We simply loved everything! If we could, we would give you 10 stars. The booking was super easy, the communication fast and very friendly, helpful and absolutely nice. The house is fantastic, there is so much space, it’s clean, the rooms are lovely, the bathrooms outstanding beautiful (you can look in the jungle from the shower), the kitchen supply is welcoming to cook on your own and it’s peaceful, quiet, wonderful relaxing. You are very fast in Uvita and there is so much you can do. Also you don’t need a 4x4, it’s easy to get there. Don’t follow Google! You get the best direction with the host. The place was beautiful and peaceful. You can see the canopy and ocean right off the balcony. We enjoyed the area, pool, and large living spaces. OSA Property Management was responsive and helpful through the entire stay. The advice I have is to anyone with limited mobility or medical conditions. It is a multi-level home with the bedrooms upstairs. I brought my 72 yr old sister with my family. Although she handled it well, the rest of us were concerned for her going up and down. She also has diabetes. In the case that her blood sugar dropped in the middle of the night, she would have to go downstairs to get food or drink. I guess you could keep a small cooler in the bedroom. Other than that, it was AMAZING!

I have stayed at quite a few Airbnb houses and this one is definitely one of the best if not the best. The location is a bit remote, but getting there is part of the fun, and the surroundings are very beautiful. The house itself is amazing. Beds are great, a/c works perfectly, the kitchen has everything you need, bathrooms and showers are great, and the infinity pool is absolutely fantastic!

Looks even better in person than in pictures. Super clean and host was very responsive. Close to town and the beach, but still felt very private. Saw animals from our backyard. LOVED the property! It's a beautiful home w wonderful views. The pool, outdoor kitchen, and balconies were amazing. There's a nice outdoor bathroom that was very convenient while we were relaxing at the pool. We felt safe. There's a lovely neighbor dog who liked to come visit us in the mornings & enjoyed taking a dip in the pool. The monkeys & birds woke us up every morning at 6a. Huge bugs! We loved it all! Only a couple small issues - upon arrival the lockbox code we were given didn't work. Management was pretty quick to respond and gave us another code to try, which worked. The other problem was that the WiFi in the casita didn't work at all during our stay, and the AC & fan didn't work for the first 2 nights. Management was responsive, but things took a bit of time & we never did get the WiFi. I suggested they put a tall step ladder in the casita. We weren't able to reach the fan switches, so we brought a step stool down from the main home. We recommend the home. This place is STUNNING and was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The views from the balcony are stunning. We enjoyed the pool every night. With limited light exposure you can see so many stars at night. The bathrooms are a bit weird, one is fully outside, standalone structure, so obviously none of us used it. There is a separate little casita too with its own bathroom. We saw monkeys and birds from the balcony. Highly recommend! Casa Hermosa was really beautiful. The moment we place a foot in this house, we felt good. We stayed a group of 10 for 2 weeks and it was worth it. We enjoyed the nature around. The view on the ocean with all the sunsets was a gift. The pool and bbq place were a must. The kitchen was very functional. Lot of space for kids. I would recommend to my friends. Overall Beautiful property. Casita was not very comfortable to stay in; small with gaps in the wall that small bugs were able to enter through. The main house had 3 rooms on the top floor, all connected. The room with the bunk beds is more of a den which is great if you have small kids that need to be near you. This was a wonderful stay. The instructions are clear and precise. The house itself is huge, very comfortable, and the hilltop views are beautiful. The town is surprisingly suitable with lots to do. We were very close to Marino Ballena Park, and found the location close by. As with any place in Costa Rica, it is easy to get lost due to the absence of named roads and numbered places, and there are spots on the way that can be quite tricky driving conditions so, would highly recommend bringing a 4x4 vehicle. Communication with the host company was excellent, and special mention goes out to Maria Fernanda Zuñiga, she was great!

Our stay at Casa Hermosa was beyond words. The house, pool, privacy, and property were something I have never experienced. Our 5 night stay with our 4 small children was out of this world. This private and beautifully landscaped property was just what we needed to end our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. The house has so many unique touches and everything you need to be comfortable and you are under a 10 min drive to great local stores and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back to Casa Hermosa very soon.

First off I have to shout out to OSA Property Management. They absolutely made our stay perfect from booking to end. They are very helpful and went well above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect at every second. Their communication was amazing. Our stay at Casa Hermosa was beyond words. Loved the aesthetic, it was very nice and private. The casita and bar area were the highlights. Popped a tire getting there at some point coming back. The roads there aren’t the best, especially after heavy rains. Lots of bugs! Keep doors closed and watch out under the sink and behind the washer. Overall the stay with my 4 friends here was amazing! The house is simply amazing. While it has a few quirks that take some time to adjust to, the pros outweigh the minimal cons. The pool & patios are amazing and we saw wildlife daily. Monkeys of all kinds, howlers, white faced and spider plus toucans, parrots, macaws, and all kinds of birds and butterflies all day every single day. Laundry is a must and saves you from over packing. The laundry is one the lower patio, but not an issue to have it close by when we sat outside. Walls and floors are thin so privacy is not really an option. The biggest thing is the stairs to the upstairs are outside the house. So it is important to know you have to go outside to get to first floor and the kitchen and living room. Also note that the first floor does not have a bathroom. You go outside to the pool house bathroom which is a covered walkway and super nice with shower. We got used to the floorplan by end of day 2 and didn't worry about it at all. The last con is lack of pool railing to step into pool. The stairs are narrow and can be slick making it hard to get into the pool unless you jump in. And it is deep. Very small shallow area around the stairs. The pool patio is also amazing. If it rained we always had an outdoor area to play cards, birdwatch, and enjoy. Simply amazing. Last note - rent a 4x4 for the trip up the hill. It is windy and has bumps, turns, and drop offs. Rainy season can be a slight challenge but very doable and again worth it 100%

Loved the view and the pool and the host was very responsive. Nice kitchen and new appliances. The stairs to each floor are outside and the first floor bathroom is not in the house, which was odd. Didn’t like that the upstairs AC has a motion detector and turns off if no motion is detected in 15 minutes, so it would shut off when we were asleep. Overall, it’s a nice place with helpful hosts. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that must have caused - the sensor is set for during the day so that for environmental reasons an A/C unit is not running all day in an empty space. This property did not disappoint! Even more beautiful than the photos!! We travelled with two adults and three teenagers and we all had a wonderful time. We loved the separate pool area and grill. The covered balconies were perfect to enjoy the outdoors no matter the weather! I appreciated having access to laundry and the dishwasher worked very well. It’s worth noting that the upstairs is not accessible from the main living area - you must go outside to get to both the upstairs and a washroom. This was okay with us as our kids are older. The little cabin was a great little bonus space. The cabin was not air conditioned like the main unit (as advertised) but does come with a great fan. Overall, this space is just beautiful! The hosts were incredibly responsive, and we had a fabulous time no matter the weather (it was sunny most days!). I would recommend reading the guidebook for clear directions and try to check in before it gets dark 😌

Loved this place. It really is an amazing property. The only negative is that we were very surprised to find out that there was not AC in the cabin, so beware of that before booking. We didn’t use the cabin because it was too hot, which eliminated a whole room.

Todo perfecto. La ubicación algo dificil de acceder si no tienes un 4x4, además que nos pillaron las lluvias fuertes y mucho barro. Hubo filtraciones de agua en la casa debido a las lluvias pero nada importante. Muy de agradecer el lavavajillas, lavadora y secadora de gran capacidad. Vistas inmejorables. Se agradecería en la casa independiente, ventanas. Solo hay mosquiteras y con las fuertes lluvias y viento, no se dormía bien.

This is an absolutely stunning home. We stayed with friends, and the rooming situation worked well for everyone. We all had our own private space, but the kitchen and deck were big enough for us to cook together and play games. Really enjoyed that the property came with some card games, too. Saw lots of birds on the property, some agoutis, and heard the howler monkeys, but we didn't see them. Appreciated being across the road from Playa Hermosa and some good restaurants. Host were friend and responsive. Instructions were clear and communication was quick. The route to enter home is a bit rough during the rainy season however the home and surrounding areas have beautiful views and are minutes away from supermarkets and the beach.

Our stay was incredible, the place is so peaceful that is perfect to scape the noise of the city! The house has an interesting distribution, specially about to access the different spaces… But it’s so spacious, comfy the those things are minimal. The Osa Property team was always attentive and willing to help, answering questions promptly. So, this place is totally recommended, there’s nothing bad about this place.

I can’t say enough good things about this space! The property management company was extremely responsive and helpful. The space has anything you could possibly need. It has this cool path that leads you to a fun little river that you can explore through. We had such a great experience, I highly recommend and my family and I will definitely be back 🙂

Our stay here felt like a retreat, the house is clean, beautifully decorated and has a wonderful view on the jungle and ocean. The pool is also wonderful and refreshing and we spotted many birds and other animals right in the garden. If you want to have a luxury and relaxed stay, this is where you want to go! Le logement est dans un écrin de verdure/paisible très appréciable et possède des équipements (piscine, jeux) pour en profiter. L’hôte a été très réactive à nos demandes et l’arrivée a été facile. Le seul inconvénient est la disposition des pièces à l’étage où il est nécessaire de passer par une chambre double pour accéder à la chambre triple (nous étions 9). Je recommande.

wat een heerlijke plek op onze doorreis, hier in Villa Vada Hermano hadden we echt vakantie. Het terras was geweldig: uitzicht op zee, een mooie grote houten eettafel, een luie lounge vanaf waar we onze 2 pubers plezier hoorden maken in het zwembad. Ook veel dieren gezien in de tuin en op de weg baar het huis. Van de host hadden we leuke restaurant tips gekregen zoals het Foodcourt in Uvita en La Parcela met zeezicht in Dominicalito. Het was gewoon heerlijk sochtends lekker beetje te surfen en zonnen op de 2 leuke stranden, dan wat boodschapjes doen én uitgebreid chillen in de prachtige villa tot etenstijd. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en heel gezellig en sfeervol ingericht. De weg erheen is uitdagend, maar ik was met 3 mannen die dat juist geweldig vonden. Het zorgt in ieder geval voor het spectaculaire uitzicht met af en toe zelfs papegaaien.

There are holiday houses and holiday surprises. This was a great surprise. The space, the view of the big terrasses, the infinity pool: we felt like celebrities. There are many places in this villa to sit together but there is also always a lovely place for your own if you like. We had a great stay and wonderful evenings. Seeing the sun go down in the sea from the roof terrace was just stunning and romantic: so many colours... The communication went very smooth. We received all the information on forehand we needed and also during our stay we received answers quickly. There are plenty of great activities in the surrounding and the restaurants we visited served delicious foods. Is there nothing negative? Yes. That our vacation here came to an end. We'd love to come back. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful time. Compared to other Airbnb house with similarly great views of the Pacific, the road to get there wasn’t too bad and it was paved at least half way. Playa Hermosa and other attractions are very nearby. We watched the most stunning sunsets from the house. You are high up and can see the tree canopy from above which is beautiful. Overall better than expected.

The place is advertised as "Magnificent jungle hideway…" and it is like a jungle: you hear at dusk or dawn the howling monkeys, which are quite frightening the first few times you hear them. We got to see coatis, peccaries, birds of every kind. An awesome place to be when you come from a North American city. And the house is a like a haven, after a day on the beaten track or at the beach.

Kids loved the pool and the views from the porch are amazing. We sent many hours sitting on the porch watching monkeys and birds. We would definitely recommend it to others.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay! To begin with, the home itself is STUNNING and had absolutely incredible views. We were able to hear & spot howler monkeys up in the trees while walking along the river on the property and saw toucans one evening from the balcony.

Casa Hermosa will leave you breathless. You will have the choice of 3 terraces to admire the jungle with the ocean on the horizon. The sun sets right in front of you. It feels like a movie because this place is so heavenly.

Our time at Casa Hermosa was incredible, the place looked exactly like the photos. The views were stunning. Was able to access the place with a car, but a 4x4 would have been much easier.

The house is more amazing than the description or the photos. Lovely house, perfectly set up and beautifully maintained. Beds were very comfy (we like a firm mattress), kitchen had everything we needed, bathrooms were awesome and the multi-decks are outstanding! We used both of the king rooms and their associated bathrooms and all 4 of us (2couples) were extremely comfortable. The stunning bird watching and many local animal sightings were so much fun. We got to see a very sleepy sloth too!! The outings to national parks, a mangrove park, whale wat hing and an animal sanctuary were just what we were hoping for. Wouter's suggestions and recommendations were absolutely perfect - from restaurants to whale watching he got it right every time. Cannot wait to return! Pira Vida!!

The house is very nice, it is in a super quiet area. My kids really enjoyed the pool.

We especially loved the privacy and the view from the house. The house itself is also very clean and modern. It has everything you need for a perfect vacation close to the beach. The road up to the house is unpaved but very easy to drive. We loved Uvita as it is much less touristy than many of the other places at the beach but it still had great restaurants nearby (by car), surf lessons, beautiful beaches and more. Don’t miss to visit Nauyaca waterfall!

A beautiful property in the middle of the rain forest. The kids loved the pool. My wife and I enjoyed animal watching from the cabin. We stayed comfortably with 8 people (two families). Definitely rent a 4x4, as part of the magnificence is the secluded location. We would definitely stay again!

We had an awesome stay .. we didn’t need to go far to experience the costa rican wildlife.. spotted so many animals from the pool and terraces.. howlers & spider monkeys, agoutis, a tayra, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, iguanas, lizards and geckos.

The house is simply amazing. While it has a few quirks that take some time to adjust to, the pros outweigh the minimal cons. The pool & patios are amazing and we saw wildlife daily. Monkeys of all kinds, howlers, white faced and spider plus toucans, parrots, macaws, and all kinds of birds and butterflies all day every single day. Laundry is a must and saves you from over packing. The laundry is one the lower patio, but not an issue to have it close by when we sat outside. Walls and floors are thin so privacy is not really an option. The biggest thing is the stairs to the upstairs are outside the house. So it is important to know you have to go outside to get to first floor and the kitchen and living room. Also note that the first floor does not have a bathroom. You go outside to the pool house bathroom which is a covered walkway and super nice with shower. We got used to the floorplan by end of day 2 and didn't worry about it at all. The last con is lack of pool railing to step into pool. The stairs are narrow and can be slick making it hard to get into the pool unless you jump in. And it is deep. Very small shallow area around the stairs. The pool patio is also amazing. If it rained we always had an outdoor area to play cards, birdwatch, and enjoy. Simply amazing. Last note - rent a 4x4 for the trip up the hill. It is windy and has bumps, turns, and drop offs. Rainy season can be a slight challenge but very doable and again worth it 100%
