the beach there is always sun.
