Spectacular Ocean Views-Private pool-Dominical

I'll start with the positive:
It does look like the pictures, pool is lovely, the kitchen is well stocked. We loved the iguanas and the lightening at night. The most comfortable chairs are on the patio. Laundry detergent is provided.
The negative:
- A lot of up selling was going on from the time I booked. First I was told I needed to be verified by a third party, I declined. I was later told this was for trip insurance I didn't want but received many texts about.
- I asked about arriving early by an hour and was offered check in fee of $35+ declined and was told I could check in.
- The safe in the room was locked. We asked for it to be unlocked and that was never resolved.
- The fouton was both dirty and very uncomfortable to watch the TV from. No bedside lamps.
- You're asked to hang towels on leaving but there are no real hooks or hangers for large towels. No place to hang clothing.
- Check out is 11, at 9:45 we were asked when we were leaving, cleaners arrived at 10:50.

Hermosa vista al mar... una villa con todas las comodidades, deliciosa piscina, cama cómoda y cocina completa. Lo mejor es la vista, el silencio y la privacidad. Recomendada!!!

Beautiful views, and a comfortable and very clean space! I think the description and the other reviews are quite accurate… The place is nice and the ocean views made for relaxing mornings sipping coffee and amenities all worked as expected. The stairs from where you park to the apartment were ok for us since we are in good shape (and left the apartment in the morning and returned before dinner) but I can see how they can be a problem for others with more movement difficulty. That said, this is well disclosed by the hosts. The drive from the main road can probably be made with 2WD, but 4WD is advised. I do think this apartment is worth the value though, and the host was very responsive and attentive. Thanks!

Este depa no solo tiene una vista increíble, donde se escucha el mar y la naturaleza, sino que también es muy confortable, limpio, y tiene todo lo necesario para quedarse a gusto y cocinar si se desea. Hay unos restaurantes y un súper a unos 1-2 km.
Lo único es que el acceso es un poco difícil, con un camino de piedras y bastante escarpado; recomiendo un carro tipo SUV al menos. Pero en muchas zonas de Costa Rica, igual les recomendaría tener uno.
¡Recomiendo mucho este lugar!

perfect stay, and the view is amazing!

The views were amazing in this Villa, it was spotless, well equipped and had all the amenities we needed. The communication with the host was excellent. The complex is very secured (gated) and easy to find.

The property is incredibly stunning; tucked away on a hillside with a gorgeous ocean view and a quick 5 minute drive away from Dominical, we were able to have privacy and contemplation but were still able to conveniently access all tourist locations we were interested in. We immensely enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Logement avec une vue incroyable sur l’océan. La piscine est top, nous avons apprécié les moments à l’extérieur, même s’il manque des transats pour profiter encore davantage. L’intérieur mériterait de la décoration, la salle de bain est très petite mais ce n’est pas le plus important. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans la Villa ! Cet endroit est absolument parfait! Un assortiment de fruits de saison ainsi que de magnifiques fleurs étaient disposés sur la table à notre arrivé ! Je vous assure que c’est le plus bel endroit pour un séjour à Dominical! 15/10! Vraiment! Merci !

Absolutely loved this property. recommend a 4x4 to get up the hill, but easy drive. Super close to town and the beach, lots of wildlife roaming. Pool was great to cool off and the home had everything I needed to relax. There are bugs etc but what do you expect? Lizards love to hang on the patio with you, and they can get in the house easily, but always scurried out. Had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. Great sunset views from the patio, feels very private. 10/10

Had the cutest little home and pool to relax at. Very close to a surf beach. The house was very clean and had cool screens to enjoy the fresh cool air of an evening.

Favorite place I have ever stayed while traveling. The view was breathtaking and exceeded expectations. Waking up to seeing the sunrise and laying in the pool watching the sunset was worth every penny. Only a few minutes drive to downtown Dominical. I had read the reviews before booking so I expected the amount of steps to climb and the steep drive to the stay, however, it was worth it.

Nous venons de revenir de notre séjour au Costa Rica. La villa était extrêmement belle et propre. Nous avons eu un peu de difficulté à trouver l'endroit mais l'hote nous à répondu rapidement et nous avons fini par trouver l'emplacement. La vue de la piscine est magnifique et elle est située à proximité de plusieurs activités. Les couchés de soleil étaient magnifiques. Il y a plusieurs escaliers pour s'y rendre mais ca se fait bien. Il est aussi important d'avoir un 4x4 pour se rendre vue les grandes pentes à pic. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et serions ravie d'y retourner un jour.

Excelente villa, 100% recomendado! La atención de los anfitriones es de maravilla, ayuda en todo momento y comunicación constante para evacuar cualquier duda, un 11 de 10!

We had a wonderful stay in Dominical for new year, the view and location was absolutely incredible! It’s exactly as pictured and we loved spending time in the pool whale and dolphin spotting (which we did!)
The property wasn’t as practical as we would have liked and could do with a few home touches, notably:
- a bedside table
- lamps for the bedroom
- somewhere to hang towels
- comfier sofa and living area (as we wanted to spend time at the property each day and due to location it’s not easy to get around Dominical unless you drive)
Highly recommend otherwise!

Todo estuvo demasiado lindo, la entrada fue un poco complicada de encontrar pero el lugar es demasiado increíble y es exactamente como las fotos

We had a little issue finding the property, but that was due to not having great phone service and being able to load email. The property was just as described! The location is beautiful the stairs really aren’t as bad as you would think. We had a two wheel drive Bronco and had no issue getting up to the property. We would love to come back and stay again!

El lugar y la vista es bastante bonito y hay privacidad. El anfitrión es atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. El acceso por las escaleras es de tener cuidado. En general el lugar esta bastante aceptable ideal para pasar un fin de semana en pareja.

Beautiful location, close to restaurants and shops. A little tricky to find, you will definitely need 4 wheel drive to navigate this area. The views are amazing, we saw parrots, a toucan, and iguanas in our backyard. Full kitchen was perfect, coffee machine, microwave, and stove top came in handy. Tons of utensils and pots and pans were available. Washer and dryer worked great.

This Airbnb was beautiful and just as the pictures showed! The hill to get up and through the neighborhood was a bit of a surprise, but our 4x2 car was able to handle it. The home was beautiful, the pool was clean and nice to relax in! There was wildlife, a beautiful sunset and easy access to nearby Dominical, which was such a cute little beach town.

Die Unterkunft war wirklich beeindruckend. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön und wir haben mit Freude morgens die Natur und das Meer beobachtet. Auch bei Regen konnten wir die Zeit in der Unterkunft genießen.

Great spot! Be ready to take the stairs up and down, if you are fit it be no problem. Saw some awesome wildlife from the comfort of the pool. Beautiful and very clean location with great AC unit that cooled the place down quickly. Also super responsive and communicative!

Mi pareja y yo nos mudaríamos felices a este airbnb; es el hogar, zona y alrededores de nuestros sueños. En este espacio pasamos horas contemplando la selva y el océano, tanto así que interactuamos con diferentes tipos de aves, insectos, mamíferos y reptiles. Todo lo que queríamos vivir en Costa Rica lo manifestamos en este airbnb. Sumamente agradecidos. 🤎

La propiedad es muy bonita, y las vistas, espectaculares. Tiene una pequeña piscina privada desde la que podías ver el mar. Dentro de la estancia, todo estaba muy bien: cocina equipada, lavadora/secadora, cama grande, etc…como aspecto que he echado de menos es la falta de mesillas de noche y lámparas, en caso de que quieras leer.
Importante: se necesita 4x4 para llegar a la propiedad.

Die Unterkunft ist natürlich top ausgestattet und der Pool sowie der Ausblick ein Traum. Trotzdem gab es einige Punkte, die uns gestört haben, weshalb wir die Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen würden. Zunächst mal befindet sich das Apartment nicht wirklich in der Natur, sondern in einer Gated Community, in der viel gebaut wird und die direkt an der lauten Schnellstraße liegt, die sich zwischen der Wohnung und dem Meer befindet. Direkt neben der Wohnung ist eine große Villa, die direkten Blick auf unseren Pool hat. Die Nachbarn dort feierten während unserem Aufenthalt eine Party und es war dementsprechend laut. Zudem sind im Kleingedruckten der Hausregeln zusätzliche Gebühren versteckt, die für das Hinterlegen einer Kaution anfallen. Das habe ich bislang in keinem anderen Airbnb erlebt und sollte deutlicher gekennzeichnet werden.

¡Muy lindo el lugar y con vistas increíbles! Solo como punto de mejora podrían ser un poco más accesibles con el check in / check out, fuera de eso no hubieron disturbios.

This place was beautiful to stay at for the week. The views are amazing, and you are able to have the luxury feel while being surrounded by nature. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is a beautiful property in Dominical, only about 1 mile from the free Dominical beach/city center. It is an hour drive to manuel antonio and Sierpe. The host provides a whole manuel of where to eat, shopping, gas places etc to make you feel well prepared. The view is amazing and fun to watch wildlife. It is an extremely steep drive and steep stairs to the property, but doable. Only thing we could complain about was that the wifi only worked 1 day out of our three day stay.

We loved staying here! It was just a couple minute drive into Dominical, but it felt very out-of-the-way. We hung out in the pool for several hours each afternoon just reading our books and watching the ocean, so lovely! The drive up to the gate is extremely steep, so make sure you have a car that can handle it.

The views for this property are breathtaking… so worth it. The location in Dominical is perfect !!! The inside is clean and has everything you need for a nice stay. The private pool makes for a perfect place to relax when not exploring.

My wife absolutely loved this place. It was hands down her favorite place we stayed in Costa Rica. It is super clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen and laundry amenities were so appreciated. The pool is very nice and the view is SPECTACULAR. It's very private. It definitely gives you that you're in your own private tropical paradise vibe while still being close to the town and restaurants. We were fine with the stairs but I think it would be challenging for someone with any sort of mobility impairment. Otherwise would highly HIGHLY recommend.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The views were even better than I thought they would be. It was absolutely stunning. The host thought about all the necessities including a cooler and beach chairs. The host was responsive to any needs or questions. We would love to come back. GORGEOUS place!

Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Man hatte seine Privatsphäre und eine wundervolle Aussicht vom Bett auf den Pazifik - traumhaft. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Super Ausstattung. Bequemes Bett. Viele Küchenutensilien inkl. Top-Messern. Netter Pool. Die Kommunikation und alle Infos waren super. Wir haben uns sehr gut betreut gefühlt. 4x4 Auto für die Anreise ist empfehlenswert. Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Haken für Handtücher sowie dezente Lichtquellen im Schlafzimmer und Küche für die Abendstunden wären schön. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die leider nur sehr kurze, aber tolle Zeit bei Euch! Pura Vida!

Exceeded expectations

Great location right above dominical beach. Takes less than a minute drive to reach the town and maybe two minutes to reach the actual beach. Pool was definitely a highlight of the property.

Was a really lovely spot, incredible view! and property managers were very responsive. Would highly recommend this sweet place.

This is a magical stay, the view is stunning and worth the while. The private pool was perfect for our mid-day retreat. There are plenty of steps to and from the car but we did not mind. The room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast every morning. We hope to return here one day.

What a spectacular place! So clean, so peaceful. Waking up to the 180 degree view of the ocean and then relaxing on the front porch each morning watching the toucans and other birds was so special. 4x4 is a good idea to get up the steep hill. Close to dominical and other sites. We had a great time and would choose this location on our next visit.

Le logement est exactement comme décrit dans l’annonce. Il est certes localisé dans un endroit accessible uniquement en voiture mais cela rend l’endroit très calme et privé. La vue est époustouflante et le logement est très bien équipé.
Osa Property est réactif, donne des instructions claires et répond à toutes les questions/demandes.
Je conseille vivement ce logement et y reviendrai si j’en ai l’occasion.

This rental presents a mixed bag of good and bad. First the good: you get a million dollar view (really spectacular), mornings here are very pleasant, the unit is new and the design style is nice, coordination with the property manager is easy and helpful. The bad: in the afternoon this unit is essentially a greenhouse/sauna... the sun is blinding and it heats the unit through the large windows with no shades (even with AC trying its best), and heats up the all-concrete deck and other concrete design features (which all hold heat). I had a series of other issues: the WiFi speed was VERY slow (0.49 Mbps), and one of the AC units kept failing... I am guesses these kinks will be worked out (the unit seems very new). As the description details - access here is a very steep road, and the stairs down to the unit are indeed a lot!
