We stayed for my brother’s 40th birthday and it was an amazing experience! Gorgeous views and lots of animals paid us a visit! You definitely need a 4×4 to get to the house. We had Manuele Fratini (private chef) come in 2 nights and it was super fun and great food!
The only negative I have on this place is that the ceiling started leaking in the main bedroom and it didn’t get fixed and my brother and his wife had to move rooms. We notified the property company and they responded quickly, but it didn’t get fixed during our stay. They were super unapologetic…we understood, things happen…but it didn’t mess up our trip!

My family of 5 (adults and 3 kids) stayed at this beautiful home for 10 days and it truly was amazing! I don’t know that you will find better views. From many rooms and balconies- the views are stunning. We seen a lot of wildlife during our stay- a sloth that was there most days, monkeys, and all kinds of birds. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a chef come a few nights and also cooked ourselves and had everything we needed. The pool! Wow, definitely one of the favorite things about the home. We used it daily and it overlooks the ocean and mountains. There were many restaurants and excursions close and easy to get to near by which was a plus. But lastly, the concierge team is awesome!!! They were so helpful before our stay by helping me book flights, a driver, excursions, etc. any and everything you need and also during our trip. I was very thankful for them, they made vacation easier. Definitely recommend this home- you will not want to leave.

Everything about this property was amazing. The views, the wildlife that visited, and the house itself exceeded expectations. Perfect for a family, or a group of couples. Highly recommended.

Rent this house!!! Our stay was absolutely unbelievable and worth every single penny. Not only is the house itself and every room stunning, but the views are the best I’ve ever seen at a rental (and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Pictures do not do it justice because there is no way to capture the beauty in a single picture. Almost 360 views of both the jungle and the ocean.
On top of that, there was amazing wildlife surrounding the house. During our stay, we interacted daily with a sloth (named David Lee sloth, but we found out that it is actually a female, so our group renamed her Treeyoncé), macaws, iguanas, and squirrel monkeys. The macaws and squirrel monkeys even let us feed them!
While we were there, OSA helped us set up various tours and gave us recommendations. They also had a representative there when we arrived so that they could give us a tour and show us how to operate some of the features in the home. They were always quick to respond to any of our needs or questions.

This home is beautiful. Located at the top of a mountain, the drive is steep (must have a 4x4!!) but doable (even in the night/rain).
Breathtaking rain forest views!! Like nothing I’ve ever seen. The pool is amazing. Kitchen is amazing. Every bedroom in the home is a beautiful master bedroom with nice bathrooms and beautiful view. Note - rooms are very separated in the home, accessible by separate staircase. Great for a group of adults wanting some gathering and some privacy.
We had wildlife visit right at our windows… 2 kinds of Monkeys, Macaws, a Toucan and of course the Sloth liked to hang in the tree above the pool.
Lots to do in the area. Quick 5 min drive to Manuel Antonio or to Quepos where you can find anything you need. Had the most amazing dinner at Mangata! Went on a fabulous 10 in 1 rainforest tour with Amigos Del Rio, they picked us up right from the home!

Eight of us stayed at Casa de Luna 3/22/25 for five days. We were ALL happy with the home we stayed in, its surroundings, so quiet. It seems the only sounds heard were from the wildlife. Lots of wildlife that we wouldn’t typically see in our home state of Florida. The house is stunning! I had Literal Tears come to my eyes when I walked in. We suggest hiring Chef Manuel that the mgmt company recommends. Oh my gosh, this young man has the whole world to conquer. He’s starting with Costa Rica. First time any of us hired a personal chef. Do it! You don’t hear airplanes, or cars at this home. We do recommend the affordable private air charter from San Jose to Quepos. Along with asking the mgmt company to set up transportation for you, anywhere. All of us decided we would definitely return to Costa Rica and use OSA prop mgmt. The people are happy, the country is nothing just gorgeous, and we have so much more to see in CR. I’m telling ya, Book this place. We had an amazing time!

The pictures were exactly what you walked into. There are two bedrooms downstairs that have to be accessed by leaving the front door, but you are able to lock them behind you. This didn’t cause any issues with our family. We literally felt like we were walking down stairs of a castle when we went downstairs. Those same stairs is how you access the top bedroom. The surroundings weee beautiful. We saw so much wildlife. Sunrise and sunset weee also beautiful. You are about 10 minutes from MA park entrance.

Wow! What a gorgeous home in a fabulous setting! Four of us stayed here for 3 nights / wish we could have stayed longer as we all agreed it was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The team is very responsive to any questions/concerns.
We were visited by macaws, toucans, a sloth and a team of capuchin monkeys all right at the house - what a treat!
We also took advantage of massages at the house that were fantastic

Staying at Casa Luna De Plata was an absolutely amazing experience! The house itself was wonderful, and the scenery was breathtaking. The sunsets were nothing short of magical, and we truly fell in love with the property.
The Oca property concierge went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from transportation to arranging a private chef. Their hospitality made our stay even more special. Each room in the home had its own unique personality, and we loved listening to the sounds of the jungle just outside our windows.
The pool offered stunning views, stretching from the lush landscape all the way to the ocean—simply mesmerizing. This was truly a one-of-a-kind stay, and we highly recommend it!

The views from the house are stunning and you can to see wildlife everywhere. There was a family of 5 scarlet Macaws that you could see each morning from the balconies. It was just stunning!

This place is magical, the wildlife was better than MA park.
A sloth literally hangs out in the tree above the pool- we were lucky enough to see 3 sloths including a baby hanging on Mama. Along with Macaws, 2 types of monkeys, toucans & many other bird’s & lizards. We used Gary & Luis from “The Private Chef” ( booked through OSA) for an amazing dinner at the house one of our best meals during our stay. OSA Properties was very attentive to all of our needs before our stay & during, when we had a question they contacted to us in minutes.
The house is stocked with basics seasonings including zip locks!! Every pot & pan u need
Yes road needs a 4x4 but after you find the place it is easy to drive.
I must admit I was a bit bummed when I found that all the bedrooms are suits on separate levels- have to go out the front door to get to a separate stairwell m. my 82 yr young mom made the stairs with ease. The pool & sauna are not heated so we weren’t able to use it as much.

This place was even better than the photos and worth every penny to us. We enjoyed our stay at this location and did not want to leave. It was the perfect place to stay and celebrate our friend's 30th birthday. We were greated upon arrival and given a property tour by management, and had no issues during our stay. As long as you have a 4x4 vehicle, you will not regret staying here!

Our stay at Casa Luna de Plata in Costa Rica was mostly fantastic. The property is in a beautiful location with stunning views, and the amenities were top-notch. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool and wildlife. Both the property and the views look even better in person.
However, we had a significant issue one afternoon when we returned to find the kitchen and dining room flooded due to a drainage problem on the roof. Water was pouring in from the ceiling and lights, with about 3-4 inches on the ground. This was quite stressful and inconvenient. Our group of 6 spent a good amount of time pushing water out of the house.
Unfortunately, the host was not very helpful in resolving the situation. We felt that they brushed off the inconvenience and were unwilling to provide a reasonable solution, which was disappointing.
Despite this, we still enjoyed many aspects of our stay.

We would love to share photos in this review as there was never 3-4 inches of water - we used a Tupperware-style plastic container to catch the water that was dripping through the ceiling.
You contacted us at 4:19 pm and within an hour we had two employees at the house: One from maintenance and one from cleaning to help clean up and reassure you everything was ok. We also contacted the builder immediately.
The following morning the builder was on-site assessing and repairing a roof seal at 8 am.
We checked in with you several times after that, we offered you a refund - several times in fact, but each time, you said, "No" and wanted to stay. You then wanted a 100% refund - and to stay at the house.
We find your review very disappointing and misleading, and feel it is a retaliatory review because you wanted even more money given back to you. We just hope future Hosts take-care in agreeing to Host you as you are not welcome back to any of our homes.
Other potential Guests should know that Guests leave a 5-star review ~94% of the time due to our quality of homes (~50 homes), our attention to detail and our attention shown to Guests. We have a full-time staff of ~30 employees to ensure all of our Guests receive world class service, and in the rare instance when something happens, we react very quickly and take all Guest issues very seriously.

The photos don't even do this place justice. Despite being a bit tricky to get to due to the steep road (a few taxis weren't willing or able to make it all the way up), Casa Luna de Plata way exceeded our expectations. The space was welcoming, the kitchen very well equipped for cooking meals for 8, and Henry greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. We loved the privacy of the bedrooms, particularly the top floor, which made us feel like we had a whole apartment to ourselves as well as the shared spaces. Pool and hot tub were the perfect ways to relax and enjoy the Costa Rican weather. We had easy grocery delivery, the friendliest and accommodating taxi drivers to take us to Playa Espadilla, shopping in Manuel Antonio and Quepos, and down to the marina for a sailing cruise. Communication with the host was wonderful - they provided loads of recommendations ahead of time, and even helped us track down a lost cell phone. 11/10, would absolutely stay here again.

Initially it should be addressed that the road to the house is not only difficult to follow (meet with someone prior to arrival to get there) it is difficult to navigate. A vehicle with strong HP and 4WD is definitely recommended. At the minimum a strong engine and AWD. Don’t stay here otherwise. It is both steep and gravelly. The tour from Ronnie from the management company was brief and more of a familiarization. The pool and hot tub were filled with leaves from the surrounding trees upon arrival and the hot tub wasn’t explained. It goes on at 5pm and turns off at 10pm. You cannot control it. We had no running water for approximately 12 hours which Henry came to fix around 11am. I could not get a response from OSA property management and had to look online to find the GM’s (Abigail) cell phone number and contact her directly to get a response. . A window was broken and stuck in the open position, which they also came and eventually fixed, and a toilet that didn’t flush.

We loved every moment of our visit at Casa Luna de Plata! Our 3 teens enjoyed having their own personal spaces, the pool and the hot tub. The views are awesome and we loved David Lee sloth up in the trees. We saw monkeys and a gorgeous toucan as well as other birds. The kitchen is large and a great space to cook in. We highly recommend the local farmers market in Quepos for fresh veggies and fruit as well as the local butcher. OSA property was very responsive and helpful if we ever needed them. We highly recommend this home to anyone. The location between downtown Quepos and downtown Manuel Antonio is great as well. The home is close to restaurants and grocery stores.

We loved every moment of our visit at Casa Luna de Plata! Our 3 teens enjoyed having their own personal spaces, the pool and the hot tub. Most Memorable Vacation Ever!
This house, situated overlooking the jungle, is absolutely amazing! The house is beautifully remodeled, it’s clean and comfortable. The walls of windows makes you feel like you have a first row seat to all the wildlife. We saw Toucans, plenty of monkeys, iguanas, a plethora of tropical birds. No need to visit Manuel Antonio National park! Our family absolutely loved it! It was our most memorable vacation ever!

Amazing holiday!
Casa Luna de Plata is a stunning home perched high up on the hillside. The pictures, while gorgeous, really don’t come close to what it’s like to stay here. The ultimate luxury and my favorite is lounging by the infinity pool watching the mated macaws flying by while the toucans and resident sloth entertain overhead. The owners have thought of everything - fully stocked kitchen, high end toiletries in every en suite and air conditioning for comfortable nights sleeping. Bring a bathing suit, sunscreen and a hat and you’ve packed. Everything about our stay was perfect and exactly what we needed.

The house was perfect for our group of 5 and it was so beautiful, clean and well equipped. You definitely need a 4x4 for the drive up to the house but it’s worth it for the jaw dropping views (also, it’s a fun ride!). The pool was stunning and the hot tub was a sweet ending to our very lively evenings. We recommend booking with the private chef for an unforgettable dinner and cocktail experience at home. This was one of the best airbnb experiences we’ve had and we hope to return soon!

The top floor where I stayed has a breathtaking view, a large room with luxurious bed, a rainhead shower, a large terrace and it's own private plunge pool. The furnishings and art in this home are not the typical vacation home throwaways. Every piece is beautiful and I would not be surprised to see this home in Architectural Digest. Infinity pool of course and with unobstructed views everywhere you look. Toucans, monkeys and a sloth will all be right there in the trees above you! Everything abou this property blew us away. Believe it or not the photos do not do the property justice, you have to feel it to understand. The location, design and service was impecable. Our Host Francisco made sure to check in with us regularly and even helped with bookings such as a chef service, local grocery delivery service and horseback riding (all highly reccomended). Just be sure to rent a 4 wheel drive car if driving, the climb to the house is no joke but it is well worth it as you’ll be on top of the world once up there.

Gorgeous views and your own personal zoo! You will not be sorry. The rooms are large and comfortable. Many of them had little kitchenettes with mini fridges. The patios and balconies all had fantastic views. Be aware that The swimming pool and jacuzzi disappointingly are not heated. And the main living room, dining and kitchen are not cooled. Also know that the home has many many steps up and down just to get into the home and then up or down to your rooms, patios and pool areas. You will definitely see animals! Monkeys, sloths, toucans and parrots were there everyday. We ran out at sunrise and sunset each day to see our animals and it was so exciting to come home and unwind knowing this. Make sure to wear bug spray on your exposed areas lol. We found ourselves being nibbled on by who knows what just walking around in the jungle but never really seeing what they were. This is for Costa Rica in general. We also asked and were given the what’s app link to a personal delivery service who picked up groceries or meals for us so we didn’t have to leave the house. But if you do, everything you could need was just minutes away. Make sure to watch the sunsets from the bedroom at the very top! Oh also there’s no dryer but there is a washer. In a house this big we expected this. The driveway up the mountain to the house was scary at first. Try to come in the daytime the first time you come. It is steeply pitched, has sharp turns, uneven pavement and not good signage. Make sure your phones are on Google maps and Waze. But even then, know that the directions fall short to get to the house. You will go over a tiny bridge and just continue to head up. At night you will not see this very well. A 4x4 is REQUIRED! But let me assure you it all adds to your adventure… this home and the experience you will leave with are both ONE OF A KIND! We will be back!

You can’t beat this place. It’s somehow more spectacular than the photos. I could sit on the deck by the pool all day long and look at the almost 360 degree view of the ocean and valley.
