We spent most of our 6 weeks in CR here at Uvita. Seriously thinking of buying property near here. Whenever we came back to the house, it felt like coming home.

I enjoyed my stay at Villa Peace. The manager team were amazing.

We had a great and wonderful time!

The property was as described. Very clean, the pool was nice and relaxing. The down part was, the directions that are on the app take you to 3 different locations. It was very frustrating. I finally asked the property management folk to just text me a pin, in which they did. Took us right to the property, unfortunately we were on the other side of town from their apps directions. The next morning we found several roaches in the kitchen and there were some sort of worms all over the floor. This was brought to the management team’s attention, to which they replied, “it’s Costa Rica, there’s bugs”. My thought was “no kidding, is that where I am?” The previous 2 nights we stayed in a jungle villa with no roaches in the kitchen. After all that, the night before checking out we were pressured NOT ONCE, but TWICE for an exact check out time. This experience will definitely make me rent from actual owners and not management companies. I’ll NEVER go back to this property. Would not recommend!!! Response: We’re sorry you had an unfortunate experience. As you may recall, you did not use the Digital Guidebook we sent to you 3 times prior to your arrival, which provides photos and turn-by-turn directions. Regarding the roaches – that is DEFINITELY not something we expect any Guest to endure and we have already sent the fumigators there. We are very sorry about that! In terms of confirming your check-out time, as we asked (once in the evening before and once on the day of, since you didn’t respond) “Do you know your check-out time. This helps us schedule the cleaners. Feel free to stay until 11 am, but if you’re leaving earlier, could you do us a favor and let us know” We’re sorry you found that frustrating – we’ve never had anyone complain before.
