This was perfect for our family stay – the two houses were well furnished and comfortable since everyone had their own bathroom and privacy. Do take the 4 x 4 car warning seriously! We had luck with one of our vehicles but it was definitely a gamble. We were appropriately warned about this and our host also helped us out to make sure we got to the property safely

We had a wonderful time! We went as a group of 8 including 4 children. Everything was clean with the exception of the sink in one bathroom but the host was great and Gary, who showed us the way in was also friendly and very helpful so the sink was not an issue at all! The pool is set up just right for small kids and those who can swim with deep and shallow ends! There are a couple rough spots in the granite it’s self on the bottom of the pool. My husband cut his toe on, just a surface scratch it didn’t even bleed but just be aware of that. We used chef Erik for my daughter’s birthday the day after we arrived. We had breakfast and dinner and everything was beyond AMAZING and worth every penny! Erik was wonderful to talk to! We learned a lot talking to him and so grateful for the kindness he showed us! The location is amazing! Right at the end of the drive way is a little store which came in handy almost every single day ! The beach is only a few minutes away as well! 1,000 stars!

No complaints apart from the difficulty getting to and from the air bnb. Large hill required calling 4x4 cabs. They charged $50 a trip.

We're sorry you didn't have a 5-star experience. However, we clearly disclose in the property description a 4x4 is required, in the Guidebook we state it again (which you received prior to arrival) and followed up with you with a dedicated message reminding you that a 4x4 is required.
It's unfortunate you rated the home only 4 stars when you didn't follow the rules or read the information we sent to you several times in advance.
We'd recommend for your future travels to read all of the information the Host provides (and read previous reviews where previous Guests also mention the importance of the 4x4).

Gary was very helpful with recommendations and responded quickly! We felt comfortable with the drive up as they showed us the way on day one. There were many insects, it’s a given but still. Overall the place was wonderful extremely beautiful spacious and everything we needed!

We enjoyed an incredible stay in Savegre, Osa and Moira were always very responsive for questions regarding the property. The property itself is as amazing as it looks in the pictures, and the pool was spectacular for us and the kids - the shallow side was perfect for our toddlers to jump around in while us and the big kids swam in the deep end (4.5ft, and we were so glad for it, my wife was able to reach!). The drive in absolutely needs a 4x4, and the property manager rightly emphasized it to us before the trip. We had no issues though with getting in and out, even during heavy rains.
We were very thankful for the generator they had on the property during a storm. We came during the rainy season, but every morning and early afternoon was dry and perfect for swimming. All in all, we would stay in this property again, it was a delight and made the perfect location for our 2 familes to stay in - the casita was just as amazing. Minor note, check the Blackstone fuel tank connections.

The home/property was fantastic. Beautiful surroundings and landscape. Communication was very timely. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to get up the dirt road but was well worth it as the property sits up on a hill looking over the mountain-side and ocean...can't beat the views. We would definitely stay here again, thanks to our wonderful hosts!

Wonderful Stay
A beautiful home with a beautiful view! We were a group of 4 couples. The property provided plenty of space for our group, comfortable beds, a nice kitchen(s), a lovely pool, and a wonderful view of the ocean and islands of Manual Antonio national Park. The home and casita were as described, and the property managers were attentive and helpful. 4X4 vehicle is a must to access this property. There was plenty of room for parking up to 4 cars. The community felt safe. We would stay here again.

Very beautiful! Felt like we were in the jungle! We saw monkeys on the first morning right outside of the casita! We did lose power for part of a day in the casita. The main house has a generator which is nice but it gets hot quick in the casita. They were responsive when letting them know about the power. Just to note- the power wasn’t due to anything there, it was in the area but apparently happens frequently. Just FYI.

This property exceeded my expectations. The sunsets were gorgeous, the pool was perfect and we saw monkeys, lizards, toucans, etc from the back porch. Some critters did manage to find a way into the small house (lizards and a scorpion) but this Costa Rica so be mindful! Overall, a fantastic stay!

Wer einen ungestörten, ruhigen und luxuriösen Urlaub möchte, ist hier genau richtig!
Wir haben uns in diesem Haus unglaublich wohl gefühlt.
Wir waren zwei Familien und hatten im Haupthaus drei Schlafzimmer, diese haben uns gereicht. Wir hätten sogar noch zwei weitere Schlafzimmer im Nebenhaus gehabt.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Insgesamt ist die Ausstattung sehr hochwertig.
Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer, was wirklich toll war.
Die haben auch die Terrasse und den Pool sehr genossen! Der Ausblick ist einfach nur fantastisch, wir haben morgens und nachmittags viele Vögel beobachtet, haben Affen durch die Bäume springen gesehen und morgens saß immer ein Leguan am Pool und hat uns begrüßt.
Insgesamt Erholung pur…
Um zu den Häusern zu kommen braucht man ein 4x4 Fahrzeug! Ohne wird es nicht gehen, denn die Straße ist naturbelassen und sehr sehr steil.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful place. Pool and back deck was an amazing place to relax and take in the scenery. Gary Cerdes our host was great and far exceeded our expectations as a concierge. He was very helpful in arranging shuttles and park tours and anything we needed he made sure we were taken care of.

Beautiful location, beautiful scenery. Would definitely stay again and there is plenty of room for a large party. Host is fast to respond. Kitchen has everything you need as does the whole home and beds and pillows were so comfortable. We saw wildlife in the back yard such as Jesus Christ lizards, monkeys, and sloths.

FANTASTIC three week stay! This is our 4th trip to Costa Rica and this was a great choice for a large group. W e had new groups each week. The house is minimalist style and really spread out. The kitchen is large and wide open to the living area and pool area. The beds are comfortable and having 5 bathrooms was perfect. The Casita is separate and very private yet only a few steps away. Wifi worked great, washer/dryer were so helpful, and having a backup generator was great when the power went out. There were plenty of towels and dishes, although we did go buy wine glasses and cleaning supplies at the local store, along with extra garbage bags and paper towel. Just FYI. 4x4 car was required but I only put it on once during a storm. The space, the privacy, the location....all 10 stars. The management company helped with an in-house chef, in-house massages on the pool deck(!), and helping us hire the cleaning crew once/week to help. I will be back and ask for this house!

We had 9 people staying on the property, and had more than ample space. The pictures do not do it justice. The views are amazing and so is the wildlife. We would see reptiles, insects, multiple birds and much more. It exceeded our expectations!
We hope to return to the property and enjoy more of what Costa Rica has to offer.
