NEW POOL! Jungle! 5-min Uvita-Beaches-Wildlife

Ein schönes kleines Haus, etwas ausserhalb gefühlt mitten im Urwald! Ein Highlight war für uns der blitzsaubere Pool, gross genug, um ein paar Züge zu schwimmen und angenehm für eine leichte Abkühlung! Die Strasse ist wirklich nur für Allradfahrzeuge, aber auch nach einem recht starken Regen gut befahrbar. Wir würden hier wieder buchen!

The house is up in the moutains with a beautiful pool. Uvita is just a few minutes drive.

La casa tiene una ubicación muy conveniente, cerca del centro de Uvita. La comunicación y respuesta de la persona anfitriona fue excelente. El lugar es tranquilo y tiene una vista muy bonita a un bosque que es visitado por monos y pájaros. La casa no es muy amplia y el equipamiento de la cocina es elemental/pobre. La relación precio-calidad no es buena. La decoración muy básica, la piscina es totalmente independiente de la casa (no está integrada) y se comunica por unas gradas externas. En la zona de la piscina no hay baño ni un lugar para tomar agua, tampoco una mesa que permita consumir alimentos o bebidas. You're correct about there not being bathroom next to the swimming pool. During your stay you made no mention of any inconveniences and, in fact, thanked us for bringing you a kitchen amenity you requested. We wish you the best in the future. Pura vida!

Maison superbe pour un vrai dépaysement, rien à dire sur la réactivité, tout était top mis à part le fait qu’on ait pas trouvé facilement de nuit, mais c’est de notre faute car nous avions pas de 4x4 et c’est indispensable

Kitchen appliances were difficult to use, plumbing issues occurred in multiple bathrooms, and overall cleanliness fell below expectations. Power and water outages occurred multiple times, including a prolonged outage during our only full day at the home, which ultimately forced us to leave. Due to the ongoing interruptions, we declined further service visits.

Meine Frau und ich hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Unterkunft und der Pool waren sauber. Der Pool hatte eine sehr angenehme Temperatur. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und sehr hochwertige Einrichtung. Das absolute Highlight ist die Lage, die Aussicht und die Tierwelt in der direkten Umgebung. Wir haben verschiedene Affenarten, Nasenbären, Aras, Toucans, Agoutis gesehen und wurden von Brüllaffen an einem Morgen direkt im Baum neben uns geweckt - wirklich magisch. Wir haben die Unterkunft so sehr genossen, dass wir gar nicht mehr viel in Uivta unternommen haben, denn durch die Lage fühlt man sich wie im Nationalpark. Für den Weg ist zu 100% ein 4x4 notwendig. Aber der Weg ist absolut machbar.

Eine sehr schöneS Haus oben weiter auf dem Berg Mit einen sehr schönen Pool in dem Dschungel wo man Affen und Vögel beobachten kann !

I went here for my 30th birthday with three other friends and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning enjoying coffee watching the wildlife. We saw macaws, monkeys, and many more critters. Check in and check out was extremely easy and the host was great at communication. Ten out of ten stay and we would love to come back some day!

Overall the place is a good place to crash. Loved the green surroundings. Had some cleanliness issues when we got there, but they came and took care of them very quickly. Management company is really responsive. My major concern with this listing is the water. Power in Costa Rica can go out - it comes with having lots of greenery and power lines. The problem is the water is run off a pump - no power, no water. That's a problem when the power is not always available. Gravity fed systems in other places I've stayed solve this problem. I can live without the lights, but it's a little harder to accommodate not having water. Otherwise enjoyed the place. If the power would have stayed on, I wouldn't even have noticed! Saw wildlife and enjoyed the area a lot. Response: Thank you for your review and, more importantly, your patience. We completely understand your frustration with the water pump issue. Unfortunately, the road the house is located on all use pumps - the community is in talks with the local water committee to try and get a dedicated, gravity fed system. We took a holiday of two weeks to run away from stress, the house and location were exactly what we need . Reclusive, in the middle of the jungle with a very relaxing pool and still close to the town and the beeches, but an 4×4 vehicle is requiered.We were visited by monkeys,copaibas and white nose coati's, a lot of birds it felt like having a our personal nature park.The house and pool are just like in the pictures. And the personal from Osa help us with everything we need it..from suggestions and links for reserving excursions, to things that we need it. They were very prompt answering to our requests. For us was like a home away from home. We will always be happy to return to Casita Honu Iki. Thank you for an unforgetable holyday. Pura vida!!!!

This is my favorite air bnb I have been to! Such gorgeous views truly wrapped in the rainforest. Even the picture’s couldn’t do it justice. The place was stunning! The views were amazing. A 4x4 is a must!! It’s a long steep dirt road leading to the home in the middle of jungle. It’s very peaceful and private. My stay was great!

Wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt .

We enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. It was peaceful and I saw monkeys twice in 3 days! It’s as described, the pool was clean and it was comfortable overall.

Superbe maison . Un havre de paix et une vue magnifique sur la jungle. On y a vu des toucans, des coatis, des agoutis… Environnement calme et paisible, on y entend les sons de la nature. L’omniprésence des vitres est un vrai plus. La maison était hyper propre. Attention toutefois à ne pas négliger l’arrivée au Air bnb : la route est une piste rocailleuse avec une très forte pente, avec des virages importants. N’envisagez pas d’y arriver de nuit et 4x4 obligatoire bien sûr, mais malgré ça, la route est difficile. Mais on l’oublie vite une fois sur la terrasse 😉.

El lugar está fantástico, muy cómodo, limpio y agradable. Un lugar para disfrutar con la naturaleza, incluso nos tocó ver una familia de monos desde la alberca así como otros animales. Toda una experiencia completa de CR 🤩

Honu Iki Casita ofrece una experiencia auténtica de conexión con la naturaleza. La propiedad es luminosa, ventilada y cómoda, ideal para descansar y desconectarse. La piscina tiene una vista preciosa, y dormir con los sonidos del bosque fue un verdadero privilegio. Durante la estancia vimos y escuchamos monos, además de guatusas y muchas aves. La ubicación es estratégica, cercana a playas y parques nacionales (Marino Ballena y Manuel Antonio entre otros), con excelente oferta gastronómica, y permite escaparse de compras a Golfito o Paso Canoas con solo 2 h de manejo. Además, el entorno transmite paz y armonía, ideal para quienes buscan una pausa del ruido citadino. El equipo anfitrión fue atento y profesional en todo momento, con comunicación clara, seguimiento oportuno y actitud proactiva. Como anfitrión, valoro profundamente ese nivel de dedicación. El detalle de bienvenida con frutas frescas fue un gesto sencillo pero muy apreciado. Volvería sin dudarlo. ¡Pura vida!
