Quiet and peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle. Less than 15 minutes from delicious dining and Playa Ventanas. Clean, well appointed, and spacious.

House and property exactly as described. Worked great for us and the location. Only problem we had was lack of hot water in mornings..
We arrived late but Jeremy gave us the info required.

Excelente casa para familias, especialmente si andas con niños ya que disfrutan mucho del área de la piscina. Habitaciones espaciosas y comodas y equipada con todo lo necesario para una estancia relajada.

Pros: private road, house was clean, fun decor, well kept pool.

Cons: located by the main road so traffic noise & make sure you have a 4×4 and can drive tricky turns getting in and out of the property.

Could be a pro or a con: howler monkeys WE ❤️ed them

We had a wonderful stay at Honu Kai from May 11, 2026 to May 15, 2026. The home is stunning , very clean and well equipped. It truly is in the middle of the jungle and home of amazing wildlife. We saw several capuchin monkeys playing in the trees, a three toed sloth eating his lunch, a basilisk lizard that hung out by the pool with us, numerous birds and butterflies and a group of howler monkeys sitting in a tree near the house. The property lost a star due to the lack of railings on outside stairs and pool stairs. We would definitely stay at Honu Kai again. It was a vacation to remember!

El lugar es hermoso, realmente para descansar, la naturaleza se escucha todo el día, especialmente en la madrugada, el cielo es hermoso lleno de estrellas! Encontramos todo lo que el lugar indicaba qué ofrecía, sin duda lo recomiendo!

Casa Rana Verde in Ojochal is a slice of paradise that left us in awe. The highlight was undoubtedly the personal infinity pool with its breathtaking ocean views. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the lush tropical landscaping while admiring geckos and a curious basilisk lizard. Chris and Deb, the owners, are incredibly generous and welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. The Osa Property Management team was efficient and professional. Every aspect of Casa Rana Verde exuded charm and tranquility. We are so thankful for the enchanting vacation retreat. We highly recommend it!

The home was perfect. The pool and outside patio was just so relaxing. The beach is a short walk. Uvita has everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. Wales Tail was definitely a highlight.
