Casa Hermosa

Durant nos trois semaines au Costa Rica, nous avons fait cinq logements, celui-ci était de loin le plus idyllique! Comme le Costa Rica est un paradis, nous étions justement au septième ciel en ce logement hors du commun! Si nous revenons dans le coin, c’est ici que nous allons revenir!

La casa tiene una vista maravillosa, cerca de todas las playas, perfecta para nuestra familia grande. El único punto de mejora es que no hay un baño de visitas en la primera planta del comedor, hay que bajar o subir o salir al baño, con lluvia es realmente inconveniente. Por todo lo demás, nos encantó este tiempo de vacaciones.

I have stayed at quite a few Airbnb houses and this one is definitely one of the best if not the best. The location is a bit remote, but getting there is part of the fun, and the surroundings are very beautiful. The house itself is amazing. Beds are great, a/c works perfectly, the kitchen has everything you need, bathrooms and showers are great, and the infinity pool is absolutely fantastic!

La casa es muy agradable y espaciosa. Rodeada por naturaleza y en un lugar muy tranquilo. Carros bajos no se recomiendan, es ideal un 4x4, en especial con lluvia. Atención amable. Logramos conseguir un servicio express para pedir comida desde el pueblo, eso facilitó mucho las cosas cuando no queríamos bajar la montaña.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the villa. We stayed for three nights and our kids loved the pool, the sunsets on the deck, the howler monkeys nearby and birds everywhere. It was a truly amazing experience!!!

Prachtige woning met fenomenaal uitzicht(jungle&zee)! Woning was top uitgerust voor ons gezin van 8 volwassenen. We hebben van de eerste tot laatste minuut genoten. Heel vlot contact met de beheerder.

Looks even better in person than in pictures. Super clean and host was very responsive. Close to town and the beach, but still felt very private. Saw animals from our backyard. LOVED the property! It's a beautiful home w wonderful views. The pool, outdoor kitchen, and balconies were amazing. There's a nice outdoor bathroom that was very convenient while we were relaxing at the pool. We felt safe. There's a lovely neighbor dog who liked to come visit us in the mornings & enjoyed taking a dip in the pool. The monkeys & birds woke us up every morning at 6a. Huge bugs! We loved it all! Only a couple small issues - upon arrival the lockbox code we were given didn't work. Management was pretty quick to respond and gave us another code to try, which worked. The other problem was that the WiFi in the casita didn't work at all during our stay, and the AC & fan didn't work for the first 2 nights. Management was responsive, but things took a bit of time & we never did get the WiFi. I suggested they put a tall step ladder in the casita. We weren't able to reach the fan switches, so we brought a step stool down from the main home. We recommend the home. This place is STUNNING and was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The views from the balcony are stunning. We enjoyed the pool every night. With limited light exposure you can see so many stars at night. The bathrooms are a bit weird, one is fully outside, standalone structure, so obviously none of us used it. There is a separate little casita too with its own bathroom. We saw monkeys and birds from the balcony. Highly recommend! Casa Hermosa was really beautiful. The moment we place a foot in this house, we felt good. We stayed a group of 10 for 2 weeks and it was worth it. We enjoyed the nature around. The view on the ocean with all the sunsets was a gift. The pool and bbq place were a must. The kitchen was very functional. Lot of space for kids. I would recommend to my friends. Overall Beautiful property. Casita was not very comfortable to stay in; small with gaps in the wall that small bugs were able to enter through. The main house had 3 rooms on the top floor, all connected. The room with the bunk beds is more of a den which is great if you have small kids that need to be near you. This was a wonderful stay. The instructions are clear and precise. The house itself is huge, very comfortable, and the hilltop views are beautiful. The town is surprisingly suitable with lots to do. We were very close to Marino Ballena Park, and found the location close by. As with any place in Costa Rica, it is easy to get lost due to the absence of named roads and numbered places, and there are spots on the way that can be quite tricky driving conditions so, would highly recommend bringing a 4x4 vehicle. Communication with the host company was excellent, and special mention goes out to Maria Fernanda Zuñiga, she was great!

First off I have to shout out to OSA Property Management. They absolutely made our stay perfect from booking to end. They are very helpful and went well above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect at every second. Their communication was amazing. Our stay at Casa Hermosa was beyond words. The house, pool, privacy, and property were something I have never experienced. Our 5-night stay with our 4 small children was out of this world. This private and beautifully landscaped property was just what we needed to end our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. The house has so many unique touches. It had everything you need to be comfortable, and you are under a 10 min drive to great local stores and restaurants. I can't comment on all the amazingness as there isn't enough time. We will definitely be coming back to Casa Hermosa very soon.

Our stay at Casa Hermosa was beyond words. The house, pool, privacy, and property were something I have never experienced. Our 5 night stay with our 4 small children was out of this world. This private and beautifully landscaped property was just what we needed to end our 2 weeks in Costa Rica. Loved the aesthetic, it was very nice and private. The casita and bar area were the highlights. Popped a tire getting there at some point coming back. The roads there aren’t the best, especially after heavy rains. Lots of bugs! Keep doors closed and watch out under the sink and behind the washer. Overall the stay with my 4 friends here was amazing! The house is simply amazing. While it has a few quirks that take some time to adjust to, the pros outweigh the minimal cons. The pool & patios are amazing and we saw wildlife daily. Monkeys of all kinds, howlers, white faced and spider plus toucans, parrots, macaws, and all kinds of birds and butterflies all day every single day. Laundry is a must and saves you from over packing. The laundry is one the lower patio, but not an issue to have it close by when we sat outside. Walls and floors are thin so privacy is not really an option. The biggest thing is the stairs to the upstairs are outside the house. So it is important to know you have to go outside to get to first floor and the kitchen and living room. Also note that the first floor does not have a bathroom. You go outside to the pool house bathroom which is a covered walkway and super nice with shower. We got used to the floorplan by end of day 2 and didn't worry about it at all. The last con is lack of pool railing to step into pool. The stairs are narrow and can be slick making it hard to get into the pool unless you jump in. And it is deep. Very small shallow area around the stairs. The pool patio is also amazing. If it rained we always had an outdoor area to play cards, birdwatch, and enjoy. Simply amazing. Last note - rent a 4x4 for the trip up the hill. It is windy and has bumps, turns, and drop offs. Rainy season can be a slight challenge but very doable and again worth it 100%

Paisaje hermoso. Excelente propiedad para compartir con familia o amigos y muy bien ubicada para visitar la zona en la época de avistamiento de Ballenas. Cerca de Cataratas y de las Playas. El camino estaba mucho mejor de lo esperado. Volveremos

Loved the view and the pool and the host was very responsive. Nice kitchen and new appliances. The stairs to each floor are outside and the first floor bathroom is not in the house, which was odd. Didn’t like that the upstairs AC has a motion detector and turns off if no motion is detected in 15 minutes, so it would shut off when we were asleep. Overall, it’s a nice place with helpful hosts. Response: Hola Mitch! Thank you for the review. In terms of the A/C unit - you did not mention that during your stay. Had you done so, we could have addressed it. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that must have caused - the sensor is set for during the day so that for environmental reasons an A/C unit is not running all day in an empty space.
