We are never disappointed when we stay in Costa Rica especially when we are so well looked after by Tom and Christine. This is our first stay at Casa Sea Esta and it was marvelous! The view is the first thing we were amazed about when we arrived. Everything you would need is there – clean and well organized. We had absolutely no issues the entire time we were there. I think this home is amazing. It looks just like the pictures. We were a family of 8 and it was super spacious, and had everything for us to cook with. With is being a home surrounded by nature, it’s normal to have bugs around so don’t expect zero bugs and insects. The views are amazing!!

I loved this home!
Wonderful location in a small town but still away from the hustle and bustle of Uvita and Ojochal with all of its traffic. Kingfisher has a great floorplan, refreshing pool and I enjoyed using the rancho to cook dinner one night on the grill. I heard plenty of wildlife (toucans and howler monkeys). Just a couple of minutes from the highway and paved roads almost the entire way. Great value.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time! The house felt thoughtful and plentiful with supplies. It was such a wonderful setting and a truly special place. We had many favorite places in this home: the privacy and comfort of the upstairs rooms, coffee in the morning on the upper balcony, family fun in the pool at all hours of the day, meals and games at the outdoor dining table, sunsets on the outdoor couch, and laying in the hammock overlooking the jungle below. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We had a few issues that were out of the property management control but they did their best to accommodate us and make sure everything was taken care of. We do appreciate the effort to make up for the inconveniences.
They had fresh fruit, snacks & fresh flowers waiting for us when we arrived. The place was fantastic and the views were stunning.
Not what we expected
The house itself was ok. There was only place to eat for 3 people which was a problem for us as a family of 4. But it was quite well equipped. It was more than a 5 minute walk to the beach but it was convenient to many places in Uvita.
Our biggest problem was with the property management company. They were absolutely unresponsive to problems we had and when/if they did respond it was to let us know that nobody else had problems so it must have been just us. The master bath has some plumbing issues – standing water, immensely slow shower drain and as a result there was a massive mosquito infestation in the master bath. We killed a minimum of 30-40 mosquitos in the bathroom on a daily basis. We reached out to property management to let them know and never heard back. If I could offer advice, find a different management company to use that may be actually respond to issues.

When you contacted us about how your son was bitten by a spider on tour, we immediately sent you the location of the nearest medical center in relation to where you were. In addition, we asked if there was anything else we could do to help. We told you, “Call us if you need help on translation” [hospital] and you responded, “Great.” Regarding the mosquito issue: You contacted us on Sunday, December 26, at 5:27 pm and we responded at 5:52 pm. That evening (the same day – within hours of being contacted by you) a Property Manager visited the property to ascertain the situation and to resolve it. After the property manager left, you never contacted us again for the remainder of your trip. The day before check-out, we sent you a message wishing you a “Hope you are enjoying your stay” and you never responded. We provided you with quick service, and we apologized for the situation you encountered.

La casa está ubicada a unos 5 minutos de la…
La casa está ubicada a unos 5 minutos de la carretera costanera y a unos 15 minutos de las principales playas y parques nacionales de la zona. La casa es sencilla pero tiene todo lo mínimo para una estadía agradable. La piscina tiene un tamaño muy adecuado para el disfrute y tiene toldos que permiten estar en la piscina sin tener que recibir directamente el sol. El terreno en el que está la casa es bastante grande (unos 5.000 m2 aproximadamente) y muy bien mantenido, es el lugar perfecto para visitar con perros de cualquier tamaño ya que pueden jugar libremente en la propiedad sin ocasionar molestias y sin riesgo de escapar. Un punto importante es que la propiedad tiene un supermercado a pocos metros y algunos restaurantes.
