Absolutely stunning location/house. Truly needs better customer support though and planning. It’s been 3 months we booked this location and had asked to have a private chef since the start, and then reminded multiple times. On the day of, they asked if we booked any of their recommendations, but we were never recommended any. Then because we had no food after travelling 5 hours to the location, we asked what we could do? They referred us to a local app but to our amazement, only accepted Costa Rican Credit Cards. The chef was also not brought back into question for the remainder of the week. It’s honestly a shame because the house was absolutely perfect. Just nothing was done to help fix the food situation. We decided to then rent a 4×4 (Extremely needed) and cooked ourselves. Also the main family room Air Conditioning wasn’t working the entire stay so that was pretty heated. And the hot tub was not working as well for the 1st 3 days. So again, great house but management needs help.

We had the best stay!! The home and property are absolutely beautiful. We saw so much wildlife every single day! Monkey’s everywhere! We loved the outdoor kitchen and used it every morning for breakfast. The host was very kind and responsive. I would highly recommend this property! Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful house and location. Bring binoculars, wake-up early, and bird watch pool side. We saw Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, Hummingbirds and many more. Howler monkeys are constantly reminding you that they are near. Lounge in the pool on the grounds or take a very short hike and lounge in the pool at the bottom of the cascade. The house layout is perfect for family or friends. The restaurants in the small village a few minutes away are all really good, and you’re close to several great beaches (Ventanas at low tide was our favorite). We absolutely love how vividly you described the Vista Cascada experience — from the poolside birding with macaws, parrots, toucans, and hummingbirds to the howler monkeys keeping you company throughout the day. That is the pure magic of Ojochal and we love that you soaked in every moment of it! The tip about bringing binoculars and waking up early is golden advice we’ll be sharing with future guests. It’s also wonderful to hear that the cascade pool hike, the local village restaurants, and Playa Ventanas at low tide all made your stay so well-rounded. This is a superb rental. The house is short walk to the best surfing beach in Dominical area, maybe 300 yds to beach.
It was impeccably clean and the area was quiet. The small pool was a welcome soak after surfing, hiking etc.
Highly recommend this rental.

I cannot even begin to express how beautiful this place is in person. Photos do not do it justice. The price is more than fair for what you get. Beyond how gorgeous the place was, the host made it even better. They were extremely responsive, gave recommendations of the local area, and Gary even gave us a personal tour of Quepos which was fantastic. He also checked in each day of our stay and was so helpful! I have never experienced this level of hospitality before on AirBnb. I would 100% book this place again or even a different one from the same host. I cannot recommend booking this place enough!!! Also one more thing, if you do book this place, it is imperative you get a vehicle with 4WD to get to the property.

We had some problems here: Not really clean when arriving (bathroom), no wifi the first day, no hot water for two days, dishwasher not working until the last night.

We really have a great time at Quepos Villas Tranquilas. The Property Manager was really nice and detailed with our needs. Great place to stay and rest.

The Osa group was very responsive and proactive with communication. Check in: we could’ve met closer to the property, sitting on the side of a busy road waiting for a team member did not feel ideal, but maybe there’s an issue with other travelers getting lost? We realized the hot water did not work the morning after checkin. Osa quickly responded to our message and this was fixed by the afternoon. They provided great activity recommendations and coordinated booking. In particular, Costa Rica Surf were an awesome group of instructors. The kitchen was well stocked. Property was very comfortable. We are opening a new Osa Property Management office about 10 minutes from the property in 2 months so we will definitely move the meeting point to that location. Guests have gotten lost in the past as there are no street signs in this area and it can be intimidating driving on a gravel road the first time without being escorted up and following one of our Team Members.
