Perfect apartment for family holiday. Very close to very beginner friendly surf beach. This is the right side of the beach for families and beginner surf. Lots of nature around, parrots, lizards etc, etc😎

The location and place were great. Everything was clean and as mentioned. The staff were friendly. The reason we were turned off was the unexpected fee waiver I was asked to pay after I had already booked! I was sent a link to verify my information which I have on Airbnb before, except with this property I was asked to pay a damage waiver that the property required. It was only $20 but I felt that was underhanded and not forthcoming in the listing. Response: We are happy you enjoyed your stay with us! In terms of the OPTIONAL fee, that is posted on the House Rules on the Airbnb listing. You may not have read those prior to booking. It is an optional damage protection in case you accidentally broke anything it provides ‘No questions asked damage protection’ to a certain financial level – many Guests like the reassurance that they can enjoy their time and relax without having to worry about breaking or damaging anything. Regardless, you were a wonderful Guest and we’d love to Host you again here, or at any of the other 75 properties we currently manage in Costa Rica. Loved the huge bowl of fruit! Such a nice touch. Place was just like picture, very clean and easy to find. Very close to restaurants and beaches. A/c kept the house very cool! Beautiful property in close proximity to great restaurants/coffee shops and Marino Ballena National Park. However, the house does get very warm during the day due to the lack of curtains to keep the heat out and the lack of air conditioning that was not installed in any room but the main bedroom on the ground floor. So as long as you don’t plan on being home during the day, great. Just note, that the heat renders the upstairs loft bedroom rather useless. Our family of 4 all packed into the main bedroom with the AC to sleep every night.

Looks even better in person than in pictures. Super clean and host was very responsive. Close to town and the beach, but still felt very private. Saw animals from our backyard. Beautiful, new home with great pool. Very close to downtown but not so close that it’s noisy, ideal spot. Comfortable beds, big closets, equipped kitchen with all the basics plus ice maker and water dispenser in the door! Dishwasher and small microwave (uncommon in Costa Rica) and the home has several, huge smart TVs. We enjoyed the pool daily and had a wonderful trip! Recommend highly!
