Loved the view and the pool and the host was very responsive. Nice kitchen and new appliances. The stairs to each floor are outside and the first floor bathroom is not in the house, which was odd. Didn’t like that the upstairs AC has a motion detector and turns off if no motion is detected in 15 minutes, so it would shut off when we were asleep. Overall, it’s a nice place with helpful hosts. Response: Hola Mitch! Thank you for the review. In terms of the A/C unit – you did not mention that during your stay. Had you done so, we could have addressed it. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that must have caused – the sensor is set for during the day so that for environmental reasons an A/C unit is not running all day in an empty space. What a beautiful home for our family celebration. We loved waking up in the morning to bird watch and listen to the howler monkeys. OSA property management was always available to answer questions, concerns and make touring suggestions We hope to return again. .

Beautiful outdoor area with plunge pool (do not expect to do laps) – thats where we spent all our time. Covered area for when the rain comes as well so you can still be outside. AC + fans mean you can be comfortable inside too. Love the chill vibe of the town and easy to walk to beaches, groceries and restaurants. Thanks!

The house was awesome! So freaking gorgeous it was unbelievable. Although check in time was at three. We got there five minutes before three and the maids and the property manager didn’t leave until 3:30 or 4:00. Also on the way out check out time was at 11 but the property manager and the maids were there at 10 waiting in the driveway for us to get out. I was rushing to get the house clean and left it immaculate, but felt very rushed like we were being pushed out other than that everything was perfect and wonderful, and they were very quick to respond to any problems that we had. Hands-down I would go back.

This property is amazing! We had a great experience with the property management company as well – they made sure that everything was working properly and were very pleasant. The pool and the view were top notch. We saw many birds, an Agouti, and the day we were leaving we saw monkeys in the trees near the driveway. The house was very clean and beautiful – it had everything we needed and then some. We had the best experience here – don’t hesitate to stay at this place. We went to see the whale’s tail at low tide and also went to Nauyaca waterfalls and the rest of the time we just enjoyed the house b/c the kids loved the pool so much.

The location is unbeatable. Steep drive up the mountain estates yields all the benefits. The view is unmatched. It sits in the middle of the rainforest near Tarcoles and has so much wildlife around it, we were astounded! A Tayra right next to the swimming pool one morning (a rare site for mammal lovers), many red macaws flying around the house all the time, toucan, a bird watcher’s dream! All the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Our group was well taken care of by Osa Property Management from beginning to end. Near Jaco for grocery runs if necessary. Great location for daily outings of all kinds. Super bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and common area! Laundry facilities, so we could reuse clothing and not pack as much. I can’t stop raving about Casa Majestica. My best experience in Central America to date!
