Great spot! Central location on the main road but private. We especially enjoyed the pool. Kitchen has everything you could need. Lines out back to hang all the beach/pool stuff. Comfy bedrooms and bathrooms. My only recommendation is a hammock! We happened to have one with us and there were hooks in the perfect spot.

Great spot! Central location on the main road but private. We especially enjoyed the pool. Kitchen has everything you could need. Lines out back to hang all the beach/pool stuff. Comfy bedrooms and bathrooms. My only recommendation is a hammock! We happened to have one with us and there were hooks in the perfect spot.

Absolutely perfect fresh air flowing in and out , fruit trees. Nice pool very comfortable n safe we really enjoyed being home!! and everything we wanted to do was close perfect!!

Great potential.
This place has great potential, if they were to install AC. It is also located on a busy street, which wouldn't be a problem if you could close the windows at night, which you can't because it is too hot. There are also roosters, dogs barking, etc. This was the biggest issue. That being said, the place is nice (modest, but clean and equipped nicely). The pool and grounds are fabulous. The management company was excellent!
10 day stay
Our overall impression: cute property, older but well kept. A few things were worth noting.
1. The road noise can be bothersome at night considering there is no air conditioner so there is no way to shut out traffic noise.
2. very hard mattresses and pillows. We slept on camping gear we put on top of the mattress to make it a bit more comfortable.
3. Impossible to regulate the cold/hot water-it is an extreme of either one.
3. The rooster next door seems to have not gotten the message about crowing only at daybreak. He starts about 3:30-4:15 each morning-again no way to dampen the noise as the windows must stay open. Of course, there is probably little that can be done about that!
Overall the house was clean and conveniently located. The management company is super responsive and we enjoyed our stay. Dog friendly is a definite plus.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und es gibt im Haus alles was man braucht. Wir haben die Woche dort sehr genossen. Die Terrasse und der schöne Pool mit Garten machen das Objekt perfekt. No me ha gustado que puedan entrar al recinto animales del vecindario como perros y gatos. Molesta el ruido del transito de vehiculos en la carretera frente a la propiedad ,especialmente a horas muy tempranas. Aunque por la noche se puede descansar bien.

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool is really great and the beds are very comfortable. We did have an issue with all the power surges and down Wi-Fi, but they helped us get back up pretty quickly. The property is very spacious and has lots of different fruit trees on it.

The home is more rustic, which we liked, but be aware that there is no living room. The kitchen and laundry worked well for us, there is a cooktop but no oven.

This was our third stay in the Ojochal area and our first time renting with Osa Property Management through Airbnb. The place itself was lovely, bigger than we expected and a great sized pool and garden! It was definitely good value for money and with a bit of extra love it would be perfect. Something to note is that the property is located close to road with more traffic than expected, so just bring some earplugs for early morning. The booking process is also a little more complicated than a typical Airbnb, so keep in mind that you will be required to do some extra pre-trip paperwork. Ojochal is a fantastic area and this is a great base to explore from!

The property is beautiful. We saw many birds and animals throughout the day. The gate locks which is great for piece of mind. The neighbors are friendly. Grocery stores are very close. We did not rent a vehicle but still were able to walk to the beach and waterfalls nearby. The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars for accuracy of listing was because it said it had AC units. Two fans were provided in each room, but no AC units were present.

La casa es sencilla pero tiene todo lo mínimo para una estadía agradable. La piscina tiene un tamaño muy adecuado para el disfrute y tiene toldos que permiten estar en la piscina sin tener que recibir directamente el sol. El terreno en el que está la casa es bastante grande (unos 5.000 m2 aproximadamente) y muy bien mantenido, es el lugar perfecto para visitar con perros de cualquier tamaño ya que pueden jugar libremente en la propiedad sin ocasionar molestias y sin riesgo de escapar. Un punto importante es que la propiedad tiene un supermercado a pocos metros y algunos restaurantes.

But still was refreshing. Waking up to the birds and roosters was quit enjoyable. The tacos were very friendly, never felt threatened or scared. El lugar es precioso, la casa es pequeña pero el terreno es grande y las áreas sociales están bastante espaciosas! La piscina es bastante grande y se disfruta mucho! Muchas playas cercanas! Hay un río cerca con unas cascadas que les recomiendo vayan a visitar! La pasamos súper!

“Un lugar espectacular, propiedad muy privada y una piscina deliciosa, hay campo con bastante espacio, incluso pudimos hacer frescos naturales con los frutos de los árboles que hay en la propiedad, hay minisuper cerca, parrilla, y todo lo que se necesita para cocinar e incluso lavar. Punto estratégico para ir a playas en vehículo, la calle es asfaltada y de fácil acceso a la zona, cuando fuimos estaba recién asfaltada por la que la entrada a la propiedad como tal, tiene un poquito de dificultad para vehículos bajos pero estoy seguro que pronto rellenaran para que esté al nivel de la calle. 5 estrellas 😊, pronto volveremos!!!”

Un lugar espectacular, propiedad muy privada y una piscina deliciosa, hay campo con bastante espacio, incluso pudimos hacer frescos naturales con los frutos de los árboles que hay en la propiedad, hay minisuper cerca, parrilla, y todo lo que se necesita para cocinar e incluso lavar.
Punto estratégico para ir a playas en vehículo, la calle es asfaltada y de fácil acceso a la zona, cuando fuimos estaba recién asfaltada por la que la entrada a la propiedad como tal, tiene un poquito de dificultad para vehículos bajos pero estoy seguro que pronto rellenaran para que esté al nivel de la calle.

Muy privado, con una vista increíble a las montañas.
La piscina es súper agradable y la mantienen muy limpia.
Excelente opción para ir con mascotas, pues tienen muchísimo campo para olfatear y jugar.
Tomar en consideración que es necesario manejar al menos 10 o 15 min para llegar a alguna playa (característico de la zona).
El único comentario negativo, es que los gallos de los vecinos cantan toooda la noche y madrugada jaja. Si usted tiene un sueño ligero, le sugiero llevar taponcitos para los oídos 😉
La piscina es súper agradable y la mantienen muy limpia.

The place was very quaint, many Great restaurants near buy, spent time in joying the ocean at two different locations. Beautiful, warm and enjoyable. The property pool could have been heated. But still was refreshing. Waking up to the birds and roosters was quit enjoyable. The tacos were very friendly, never felt threatened or scared. Some of the off roads adventure were very interesting… mush rent a 4 wheel drive Vehicle. Enjoy Ojochal..

Un lugar muy privado y tranquilo, tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar del espacio exterior. La cocina está equipada por lo cual pudimos cocinar sin problemas.
