This private villa and casita with stunning jungle/ocean views has a private infinity pool of 8×4 meters, floating above the jungle. The villa is located about 600 meters to Playa Hermosa and 5km north from Uvita

Amazing location with amazing views and wildlife galore
The house is simply amazing. While it has a few quirks that take some time to adjust to, the pros outweigh the minimal cons. The pool & patios are amazing and we saw wildlife daily. Monkeys of all kinds, howlers, white faced and spider plus toucans, parrots, macaws, and all kinds of birds and butterflies all day every single day. Laundry is a must and saves you from over packing. The laundry is one the lower patio, but not an issue to have it close by when we sat outside. Walls and floors are thin so privacy is not really an option. The biggest thing is the stairs to the upstairs are outside the house. So it is important to know you have to go outside to get to first floor and the kitchen and living room. Also note that the first floor does not have a bathroom. You go outside to the pool house bathroom which is a covered walkway and super nice with shower. We got used to the floorplan by end of day 2 and didn’t worry about it at all. The last con is lack of pool railing to step into pool. The stairs are narrow and can be slick making it hard to get into the pool unless you jump in. And it is deep. Very small shallow area around the stairs. The pool patio is also amazing. If it rained we always had an outdoor area to play cards, birdwatch, and enjoy. Simply amazing. Last note – rent a 4×4 for the trip up the hill. It is windy and has bumps, turns, and drop offs. Rainy season can be a slight challenge but very doable and again worth it 100%

Paisaje hermoso. Excelente propiedad para compartir con familia o amigos y muy bien ubicada para visitar la zona en la época de avistamiento de Ballenas. Cerca de Cataratas y de las Playas. El camino estaba mucho mejor de lo esperado. Volveremos

Loved the view and the pool and the host was very responsive. Nice kitchen and new appliances. The stairs to each floor are outside and the first floor bathroom is not in the house, which was odd. Didn’t like that the upstairs AC has a motion detector and turns off if no motion is detected in 15 minutes, so it would shut off when we were asleep. Overall, it’s a nice place with helpful hosts.

Hola Mitch! Thank you for the review. In terms of the A/C unit - you did not mention that during your stay. Had you done so, we could have addressed it. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that must have caused - the sensor is set for during the day so that for environmental reasons an A/C unit is not running all day in an empty space. There must have been an error that happened - again, we are very sorry for that! We would love to Host you again!
